I believe the builder are good people. Just to much work in a short time. When your moving fast you make mistakes. Service after the sale is everything, at present the response times on painting and repairs are slow. I hope we get all of our punch list taken care of as some are big. Hoping for the best that we are able to get them completed. Note, the walk way down to the lake is to steep and not wide enough for two golf carts. This is dangerous and does not make sense for a 55 over community. This need immediate attention before someone gets injured. Question how often have you used this ...

I was provided a list of inclusions that were inaccurate, several items were not included. I am confused by the everything included tagline because I see that everything is only included if you are an investor. Ironically the items I was told you can’t get were included on the investor homes. Also, I have had two warranty requests and although I was told everything would be repaired only a couple things have been with no word on the other items. It appears employee turnover is part of the problem.

Communication was poor among the different professionals who I was working with during the home buying process (consultant, loan officer, construction manager, etc.). As soon as I closed, my consultant stopped responding to any emails for assistance with simple issues. There are a number of things that I have found after my initial walkthrough, within my first month of living her (i.e., cracked cabinets, paint flaws, grout flaws) that should have been done right in the first place that are frustrating to deal with now.

Everyone realizes the challenges we all faced w/COVID material shortages, etc. That said, however, very shoddy workmanship over an 8 mo period (yes I waited 8 months to close) is another matter. Issues like a toilet not secured to the floor, visible daylight at all door edges, zero caulking at all sinks, scattered debris on the roof, unsecured fencing (I could go on) do not require the services of highly skilled/trained workers. We've been in our new home for about 6 wks now. It's a nice home, but the process was riddled with slip-ups, pushbacks, and several missed deadlines that caused much anxiety, frustration, and cost a few extra thousand dollars that was not in the budget. The sad part is...I can't even say it was worth all we went through. Firstly, I do NOT recommend Lennar Mortgage; secure your funding elsewhere if you can. The quality and workmanship of the home, especially for the price, was not what I expected. The work was rushed, lacked attention to detail, and the follow up was lacking. Two months after closing we still have several issues that have not been resolved and are still without items that were paid for as options. I would recommend for future buyers considering Lennar to hold money at closing or delay closing until all items are completed.

We were happy with the initial buying process and incentives. We like the standard upgrades. We do not care for the pre walk process. We had to do the final walk 2 hours before closing. We were unable to change the time which left us feeling rushed. There were excessive cosmetic issues which means we have to wait until month 11 to have those fixed since there was no time. The flooring company left us extra flooring and it was here during pre walk, but was taken before we closed. No one can tell us the paint base. So a free gallon of touch up paint is useless without that information. There ...

The whole process was not what I expected. The sales person was not truthful in some of her statement i don't believe she cared about how i felt as a buyer. They could do alot better with helping you set up your smart home. They want you to pay someone to come out and set the equipment up when I think it should have been properly set up when we moved in. We been here for 2 months and still can't get the keyless door to work. Lennar needs to be a little more focus on the customers experience.

I was so excited to purchase a new build that I felt rushed to make my decision and choices to avoid being left out. Had I known what I know now, things would have gone a little differently. Also, the quality of the workmanship is subpar. Make sure the materials and quality are what you are paying for and not just the fact that you have a new home.

For the amount of money we spent on this new build, we are unsatisfied with the quality of work and very little attention to detail that we have found, and continue to find. The walls are extremely thin... we can hear everything inside and out.. and the home doesn't seem to be well insulated (drastic temp difference from room-to-room). Some of our windows were not level and the spackle within the window sills is terrible (uneven, not sanded well). The quality of the paint used in the home is like chalk. Of the three new home builds we have purchased in our lifetime this one has by far been the most troublesome. Starting with the walk through there were dozens of issues that basically looked like no one had done any quality control (Multiple paint colors, large unpainted patches, lose fixtures, broken fiber port to name a few) Over the past 2 months we have had dozens of contractor visits to fix things and as of writing still have around half a dozen outstanding issues. Do not close until the house is complete with all the options as advertised. Bombardment of emails without awareness of the urgent ones required for closing documentation and frequent missing closing information such as routing numbers etc requiring physically acquiring this information and possibly closing check on the day of closing. After closing and being inconvenienced after moving all items into house and having to address issues that should have been resolved prior to closing.
