The entire process - home buying, mortgage, orientation, closing and follow ups has been amazing. We really loved and continue to enjoy working with Lisa, Anita and Ed!

The sales process was easy. Lennar mortgage needs improvement. So many repetitive disclosures and multiple times submitting documents when they are clearly on the site. Then, we didn't have the scheduled walk-though at stud stage and another later before the two week before closing walk-through. It was noted that Lennar doesn't like to close a house at this stage of the build but they pushed ahead anyway. The anxiety of not being able to close since there were no appliances until the day before closing was enormous. I don't know why you bother putting appliances in that are low grade and not let the buyer choose. There are several items that were not finished before I took possession that are on "the list". I would recommend that new home buyers visit these homes while under construction to view their lack of quality.

Lennar does a good job of informing you of the home buying experience: no changes, no alterations, no need to haggle over additions, etc. You get a walk through of the model home which was mostly, but not totally, identical to the finishings and workmanship of your soon to be home. The selling agent was very friendly, knowledgeable and overall helpful through the process. The mortgage agent, although we didn't end up going with them because of other issues, was quite good and would even consider using them in the future. The construction manager was rude, but has an understandably hard job. However, the construction of the home was difficult to watch, from preroof all the way through completion. The "rough it" crews, sure are rough. The workmanship and quality of framing was subpar and I know this is a "builder" quality home, but just know that it REALLY is. No getting around that. The plumbers and electricans make quick drills through the house to run electrical and plumbing often leaving behind mistakes that get corrected with 10 or more stud guards. When these issues are pointed out the standard answer will be "this is all passes inspections". If you know this going in, it's still hard to see. You want your home to be perfect and although you're not seeing these things when it's finished, you know they are there. The drywall and finishings are fine, but very cheap. The trim was embarrassingly small for the size of the home, the appliances are lower end and the lighting is basic. The wall color wasn't our taste. I think Lennar should improve on the styling and design of fixtures etc. They don't have to spend a lot to get something more modern and in taste. But again, we knew all this when we purchased, it was still hard to stomach even though we knew about it. Overall, it really is a 2 star. Not absolutely terrible, probably a good purchase, but hard to stomach when you're paying thousands of dollars to change basic things that could have been changed during the building process. I think if they invested only 10% more in the design of the home and allowed some small changes on our dime, like wall color and cabinet color, allowing us to insulate the garage, etc. it would have made the experience at least one star if not two better. ... Lennar has separated its self from the other builders. The quality of their homes is top notch. “Upgrades” that cost tens of thousands more with other builders are Included with Lennar. I highly recommend Lennar to anyone looking for a home.

My experiences differed depending on the stage of the home buying process and which department I was dealing with.

There are certain expectations you have when paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a new home. I will say that Lennar has done a great job of making things right over time but with a rush to build homes, there are details missing that shouldn't have gotten by. They need to slow down and ensure things are done correctly the first time. The most upsetting for me is the low quality dishwasher that was put in our home. I certainly expected more after being a homeowner for more than 20 years. We are still happy with our purchase overall and hope that Lennar takes steps to improve.

The sales team to start is beyond wonderful until you sign that contract, then you become a number. You better shut up and not make them work either, otherwise they will demean and demoralize you in hope that they can tear up the contract and sell it at a higher price. The workmanship is a joke. The house is literally falling apart left and right and warranty claims that I have put in in October still aren’t fixed at the end of January. I’ll be making street signs with all of my warranty issues that will remain in my front yard for all potential buyers to see until all issues are fixed. Shaya and Julian were the most helpful and best part of my Lennar experience. It was a easyand pleasant process for a first time buyer.

I expected more from the builder in the construction for the home the materials do not look so great as they show in the model. For the price I expected more but we got so overwhelmed and at the end we only want to closed the deal. For my experience I will not say more.

Good Modern House with secure community!

The sales and service were great. This is the most expensive home we have purchased and feel like the attention to detail was not as expected.

I had an incredibly awful experience with the customer service of Lennar. The company did not work in a timely fashion for necessary community approvals, but did not disclose this until the evening prior to closing. Days with an unknown closing date followed with Lennar completely lacking in communication, concern that my household goods were already on their way from across the country, and telling me on multiple occasions that I should be calling the government agency to get the approval faster. It was the worst experience I have ever had (by far, literally don't have anything else to compare it to) and I will never buy from Lennar again. In fact, I was ready to cancel my contract, losing thousands of dollars, just because of how bad the experience was. The only reason I didn't was because my child had already started school in the area and there was no other housing available at that time without having to transfer my child to another school. (2) Disappointing Surprises: A) Master Bath Vanity: Master Bath in the Model had 4 drawers; whereas our Vanity only has 2 drawers...increasing dead space on either side of the sink .We were never appraised of this change. When approaching Lennar, no one could identify a solution (sales, operations, construction)..."this not my responsibility" was response received. B) Location of Outdoor Covered Parking Spot: We purchased our Unit on the Top floor of our building ($)... with the expectation our spot would be somewhere in the 1st row nearest the building. We are in Bldg #5...all the other 4 completed buildings all have 2 rows of parking. We find that our spot is not in 1st row or even the 2nd row; rather we are in a newly created 3rd row nowhere near the building entrance....& directly adjacent to the Waste Mgt. dumpsters. Once again, same response " (no matter who I approached) "...I have nothing to do with that" ... More

Overall everything is satisfactory

They do not provide enough information about the home prior to signing PA. Once PA is signed nothing can be changed and we had no idea.

Great buying experience thus far!

Good people working for the company. Responsive but generally the company went cheap on some areas such as materials for the walls and sound proof material between apartments. Low quality elevator, drywalls, cabinet material, etc.

Disappointed clean up and workmanship on new home. Way too many call backs on several areas of finishing of condo.
