Went you recive your new key of your new home make 100 percent that everything are done because If you take the key and house it's not ready you lose. They don't want to do the repairs.

Need Quality Control

My roof is leaking, light switches don't turn on anything, shower glass wall not sealed, air conditioning not cooling upstairs, basement walk out drain not draining well, water coming into basement. New construction needs a quality control staff to test everything in house for working order.

I opened a case may 2019 for my door frame that is detaching from my front door and water in my basement with no response as of July 2019 and I find out the "case" was closed! My ac unit was not working either, they did come fix that but to spend the money I did on my home I deserve more respect and response. I feel like no matter who I call I am not getting a response.

Poor Customer Care after Closing for Warranty Issues

Home not completed after closing, slow or non responsive warranty claim. Poor contractors doing substandard workmanship. Promised amenities and recreational areas not completed as promised by sales rep. Materials are OK but workmanship is horrible.

Terrible customer service!

Unfortunately Lennar is more focused on selling houses than building quality homes and providing good customer service. My closing date was moved up three weeks but my house had numerous items that needed to be fixed. I was assured they would be fixed after closing. Five months later, some of these items still haven’t been repaired. I submit warranty items that need to be addressed and nothing happens. Lennar eventually closes out the ticket like it’s been completed, but it hasn’t! This has happened numerous times so I eventually call customer service. It takes months to get things ...

The building manager started out as a great asset to have in the area as we were moving in however, as time went on and more problems with the home occurred or cropped up he became less inclined to help or take responsibility for mistakes he had personally made; regarding our homes power and water supply line accounts in particular. Throughout the entire process we had to keep contacting Lennar for updates. When contractors showed up at our house they rarely knew what to do. The quality of work was not great, paint dabs on the floor etc

Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. They give you a credit to buy a gallon of paint but this will not match properly. I could go on but I’m sure other comments will address other issues.

Love the house, but not what we were expecting.

We purchased a new build Lennar home. We loved the layout of the house and the community is just what we were looking for. So, put up with the months of construction delays (not all of Lennar's fault) which forced us to live in a campground for 3 months. We moved into a very dirty house, It was not cleaned well after construction. Dust on all the walls, showers, counters and cabinets. The floor tile was not cleaned either. Still trying to get issues fixed almost 5 months in.

We've had nothing but problems since the day of closing when we walked in for final review and none of the issues had been corrected. I could give a whole list of issues and problems that almost 5 months in we are still trying to get taken care of. Seems like every time we get one resolved, another issue shows up. I wouldn't recommend them.

Lennar needs to focus on their customers

Once the agreement was signed it has been nothing but a hassle with Lennar. Homes are delivered with a “it’s good enough” standard. Communication is close to nonexistent and it’s a tough and long process to get them to do anything. I guess they are hoping people would give up and deal with things. Lennar is all about the quick turnover and sales. Not quality and customer service. Won’t recommend or buy a Lennar home ever again.

Quality lacks low builder grade

I have popping drywall throughout home. Lennar came in to fix 1st room and rate fix 2 out of ten. Did not report for rest of house based on this 1st fix. Granite on island has bad joint that is visible. Another bad fix! This is my 3rd build and absolutely not a good value for the quality.

Builders rush instead of ensuring quality products. The level of professionalism is below standard. Communication between all parties in the process is poor. If you have a new build, expect significant delays from the original move in date. I could go on, but basically expect to be disappointed and don’t set your expectations high.

Below average quality at a decent price

Don't expect your house to be built of the same quality as purchasing from single person or smaller company. You can end up with a good home as long as you're willing to go through the battle of dealing with warranty work. We had a good experience with our second sales rep and our warranty service.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

Lennar - We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home.

We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home. However, we encountered many obstacles and were pretty much told deal with it or find another location to build. Warranty items take time to rectify. In the end, we have a beautiful new house that we hope to enjoy for years to come.
