We were very pleased that our sales rep, Laura, kept us informed as the build progressed via e-mail and phone calls. She frequently included pictures from the build site.

I have had bad experience with construction management and poor worker experience where left unfinished job inside and outside of my home . They did poor job .

It was a great experience

Our experience was very stressful and unpleasant. We are still waiting for return from Lennar for the a double trip for our inspector who could not get into the house do his part because the sales person did not provide access to the house as he promised. It was a total mess from the day we stepped into the model home utill the closing day.

5 months after purchasing my home I am still waiting for construction damage repairs. I should have never closed with the construction damage. Now I feel like they are taking their time with repairs.

you get what Lennar builds. No changes allowed. It's a tract development and they are putting them up as fast as they can sell them. For that reason, attention to detail is your responsibility. If you see something wrong point it out and don't quit until it is fixed. I've owned it for 3 months and am fixing the trim and have already experienced roof leaks.

They are very easy to work with, friendly, welcoming, and very transparent, explaining everything a buyer should expect during the building process. They did everything on time, following the timeline for practically every deliverable. We are pleasantly surprised to close on the house the same day they said we would. I strongly recommend Lennar!

Very good experience with Lennar!

Overall our experience with Lennar was decent. However, what left a sour taste in our mouth was when Lennar decided to change the buying process to a bidding war. It went from going down the priority list (all on list were prequalified through their lender) and offering the houses for their respective set price, to opening it up to everyone on the list and forcing us bid against each other. Only 1 bid allowed so it should be best and final. We did that and progressively started bidding higher and higher above the “Lennar starting at price”. I know the housing market was booming but we were then bidding 60k - 100k over the houses that we wanted and we were getting ghosted (must have gotten out bid but no information was provided). The house that was in our budget and that our family wanted, become unattainable in the blink of an eye. We paid an embarrassing amount over the starting price, and that was pre upgrades. We are now in a house our family is already almost too big for our family just because an exec saw an opportunity to exploit the system. As said, I know the market was booming but I feel like Lennar, a multi million dollar corporation, who was already making a ton of money building houses with the old process, saw an opportunity to take advantage and pad their bottom line and make even more money. It’s a bitter pill to swallow to live in a neighborhood who half of your neighbors were the old system, and you paid a hundred thousand dollars over what they did, and you have the same house and closed right after them. ... My only concern is we are not receiving the garage door that we were promised when we sign the contract. The temporary door is unacceptable and not in good condition. They decided that we won’t be getting a new garage door- that will try to fix the existing dings and problem with the temporary door- this issue has made homeowners very unhappy including me. Hope they’ll revisit this problem and fix it so all the homeowners will have better respect for Lennar.

Customer care is good, they solve the issues but not as fast as it must be, the workmanship is terrible and the materials are scarce.

Good quality service from start to finish

Everything great about the buying experience. The only thing that I do not like about the homes or the appliances. It was no option to upgrade and the appliances are very very bad. It also would’ve been nice to be able to check options within the home that we could not do. Everything is already picked .

Be careful of the quality and workmanship.

We love everything about our home and the people who made it all happen. But when it came to issues we found and needed fixing it either went unanswered or took a VERY long time to get responses unless I kept pushing. Still haven’t heard anything about our grass when we first moved it.. it was leaking from the neighbors side into ours and our grass never took before winter so when it comes time our grass will look horrible.. sent numerous messages and never got answers..

These has been a nightmare for me. The apartment was not ready at the time of close but under threat of losing money they forced me to close. 60 days after not a single Lennar employee has come to fix the 26 issue that I have in the apartment. Do not trust Lennar Sales team or you will pay the consequences.

The houses were sloppily put together to meet a deadline. It shouldn’t be the owners job to make sure that the construction services and trades did their job right. There should be more quality control and checking of peoples work. Finding issues every day the longer we live here

Mark was great in sales

Starts with sales and the construction Foreman with the walk through team all have followed through to insure our new house was built well and addressed corrected any issues . Very responsive and followed up on repairs with our warranty. They've made it simple and convenient. We are impressed.

Although we appreciate that Lennar pushed to meet our established closing date, it was at the expense of the quality and completion of certain items. We are now 4-5 months post closing and still have items unfinished. Our construction manager essentially abandoned us and it's been extremely difficult getting things fixed via the warranty group. We love the house but this did not go the way it should have.

My overall experience was good. I do not want to fault them for the craft folks they hire and workmanship that they do. There were items along the way that concerned me, but overall most were taken care of. I have yet to receive my exterior house colors for touch up . I have emailed my salesperson and he keeps sending me the same document of the items included in the house, BUT I want to know the NAMES of the colors used for the exterior. Anyway, for the price at the time it was a good value.

Lennar’s team was responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. The equipment set up for the Ring, Wi-Fi extenders, and flow system was straight forward and easy to set up. We love our home so far and appreciate the ongoing check ins from Vivian.
