The mortgage process is absolutely ridiculous - the homes are missing insulation - the appliances they put in are sub-standard old - they take away items that should be included every time they raise the price & the houses for age restricted communities are Not Senior friendly I.e. they put cold air returns on the 10 ft. ceilings & not where they can be changed!! Only good thing I can say is in my community the team responsible for repairing little items is good!

Most of the walls and window casing are crooked.

Workmanship was disappointing. The subcontractors are paid by the house so they are incentivized to move quickly to maximize how much they make. This does not result in quality work. In our house the ceiling is out of plumb by at least two inches, the windows are scratched and gouged, appliances dented, cabinets defective, trimwork cracked and poorly caulked/painted and the list goes on. We are still waiting four months after closing to correct many of these issues. It appears that Lennar has little concern with customer satisfaction and is only about closing and moving on to the next house. ... More

Love the community and how is becoming. Unfortunately still dealing with issues my house have no empathy at all to fix issues

Extremely disappointing! Would not purchase another home by builder.

Our salesperson, Donna, was exceptional. It made our home buying experience painless and less stressful. She totally understood our situation (buying and selling our home). The aftersales is a totally different experience. Doug, our Customer service rep, is good but can only do so much. The vendors we dealt with (GE-ref issue and AC issue) were rude, not very understanding and total opposite of Lennar's sales team which sort of negates the good experience we had from the start. Quality and responses not as good as expected

Clearly lennar is trying to crank out as many homes as possible as quickly as possible. These homes are budget built with premium price tags

Sales office does a great job of pushing the product, but final product lacks in professionalism, quality, and attention to detail. Be prepared to pay and fix things yourself the right way or accept a less than professional job at each service request.

One-stop service provides peace of mind. An all-inclusive package sounds good.

I don't feel that the materials used were of great quality. The blinds don't go all the way to the window sill and aren't level, the faucets don't seem of a good quality, the front porch had something brown left that is raised from the cement, the ruckus was not installed properly.

Low quality and poor craftsmanship.

Painting and clean edges on drywall are obviously not a priority. Caulking around the tile floor looks terrible. Major difference in opinion of what usable backyard means .

After buying our home, we have had several issues with setting up the Next Gen features. Lennar has been either unwilling or unable to help us resolve these issues, and now, almost 5 months later, the issue STILL isn’t resolved and we are having to pay someone else to come fix it. Our multiple calls to lennar go unreturned and it is frustrating.

Would like to have seen better material in the trim work and carpeting and better quality with the drywall. Also, they're is 0 flexibility when you come into an on process home.

Lots of issues (initially) getting any response on warranty issues. Contracted company that manages the HOA and Club is COMPLETELY unresponsive. My wife and I have made a total of about 10 calls or emails and have not gotten a single response. NOT ONE. I've had to go to the office (twice) to get a message to them. In this case I have gotten a response but it's always a partial response. Follow up emails go unanswered. The other big issues include construction debris is the worst of any home I've ever purchased. Sub-contractors leave trash on the ground when dumpsters are full or removed. Lastly, architectural decisions are made to provide the cheapest solution for the builder. We have 150 amp electrical service which is not enough in a community that does not provide gas. A 50 gallon water electric heater is standard in an 8 bedroom house. Hot water runs out after the third shower. ... More

Lots of promises upfront, but the reality doesn't match what was said in the sales office. Constant drywall issues with multiple homeowners, there appears to be a very poor vendor being used continuously. For these high prices (and getting higher) there shouldn't be a wait list for a year to fix issues.

Sadly, the information from one team to the next gets lost. The client has to constantly remind them of what was told and by whom. Obviously, the client will do it since they are making such an important investment, but the support and guidance provided by Lennnar, especially to first homebuyers, is subpar. Lastly, quality of materials, attention to detail and overall value for the price paid is questionable. There is a general lack of refinement with many details.

Ive not hearing from the customer care team after 3/10. I know there will be some of contractors gonna visit me for after care, but no plan is shared and i did not get any of updates. Recently, I call and text messages to the customer care team and i did not hear anything back from them. This is my first house and i was so excited. However i really have to say this. The way that they finished house isn't really beautiful and all the minor details are bugging me because i keep seeing it. I know i am still under the warranty period but im wondering what is the purpose of having warranty when they barely take care of it. ... More

Built too fast; workmanship poor; many punch list items; takes too long to get fixes after closing due to no incentive to do anything faster than a snail’s pace.

The buying process was smooth, Lennar was involved in every aspect of the buying process, including getting a Mortgage and the closing. From that part I am happy on how everything worked out. In regards to the house, we were told a date when we would be able to walk the property to see if everything was in good shape. They said that we could bring a home inspector so we hired one for the date Lennar told us. A few days before the inspection Lennar told us the date was postponed 1 day so our home inspector couldn't come with us as he could not accommodate that last minute change. We then were told by Lennar that the inspector could not come at a later date even though it was due to their last minute change. Once we entered the property we understood why they preferred a home inspector not to come because the property was clearly unfinished, we spent many hours marking tens of defects everywhere and obviously without the help of a home inspector we missed many of them. The most important ones where related to missing insulation in the living room and scratched windows that don't close/open properly. During the tour they said don't worry anything you don't catch now it will be fixed using the 1 year warranty but that is not completely true, some thing are indeed fixed afterwards and we actually had to fix lots of them but some of the most important ones are not covered under the warranty like for example the missing insulation. Other issues we have had are with the dishwasher which stopped working after only a few uses and Lennar was unwilling to replace it. We are still waiting on having it fixed after months without dishwasher. The quality of the materials used is low and all the appliances are basic or entry level. We asked to upgrade them but they denied that possibility. The only thing it is good quality is the Ruckus AP they install which is high quality (even though is the entry level Ruckus of course). The quality of craftsmanship is very poor, you can feel how the rushed everything and don't have any attention to details. In my opinion the value we got for the price we paid is low but we are still happy because we like the neighborhood and the location of our house is really good. The house itself is beautiful and the layout works perfectly for our family. It would have been perfect if not for all these issues regarding construction. My advice for future owners is to be very careful and very thorough on the inspection. Don't trust them when they try to convince you everything will be fixed in the future because some items will definitely not be fixed and don't let them push them to sign the acceptance till every issue has been resolved. ... Our home buying experience had some ups (our sales rep, Denise, was great throughout & we got 2 unexpected upgrades) & many downs. The downs started when we were informed that features labeled on Lennar's documents as "optional" were not available or selections became unavailable during the selection process. We were also disappointed when the construction manager told us things the contractors would do (like screw down the nailed 2nd floor subfloor & sweep concrete before flooring was installed) that weren't done or not done adequately, causing squeaks & popping sounds under the finished flooring. Now that we're in our home, we're noticing that the finish work is most disappointing - painted over gouged drywall throughout the home, drywall compound on most of the outlet/wall plates (due to not taking the plates off before applying the compound & not cleaning them afterwards), missing grout around outlets on the kitchen backslash leaving visible gaps, uneven & discolored tile grout in the bathrooms, sloppy trim/moulding seams that are separating & peeling, holes in the carpet padding, & other issues. In addition to all the needed repairs, we've been asking for our 3 missing window screens for 3 months & keep being told that they're coming, but still no screens. There are also several inconsistencies in the same floor plans in the neighborhood - some have Wi-Fi garage door openers, different gutter downspout placement & breaker box placement, different house numbers, & only some have granite in the shower. Finally, the neighborhood amenities haven't started being built despite the first phase of the neighborhood being 95% built & there's no information about when they will start building. What started as an exciting & fun process turned into a frustrating & disappointing situation. There's been some turnover with Lennar's construction/warranty staff & it's taken about 2 months to finally get some of the needed repairs started. We're glad that Lennar's warranty exists to make the repairs, but it's tedious & disruptive to have different people in & out of our home over the past month with more repairs needed - all during a pandemic. All in all was an ok experience. Preferred Lender was horrible. Come to find out the HOA for the community is terrible and there is random kids in the neighborhood vandalizing things.

The whole process goes to fast so the quality suffers.

I'll never buy from Lennar again.
