My superintendent was great! He kept me informed of every step of the process, sent pictures, and was always quick to answer questions. He also provided great post-purchase support. 100% would recommend.

I love my home, and I have learned a valuable lesson. Lennar does not follow through on the process

We are very pleased with Lennar for the price, care and the service they are providing for their customers.

Overall good, detailed can be improved.

Quite a few things went wrong since the closing. We did not receive the gate RFID stickers so we were not allowed into our community, even though the HOA pdfs we received 4 hours after the closing (around 10PM) stated we should've received gate stickers to access our home, so our move was delayed. We were also missing 1 garage remote (the package mentioned 2, we got 1), but around 2 months later we finally received the missing remote. There were 6 holes in the drywall: 2 in the staircase, and 4 in the ceiling. When installing ceiling fans, I found out some of the industrial screws holding the switches to the electrical box were completely stripped, and drywall screws were used right next to it. Drywall screws rust easily, not appropriate for electrical work, and it's not up to code. Some of the screws in the door latches upstairs are completely crooked and stripped, and 1 door in the master bathroom has visible damage and it was just painted over. There are gaps in the double doors that let in/out air and bugs. There are also gaps in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and visible staples that need to be covered, painted over. First of all, I would't brag about "having around 200 closings in one day" if everything you guys do is terrible. Terrible customer service. I don't get why we had to wait like 8-10 hours in the title house to get our keys EVEN when we presign the documents 3-4 days in advance. The finish in our house is terrible and I keep submitting tickets and my CM is not doing absolutely anything about it. Right now, I have a 24 pages long list of things that needs to be fixed.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of material and the quality of work done on my home. They are working with us to fix these things, but they shouldn’t of had to been fixed to begin with. One of my biggest complaint is the trim. The trim throughout the entire house has chips, filled holes, and flakes everywhere.

Zero QA/QC in our home. Customer care reps were sympathetic at first and helpful, but as we have been putting in the numerous daily work orders the past 2 months, the quality of service has dropped enormously and close to zero cares given. It all started to go down hill during the construction process and has now trickled down to customer care experience.

Over-all the buying experience is a plus. However the Quality of Workmanship and Materials are left wanting more. My HVAC unit had to be looked at 10 times, furnace went out in the first week of winter, hvac leaked down into my walls after the furnace repair. I understand this is a subcontractor issue, but 10 times coming out not only took time away from me working but also kept me up late at night waiting on the repair company. Also 3 months into the home, there are already flaws in the molding, cracks at seams and nail pops throughout the home. I understand that these will be fixed before the 1 year mark, however I do beleive that less than 3 months and these things are visible already show that the quality of some of the materials are sub par. Also looking at flooring where it was installed there were some parts loose, which are being looked at as well. Jason on the warranty side has been absolutely amazing. The realtors have been as well, as they were made aware of issues and wanted to make sure that they were on top of it as well. Great sales team. Soooo many routine building issues / defects that should not have been there and 3 months later are not fully corrected. Lennar should have their own in-house repair team as this seems to be endemic - or at least the 12-20 other new homeowners we have discussed with have the same issues.

Purchasing through Lennar made this home buying experience the easiest. If we’re to purchase another home, we would definitely go with Lennar!

The staff is exceptional. Barbara in Sales was always very kind always available to answer any question and knew my name. Julia, my loan rep was knowledgeable and patient as the process was a lot to deal with. She was very good explaining everything and I sure had questions! Keith conducted the dusty shoe tour and explained everything in detail and was very knowledgeable. Whitney my on-site Customer Care Rep will definitely make you feel like you’re family and make sure you get taken care of. Steve conduced a virtual visit to take care of a weather stripping issue. Customer Service is a big deal to me and I was very impressed with not only those I mentioned by name but others I also came in contact with. ... More

Lennar is a good builder who builds affordable homes. But significant attention is needed in the workmanship and review process after each phase of the build. When a house was delivered to us, we were initially happy until we started noticing issues almost in every aspect of the new house. At some point the workmanship and readiness of drywalls/carpets etc. made us feel like the house was built on a hurry just to meet a date. If attention is paid on quality and review process, in this fast moving housing market, I think Lennar will not only sell houses but also make it feel Home right when people move in. ... More

I was so excited about purchasing a home with Lennar but unfortunately my excitement was short lived once I signed my settlement and received the keys to my new townhouse. Immediately I noticed the poor craftsmanship of my new build it was like the builder rushed putting the house together. There were noticeable errors and issues throughout my home that I’m still working with customer care to fix (which is a nightmare within itself). I reached out to the builder to address the issues and we scheduled a time to do a walk through inspection of my home and he never showed up for the appointment nor did he reach out to let me know that he couldn’t make it or to reschedule. I can’t believe the unprofessionalism of the builder. I should’ve known that this process would be a nightmare once I was misled by the builder about the size of my lot and the backyard which is a lot smaller than what was originally told to me. Another issue I had was with the Lennar title team, somehow my home insurance was not included in my closing cost like it was suppose to be so I had to scramble to make sure that a payment was made so my policy would not be canceled. My loan officer was great but the negligence of the Lennar title team is baffling. I wish I would’ve did my due diligence before purchasing with this development. We love our new home and the entire process was easy and minimal stress

The complete new home buying experience with Lennar was positive and easy. Every Lennar representative was professional and courteous and communicated well. The home is beautiful and was offered at a great price.

Iam in loved with my home.

We were really involved with the building of our house from Day 1. We checked the construction progress everyday. We took a lot of pictures every step of the way and let the Building Manager know when we had issues. You're the buyer, take control!

We were and are excited about moving into the community of Ave Maria. Our purchase of the Ariaballa not so much! The quality and workmanship of this build has alot to be desired. Lennar was quick to take our money and when we notified them of the several issues it seems to have landed on deaf ears. From garage overhead doors that don't function, to missing trim, missing shower doors, several damaged and marked cabinets, and a long list of other items. Our suggestion would be to run as fast and far away from Lennar as possible!

Options available, during purchase I was not limited options.

We are happy to be in our new home! The community and surroundings are beautiful. There were several issues in the building process that needed immediate attention to fix. The customer is not in the loop. Our construction manager was helpful in resolving issues. The process to address home owners questions and concerns needs fixed. We will submit tickets to address our current issues. Providing home owner with touch up paint is a must. I’m bothered by paint issues every time I clean.

Great home in a great neighborhood. We can’t wait to see what the neighborhood grows into.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. Our only complaint was the quality of the painting contractor. His work was very poor.
