From closing to getting settled in has not been a good experience. On closing day painters were still touching up the paint. The cleaner was at my home mopping and left the floor so wet it looked like the top of a lake. Response to customer care has taken over a month to get items fixed. The appliances are cheap the workmanship in probably a 7 out of 10. Probably would not purchase another Lennar home.

Many defects found from day 1 with majority are related to flooring, finishing and garage concrete slope issues which are not identified and given an option to blue tape to us at the time of orientation. Customer service has mentioned that some of them are supposed to be identified before closing and are handled as per the warranty terms. I wish the construction quality is better.

During the inital viewing tour, I thought this experience was going to be amazing. The folks were eager to show homes but that is where the accommodations ended. The entire process was rushed and stressful. Although the home I purchased was unfinished I was unable to make any changes to the decor (i.e. carpet & home automation). During my final walk through & key turnover my home was not even cleaned. That said, I cannot comment on the craftsmanship specifically because my home has not yet had time to settle. Home has a lot of issues to fix, starting and not limited to essential things as foundation, flooring and walls. Communication has been overall decent, however follow ups has been completed due to some of the first issues reported are still pending. At this time, after 2 months of bought the house, several items to fix are pending.

You'll spend most of the process chasing people for answers, and then you might also get verbally abused by at least 1 Lennar representative. Our initial disclosures were sent within hours of the 3 day requirement passing. We were told that they would extend our closing date (due to reasons on our end), if we paid an additional $3K on the price of our home. They then proceeded to extend the closing date further due to workmanship issues. Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

Although i know that with any home there is no such thing as perfect, however, certain attentions to detail are clearly missing here. It definitely feels like quantity over quality. There were many things on our punch list that has still not been fixed. During our walkthroughs things were said they would be done personally by the construction manager that day, and they are still not fixed. Workmanship and customer service is awful. All they care about is getting the sale and not willing to make sure the customer doesn't regret dealing with them. Which I do! Buyer's Beware! If you are already locked into a sale, go thru the walk thru with a fine tooth comb, even if it takes all day. DO NOT CLOSE UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. Especially, crappy workmanship like trim work, painting, flooring, and insist they get all the paint splatter off the floors. The communication was horrible from start to finish. Painters were really bad. I’m a repeat buyer. My experience in Charlotte was awesome however in Hardeeville SC it was really bad. The quality and supervision was not there.

Lennar should work on improving construction quality. Builder’s quality check is a joke. Construction managers waits till the last moment or goes beyond closing of the house to perform the required corrections. As a result - rushed work and multiple iterations are required.

Floorboards don’t meet edge to edge. Carpets have staples popping out and not secure to the floors, drywall and paint left on and in between floor boards, paint on every baseboard of every entryway, shower tiles uneven, no grout sealant in showers, overuse and build-up of caulk, crown is cracked from top to bottom, line work from wall to crown to ceiling is uneven and spotty -ranging from not meeting to edge to crossing over onto the crown, paint on tile edges, center island ought to have sensibly been measured to a single top rather than molding two pieces together at what apparently was the ...

On day 1 we had a water leak because a pipe from the AC unit burst inside the house. Weeks of inconvenience and worry. The paint is already peeling. Issues with the washing machine and windows. Very sloppy workmanship with little or no supervision. There is more I could add.

The worst home purchase I’ve ever had(2 previous). Went to walk through and there were numerous issues with the home. Was told that if I don’t close once they received the certificate of occupancy I would lose my deposit. It been almost 2 months since I’ve closed and there is still incomplete work. Too much back and forth with their subs.

Lennar was very attentive and friendly UNTIL we closed . Since then nothing . Promises made and thus far not kept . This is a beautiful development and nice homes . It is a shame we can not get any one from Lennar to respond . There are finish details to fix , still no mailbox key . We are very disappointed .

There were many construction issues with the house whenever I did my final walk-through on 2/17, when the house was set to close on 2/22. As this community does not “blue tape“, I was asked to email all of the issues to the construction manager so that repairs can be made prior to closing. They set another walk-through for 2/21, at 4:30 PM. When I got there, most of the issues were fixed, but there were still plenty others that had not been addressed. Workmanship of all grouting was terrible. All shipping plastic on the shower basin was not removed and was caulked over the top and peeling off. Overspray of white paint on black cabinets. Many door trim finish boards were cut over an inch short and just caulked at the floor. Garage door floor area had to be floated because there were 1/2 gaps on both far left and far right sides of the door when the door was closed. If I could turn back the hands of times I would have never bought a home with this builder. My salesman David was to sum it up the worst if you get him run immediately. Tiffany my loan officer tried to get me to close on a house I wouldn't be able to take possession of just so they wouldn't have to redo paperwork. It's been a month my front lawn has fallen into the street my cabinet fronts are falling off, I have standing water in yard and they never relaid the sod so now its mud and weeds and they stripped it from the edges so the grass doesn't even meet the sidewalk. I had tenant moved into my new house with lots of issues, unfinished drywall paintings, big issue AC is still NOT working after moving into the house for more than a month, glad our tenant was tolerant. Tenants started complaining about noises on the pipes, glad it turned out be something small. This was my worst experience and appreciate if you can look into the issues, this is my fourth home, I am owning and never had any serious experiences like this with any other builder. Hopefully someone can focus on these issues and come up with a resolution soon

I will say that working with Logan, in the sales office was a pleasure. He was kind, informative, speedy, and helpful. So this doesn’t reflect on him.
