The only bright spot to my experience was my sales person Shawn, other than that my experience was awful. From Lenoir mortgage to the closing process to the inspection process to being forced to close without the home being completely done and still living with a huge punchlist. I will never buy from Lennar again I am also in our stockholder, and will be liquidating my stocks in the very near future. Very disappointed.

Horrible warranty dept!! Finish work deplorable!!

Erik the salesperson and Jaimee the site person are the only 2 Lennar people I give 5 stars. The warranty dept has been bad. The finish work is horrible. Hopefully things improve. Still no dishwasher after 6 weeks when they knew day one it had to be replaced. Hot water heater has been a problem from day one. Still don't know if you're getting a hot or cold shower. I understand the hurricane may have caused some delay, but this is ridiculous.

Waited on fixing items after closing and then informed me I had to go through the warranty side. Many items wrong are amateur items, holes in walls, paint on tile floor and rugs, knobs on kitchen cabinets don’t line up, sensors missing, openings in garage, a/c draining into the garage, weather stripping left off the external doors, house never cleaned and I could go on. Not one item has been repaired, it’s been 45 days. Talked to other owners and some of their problems are worse than mine and still waiting on repairs!

The construction manager did not closely monitor the work of any subs. They are basically just inputting requests and scheduling. The trim and painting on this house is the worst I have ever seen in new construction. Pages of followup needed.

We just purchased April 2020 and sold April 2022 a new build Lennar townhome in Prior Lake, MN, that experience was great. The attention to detail, commitment to follow here in Punta Gorda, FL is horrible. I booked a flight and the Lennar team was completely aware that I was flying down for a scheduled walk thru August 22 so we could close by the end of August. I walk in and could not believe what I was seeing, no appliances, vents not installed, no weather stripping on front door, garage floor not done, closet doors not hung, closet shelves not hung, filthy dirty outside and in. Will not purchase a Lennar home again

The lender was very non responsive - until I went with an outside lender, then they were in contact daily trying to get my business back. There were several problems in the house before and after closing, including shoddy workmanship and poor attention to detail. For example the house was clearly not cleaned before closing. To be fair, out of my list of about 15-20 items needing to be addressed they took care of just about everything timely and well done.

What's the sense of doing a walk through if the issues weren't addressed? I should have not believe the builder that they would be addressed after closing. It was also disappointing that Lennar did not provide a welcome or after closing packet with instructions. I will never buy another Lennar home.

Part of our floor was damaged and needs taken care of.Paint on doors and door frames wrong color-not fixed yet.Some drywall work needs to be done. touch up.Sliding doors need to be replaced.stove needs to be leveled.windows and screens need to be cleaned.Irrigation hasn’t been on in awhile.Might be more so I’ll have to look.Thank you.

Lennar was very pushy to use their mortgage company from the start, making the process super difficult when we decided to use our outside lender. We moved in in early August and different color cabinets were installed in the kitchen, still hasn’t been replaced. There’s rebar sticking straight out of the foundation above the grass. The sod next to our AC unit that we were told was going to be put in was never done. The AC didn’t work correctly for the first two weeks. I had to pay 500 dollars out of pocket to have an electrician come tell me the ground and neutral in my dryer power outlet ...

Horrible experience. If it wasn't for the good Floorplan we would have walked away! Very very poor workmanship. There isn't a wall straight in the house. No craftsmanship. Don't buy Lennar!

We moved hoping to have a peaceful retirement home. While our Salesperson was very knowledgeable and did her best with purchasing, Construction was terrible. Our cabinets were installed crooked, cracked, broken due to lack of skill which caused our Stone to be unlevel. Our hood vent never showed up so they borrowed one from a different model that didn't fit. Our light fixtures were cracked and broken along with our bathroom mirror and we had a broken window for 4 months. Many Workmaship/quality Issues

AC was replaced first week. Interior doors wrong size, warped and/or installed wrong. "LVP" that came with the home is NOT LVP...it's simply linoleum cut into strips...3mm thickness, and peeling up in areas. Corner of gutters leak. Landscaping never finished...sprinklers are laying on top of the grass shooting into the street or trees....weve been in the house 2 months. Garage door keeps popping when it opens, because it likely was installed wrong... wire reel assembling came unhooked so it would not close. Large patches in the walls where looks like the electrician or plumber had to go in to ...

Aaron was phenomenal and has done all that he can to try and make the best of an unpleasant experience; he has truly been the only Lennar representative who values customer service and should be moved into a position of higher responsibility. The remainder of our experience has been wrought with nothing but frustration with Lennar blaming trade partners, the market, etc. I would never recommend a Lennar home and we have purchased two in here last year with a similar experience.

The people we worked with have been great, the process of getting into the house was smooth. Then we moved in and discovered very poor workmanship throughout myriad details in the house, details that will ultimately cost us a lot of money and time to fix and/ or affect our resale value down the line. Poor builder quality

The quality of materials and workmanship is not that good. The construction was mostly rushed to finish up in the last 2 weeks with lot of open issues. 2 months after closing, we are still chasing the warranty team to help fix items that were open during closing. Compared with other builders (like Richmond or Toll Brothers), quality of home and service is inferior.

The only good experience from working with Lennar was our salesman Jarrett. Any time we had a question he would respond immediately respond. Our build was delayed by 5 months which I do not blame Lennar…that was Covid. A week before we moved in we had so many issues and were told by Eddie and the contractor Ming would be fixed before we moved in….a month in new house and nothing was done..had to do warranty claims. Cheap appliances, poor customer service.

In the beginning Lennar was very helpful obviously trying to earn our business and sell us a house however after moving in all the trouble started. Poor workmanship in the house, getting issues resolved took weeks, it is sometimes impossible to get someone to help you schedule repairs. Community is poorly managed, Lennar literally sells to anyone community is heavy investor properties which has led to many issues with compliance. New construction with poor quality

The paint job that was done in the kitchen and restrooms were of poor quality. Paint was splattered all over the floor and globs of paint were dropping on the wall. The construction didn't seal holes from the deck causing a lot of bugs to come inside the house, especially a huge trail of ants the first 2 weeks we moved in. When we did the inspection of the home prior to moving in to fix any mistakes, they missed it of what we marked off. They were supposed to fix all the mistakes but only did about 70% of them. Over 100 items that need repairs on a brand new home, painting, replacement windows, holes in bathtub, etc. I've been in the new house for months and can't get any traction on getting repairs done. I will never work with Lennar again and will never recommend Lennar to anyone. Very poor workmanship. Quality of work is a zero out of ten.
