My home buying experience was not pleasant. From the start representatives tried to force me to use Lennar financing and threatened that I could lose my deposit if I went with another lender. From there it got worse. My closings date was chosen by Lennar and it did seem like there was any coordination with the construction side. A week before closing I have my orientation and the electrical had not been tested so there were no lights or AC and the water had not been tested with we could do a proper walkthrough. The construction of a $500k home rates a Minus on our scale. Super delayed process that was poorly communicated. Stressful and limited communication during the build process. Obvious lack of supervision of poorly skilled workers. The home continues to present endless construction issues. Just wished this product was refundable .

There is no sound proofing between the ceiling and the neighbors floor above I hear everything that goes on upstairs!!!!! I made settlement in September 7th now I’m going to try and sell it hopefully no one reads this LOL !! It’s 2022 I shouldn’t be able to hear my neighbors upstairs. Lennar probably doesn’t care so here is your review

Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

Everything was delayed. The quality is pathetic. The responsiveness of the team is so below par. Overall I would not recommend Lennar at all.

It started as a great experience but quickly turned into a nightmare. Multiple issues during construction were never addressed.

Over valued. Had a list of work that was intended to be completed before closing and was never finished. Poor joints in the trim. Home wasn’t clean when we moved in. Exterior and interior paint not finished. Leaking plumbing. Wiring issues with garage doors. HVAC issues. Doors not hung properly. Loose exterior stone.

Terrible experience would not recommend to anyone

Terrible experience the base boards and the foundation of the home wasn't sealed. Some of the trims in the house have spaces and are uneven. Some areas of the house didn't get painted on the outside. So many gaps in the foundation of the home that bugs get into. Just horrible overall experience. I wouldn't recommend lennar to anyone.

For starters, their system for purchasing homes through a bidding process seems very greedy. At one pint they let us know of a home model we wanted but wanted us to offer more for it. Their policy was that the highest bidder won the home. It very much appeared we were the highest bidder but they wanted us to bid more, and then turned us down when we wouldn’t. They did this under the guise of forcing us to close on another home we made an offer in sooner (20 days)-in which the sales rep told us they had allowed others to swap homes if another model came out for bid. No response to my issues on the new home

I have several problems that I was not able to see by the virtual walk through, I was in Florida and now when I got to my new home, I see issues that I contacted Lennar Customer Service and have not heard one word from them. A large brick at the front of the house is not attached, There is a split in the paint at the corner of the wall leading to the master bedroom, the garage floor has hairline cracks, the stucko near the ring alarm is pushed in, the builders left a giant tub of mixed and dried cement in the garage. A few other items.

I feel the property was not ready for us to move into. I didn't receive mail for over a month because Lennar did not set things up correctly with the post office. My address still does not appear on google maps so it's hard to get deliveries. I'm here almost 2 months & my list of the 30-day repairs have still not been addressed. Not worth your time. They to get everything done. A lot of dings on all the doors, cabinets and cabinets doors. The material that they use is really cheap. They take t there time to come by the fix there mistake. Overall it has been not good experience for my wife and I.

Sales department was fine. Condition of my home was poor when I moved in. I scheduled some repairs but nobody showed up at the sheduled time. I spent my day waiting, finally somebody showed up late the afternoon took care of two simple tasks and left. no indication of when the important items would be addressed. I have waited to be contacted but have heard nothing. I will try and contact somebody today to find out the current status of my requests for service.

Once you close your house, they dissappear. Issues take them forever to get to. I ended up fixing things myself. Also lied to me saying they changed things on my house yet the houses under construction now have what was missing. They just didn't want to spend the time to get it right.

Loan officers are terrible if I was to do it again I'd use an outside mortgage company. Also don't use there insurance for flood and homeowners you'll get ripped off.I regards to length of construction time that went well . Addressing my punchlist items that went well.

The unit has all kinds of problems from plumbing , electrical, flooring, windows, paint marks and several tickets are already filed within 2 months of move in. It is unfortunate to see a brand new home have so many issues. It is definitely not worth the price that I would pay

As so may others, we moved here from out of state and waited patiently for the house to be ready. There is not enough room here for me to list all of things that were - and still are - wrong with this house. I am not referring to little nit picky things. I would like to have gotten the same quality of workmanship that was in the model home. I'm sorry to say that didn't happen and even though they made many many promises to make things right, I know that it won't happen. They only make money by building new homes, not by fixing their mistakes. It makes me sad to know that the quality is not getting any better and they really don't care.
