Quality was lagging as was completion date. A bit unfortunate but felt Lennar Corp was more concerned with getting our building closed out before the end of their fiscal year, vs. the quality of the product. That said, we knew coming in that quality was not what Lennar is known for so didn’t expect a custom/quality job to begin with. I feel most bad for folks like Arthur and Ron who are just executing the direction they are provided, often with limited control of the process.

Workmanship needs to be improved.

We’ve bought 5/6 homes from lennar we have always had a great experience with them I must say this time the Quality is just not what it use 2 b.

I didn’t have the experience I was expecting. Very poor work quality, materials are not the best, paint was horrible, etc.

Many things being fixed should not have passed quality control before selling which seems nonexistent. In a rush for profit they compromise quality placing the burden on the buyer to say something is wrong a position the buyer should not be placed in by a quality builder. A warranty is great but don’t sell a product that’s damaged. They are being responsive to correct and fix things so far unfortunately some of the contractors leave a mess the homeowner needs to clean up. Not sure if quality contractors are lacking which could be the case. The sidewalks in the neighborhood and driveways look extremely damaged to be fixed later by the developer but that’s loss time of enjoyment. Walk the sidewalks and see how bad they are. It’s ridiculous. They can do better but quality over quantity has taken a backseat. Heard good things about Lennar but this is not one of their better neighborhoods unfortunately. No reason for it not to be. Hold contractors accountable, create quality control prior to the sell, and stop damaging the concrete after its in place. It’s not rocket science. ... More

John and joe were great and easy to work with. A couple months after i lived in the home my water heater went out and joe had someone come out and fix it the next day

Lennar is the only way to buy a home!

The buying process was horrible. Worst experience ever. I’m active duty military and I would steer anyone from buying from Lennar if possible.

Houses are being put up really quickly and the attention to detail is suffering because of it. We are still waiting for repair of the landscaping that was damaged by contractors driving on our lawn, poor drainage at the end of the street which causes flooding and mud building up where adults and kids have fallen. Too many transitions within the warranty department and no notice of who the contact person is. Wood is chipped throughout the house, poor paint/caulking jobs, doors misaligned, residue from stickers left on the showers and tubs which are difficult to remove and uneven floor boards put down upstairs with the poor quality carpet just laying on top. I expected to have a better quality home for the price we paid. ... More

When we got the house it was not the same model and the restrooms were different. The material that they use for the shower is a waterproof Sheetrock and they glue a piece of Sheetrock to put shampoo on it and it did not stay that long , it fell the second time we used the shower and that happened to both restrooms.

Out of this world community. Traveled all over the U.S. and have never seen anything like it. Quality homes

The Customer Care follow up after the close is amazing.

Lennar's customer service is 5 Star + They are very attentive and listen to all your questions and concerns and do their best to solve any issues quickly. The quality of workmanship is great! A great company to work with!

Great company, great people

Overall, I am pleased with our new home, but as the months have passed everything cannot be blamed on a house settling. More attention or better materials need to be used on the steps. We have to repair the materials used to seal the sides of the steps. It almost looks like cracked caulking all the way up from level to level. I am not happy about that and it is an eye soar!

Lennar has chosen Quantity of homes being built over Quality of those Homes. While Lennar Sales team , Customer Support team and After Sale Support team are awesome, the quality of construction has gone down. It is also imperative to share that different Lennar entities like Lennar Homes, Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title are so disjointed, that left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Most of the people these days are buying Lennar homes for investment and don't care much about the quality of homes and the issues that are there in new Lennar construction. Mark and Connor made my Lennar experience very worth while. The customer Service team is very responsive to incident report.

Beware of continued delays and closing issues. Make sure to double and triple check all fine details before and ON closing final walk-throughs. Non-chalant attitude and attitude of ingratitude.

Builder wrote contract to where buyer was liable to pay for lot tax at closing but, issued a credit at closing for most of this cost IF the buyer used Lennar Mortgage. External Mortgage company could not make this $ amount up in credits in order to be competitive on closing costs.

Overall great experience with Lennar.

They made home buying process way easier. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

Lennar builds great homes, it’s the sloppy work of the construction people. I’m still removing white paint from our tile floors. Tacks coming up through the upstairs carpet and pricking our feet as we walk on it barefooted.

Everything Included is a great feature and the smart devices was an added bonus.
