The purchasing process was great. However once moved in, within days there were issues with appliances leaking, ants in the home, and difficulty getting issues resolved in a timely fashion.

We received our home about two months after the initial close date that we were told. We were told that our initial close date was possible because they already had the materials, therefore there wouldn't be a setback due to materials. About one month before we were set to close and after questioning the time frame, we were told that we misunderstood them having the materials - what they meant was they had the "purchasing power" to buy the materials. At this point it was 3 months after I signed the contract and price homes had gone up 20-30k so it made no sense to bail out and buy elsewhere - I was stuck and they knew it. My family and I were displaced while waiting on them. Fast forward to closing day, the house was extremely dirty inside. Dust everywhere, dirty mirrors... so they sent the cleaners back out the next day. Same result! Awful attention to detail - that's the project manager's responsibility to ensure their contractors are doing their job right because it's FOR THEIR CUSTOMER. As slow as the houses are being built there should be plenty of time to review the quality of the work being done. Problem is that the PM is too busy dealing with problems that the contractors are causing because the labor is cheap and cheap is what you get. Oh... they didn't paint the inside of the garage because "it's considered an exterior surface". So they use drywall on exterior surfaces? Yup, awful! ... More

I love my house . It’s a great house for me and my family

The Salesperson that sold us this house and our last home was excellent. GC was great goes out of his way to solve problems, but he shouldn’t have to deal with a lot of these issues as the subcontractors should do a better job. The materials and workmanship leave a lot on the table. I have sheet rock issues, walls have waves in them, ceiling where HVAC Vent is has seem cracking . Finish sanding work is horrible. The home was spray painted and many areas weren’t finish sanded but we’re still painted. Didn’t clean the floors or walls before painting and dirt in paint on finished walls. Some of the door moldings have small chunks out of them. Door sills had over spray with dirt in them. Silicone sealing is messy .Concrete floor under bathroom linoleum has a hump in it. Couldn’t hook up dryer vent as piping wasn’t installed right in wall. As purchasing a Smart home I have a big utility box in my Master bedroom . There are wires in the closet that seem to go no where as they are not hook up. As well as a orange tube hanging in it with nothing in it. Why have a huge utility cabinet for a smart home with nothing hookedup in it but 2 cable wires. Toilets were not siliconed to the floor and wound up with ants coming into house from under both toilets. We love are home and the people associated with the sale process and the GC goes above and beyond. But the materials and workmanship quality in this home are not what we expected. Lennar offered the best value for money home we could find, comparable homes from other builders were notably more expensive. No home builder is perfect, but we were/are very happy with our Lennar experience. Great home in a great neighborhood. Very happy.

We have been through several home purchases and this was one of the easiest. Good job all around!!

Overall experience is very good except response time for issues will be slower.

The home was well done and in the time originally specified. The home buying consultant went above and beyond in every way. Can't say enough good things about her. Construction manager was very responsive to a couple of issues we noticed on closing day. Coming to SC from Ca. we were delighted with the home and it's price. Overall we are pleased with the home.

We had many issues after closing with poor workmanship, faulty valves, siding , etc. The great part about Lennar is their customer service. Call or text , they answer in a speedy fashion and get the issues resolved in basically very little time. My personal experience is, the builder hurries to finish the house and be ready for move in and details are left out and fixed after move in but their customer service is great and saves the day :-)

Where to begin? When we started the process everything was on point and the communication with the seller was awesome. After we signed the contract in February they promised us the completion date was going to be between July and August. It wasn't until November that we finally got our home. The seller didn't even answer on time; sometimes I was ignored for days. Not even Lennar customer service was able to help me get the answers I wanted. No answer for the solar, the process, the delays... nothing. On top of that Lennar Mortgage was even worse; no communication at all!!! It was a painful experience from start to finish. Even at closing, my house didn't have all the doors in place. Caulkin, plumbing, painting, and flooring issues from day one. They even planted a dead tree in front of my house and it's still there. I have opened around 10 tickets since November and will keep doing it since every day there's a new minor issue with the home. I will never recommend anyone to buy from Lennar!!! ... More

Was not disclosed or discussed about having to pay flood insurance till nearing completion of home and heard first from other disappointed buyers that had it concealed as well till loan was ready to close on property. Lennar should have to pay the bill till FEMA updates the flood map and removes the requirements. Cost me over $800 per year. The scam was should be completed by FEMA by August 2021 to further deceive it could be resolved any day yet still not done

The community we selected does not offer the highest-end homes but the home is a great value for the money and serves its purpose for us. You will not be able to select any materials and you should be prepared to add lighting and other wiring for A/V and security systems which cannot be added during construction. If you want a pool, you will need to budget to re-locate the standard landscaping. Nothing is customized but that is advertised so if you can be happy with what's offered the home is a great buy.

He is a good listener, very patient, understanding and kind. The Contractor is awesome too and so is Micheal who is one call away if we need assistance in trying to get familiar with the new home and making sure we are happy with the new home. Yes! We were impressed at the speed our concerns were dealt with.

I've experienced nothing but issue after issue with the house. I'm averaging about two new issues per week ranging from Major appliances, flooring, cabinets, window coverings, HVAC, interior doors just to name a few.

It is a great home.

Everyone my wife and I have worked with on the Lennar team has been great. From our very first experience with the sales team, to using Lennar Mortgage, and the support team after move in has been a wonderful experience. We purchased the Aurora and this is a solid, and spacious home. As with any new home purchase there are things that come up after you move in but Lennar has always responded in a timely manner, and I'd even say gone the extra mile in taking care of repair items. I'd recommend Lennar to anyone looking for a quality home, and a great team to work with.

This is my first home...

We were given the opportunity to "punchlist" the home and many of the items were either unaddressed or the tape marks remained after we moved in. The craftsmanship was really poor, as well as the quality of materials. The project superintendent talked down to all of us on the buyer side, including arguing over a clear code violation until it had to be escalated above his head. It was very clear that the priority was speed to market and margin over any sort of pride in their work or customer satisfaction.
