I had a very unpleasant experience. I had bumpy walls that had to be redone after moving in. The frame had to be shaved off. Water leak from the kitchen ceiling after rain. Fireplace malfunction and not practical for use.

The only thing that kept the overall home buying experience from being lower than 3 stars was the terrific attitude, approach & demeanor of the salesperson Noreta. She was truly a blessing to work with. It is probably a bit too early to rate the experience as we are just 2 months in and still trying to settle some workmanship issues. However, this is the third home we've built (First with Lennar) and we have more issues in this home than the previous two combined. There are numerous gouges in trim wood work, flaws in vinyl siding, unfinished paint trim, gouges in kitchen cabinet shelves, missing USB receptacles and several other deficiencies. While our list of deficiencies is being addressed our trust that these will all be taken care remains low as how these matters could be accepted in the first place is not easily understood by us. In addition to those issues we decided to use Lennar Title Co., Mortgage and Insurance partly because of seller incentive but also thinking it would provide a more seamless flow. Nothing could be further from the truth! Chaotic, error prone and not seamless. Yes, it all worked out in the end but not without irritation & annoyance. Add to that the fact a manager from Lennar Mortgage called us on a Sunday while I was driving to talk about why we rated our mortgage experience so low. I told him a little bit but suggested he call back the next day after I reviewed my notes and was home. I called him later that evening & left voicemail with more detail. Never heard from him again. This is definitely the best option for a first time buyer.

Stay away from lennar, costumer service disappears the second you sign the contract. Furthermore they will lie to you about the build quality and potential issues the house might have until you have signed. Do yourself a favor and find a different builder.

A production builder but very good quality and materials wish they would let you pick out your own appliances though

I love my new home. The design flow and layout uses every square foot of space optimally which was one on the primary decision drivers for my purchase of a Lennar home.

Price was good. Included were ring and window coverings. Upgrades were good. Sales agent was helpful. Good location . Good quality.

Don't ever buy a house over the internet. I used my daughter for help, but my biggest mistake was not coming to Las Vegas myself. I had to buy the home as is, not thinking Lennar did not take care of this house. Its too many things to mention that is wrong with this house, but I'm paying for it now. Never Again !!!

Ask numerous questions and don’t assume anything. It is a process that needs to be heavily involved with decisions made, and read all materials available to know exactly what you are purchasing. It is not as easy as they claim it to be. Highly suggest home inspections prior to settlement.

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

My wife and I fell in love with Lennar's models and neighborhoods. The construction quality looked pretty solid as well. That said, we ended up going through 4 Lennar Realtors. Each worse than the last: we caught them lying, they'd yell at us, even manipulated the contract without our consent. There were several grievous actions we'd observed from the realtor team. When escalated to the regional manager, he only advised that perhaps I should get some education on how the home buying process worked. My personal realtor and I were dumbstruck by this response. Our final Lennar realtor didn't bother showing up to turn the keys over to us. There was no celebration for the event. I did catch him sneaking around the back to put the keys in a drawer. That way, he didn't have to see us. By that point, he'd already declined all my requests to meet in person. I spent the first official hour in the new house cleaning out debris and construction waste from the garage. After a frustrating month in the 'new smart home', along with several requests for assistance, I was finally informed nothing worked because the smart hub wasn't installed. We weren't even given keys to the locked smart hub area in the laundry room (still don't have them). No one can even confirm if we own the Internet Modem, or are renting it from Cox. We get conflicting answers. Circling back to our experience locking in the property: Lennar informed us we could buy in May and move in by August. So we sold our home and stayed in temporary housing. Lennar then chose to delay the sale of the property by 3 months to increase the price by $200,000. This was after we'd already paid $1000 down for a chance to purchase the lot and home. In the end, we found every aspect of the Lennar experience to be stressful, misleading and/or corrupt. Currently, the remaining construction defects are being addressed by Lennar blaming the contractor and the contract blaming Lennar. And we're stuck in the middle. Unfortunately, our latest Lennar customer associate is incredibly lazy and difficult to deal with. Like I said, beautiful homes. Absolutely dismal customer experience. ... More

I recently bought a home with Lennar and it was a horrible experience all around. Worst customer service but I could have been ok with that had the workmanship been up to par however when I did my walk through cabinetry molding was literally hanging from the ceiling, floors were the wrong color, tack strips were completely exposed under the carpets resulting is blood being drawn multiple times from stepping on them, no appliances or hot water, and that’s just to name a few of the many issues found just based on workmanship. When confronted with the obvious poor work we were met with “this is normal” and “you can only expect that level of workmanship from a full custom home.” If I could go back in time I would never work with this builder again mainly because they refuse to even make things right. I understand things happen but when you gaslight a customer and refuse to fix the mistakes made that speaks volumes about a company. ... More

No opportunity to make changes. Why does a home with two garage doors come with only one garage door opener.

The builder's sales team did not respond to buyer needs and concerns. The construction manager was only interested in getting home to close, not in correcting any problems, raised by buyer. Attitude of sales staff was "take it or leave it, too bad."

Our salesperson was great. The loan folks were good enough. The construction delivery date was moved around, both later and then earlier. Created confusion, especially when the home was not ready after moving the date earlier. There were many issues identified with the construction that have yet to be resolved over two months after moving in. Poor follow-up. We don't recommend this builder.
