The amount of options included in the build is amazing. Crown molding. Wood floors. Windows everywhere. Square footage.

The home itself is beautiful and the quality is impressive and everything we wanted. The buying and financing process was a non stop headache of poor communication and blatant deception. Supply chain issues and construction delays are very difficult to handle especially since they are not properly communicated. Waited 4 weeks for an essential steel beam to be delivered just to wait two more weeks for work to start again after delivery. Throughout that entire time the Lennar team blatantly lied about delays and timelines. We love our finished home. Would not recommend anyone building a new ...

The home was rushed to complete before the end of February 2022 so that Lennar could pump up delivery reports to shateholders

There were too many defects and incomplete issues with the home when we had a 2 hour orientation. Instead of being able to pay attention to the orientation we spent the time placing blue tape and could’ve used many more hours. One the final acceptance walk a week later it was better but still needed more than the 2 hours allocated to mark. Issues. It was clear that Lennar project managers failed to provide quality control of their vendors and also failed to inspect and make punch lists before we inspected the home expecting Us to do that. Closing delays, could not find out what the cause was. Reached sales manager and got the usual answer, everything is blamed on COVID effecting supply's. Everyone I spoke to appear to be following a script in answering my questions. Finish work is below average, crack in garage floor (told it was normal) at first walk thru. Large gaps in crown molding and base board corners, caulk is already cracking and I will need to repair. (Lennar's answer as always is its in spec) The upstairs HVAC return air duct was not installed at the time of the first walk thru, completely missed by construction ...

The workmanship and cleaning is not good as expected, the design changes were not informed and when asked, no good responses. Lot of gaps, nail spots in wood works, didnt provide a great feeling of job well done ! .. The trust about the builder went down !

Lennar does a good job of informing you of the home buying experience: no changes, no alterations, no need to haggle over additions, etc. You get a walk through of the model home which was mostly, but not totally, identical to the finishings and workmanship of your soon to be home. The selling agent was very friendly, knowledgeable and overall helpful through the process. The mortgage agent, although we didn't end up going with them because of other issues, was quite good and would even consider using them in the future. We purchased a model (Prescott) that Lennar did not model on-site at the community we were buying in. Therefore they used a virtual 360 Tour online to let us “walk through” the home virtually. They assured us that the online tour represented the home accurately. The tour showed several high-end structural options in the home such as a gorgeous butlers pantry with glass faced cabinets, and dual shower heads/controls in the master shower, as well as tray ceilings in several rooms. Closing was pushed four times due to labor and material shortages which is understandable but they were only concerned about their ability to close on their schedule and had little or no concern for our schedules as we were flying in from out of town to do the final walk through and close We spent lots of time and money changing flight and hotel and rental car plans. I would not buy. a other Lennar home due to this experience. No options for anything. We are building our new home in Babcock ranch with another builder

My direct experience with Lennar has been quite good, with exception to their finance crew. There have been a few issues with the house, but all have been remedied.

The house is fine. The lending process with Lennar is a complete nightmare. It's never good when I'm forced to threaten with legal action while dealing with a loan officer. The closing date was stalled for 4 days due to Lennar's ineptness in this matter. I would definitely recommend using another finance group if you can get a decent rate.

They do not check houses, appliances, smart devices, etc. enough before closing. They think it is best to just wait for the buyer to complain after closing, and then they try to be “customer friendly” but they are usually too busy to take care of the many problems that should have been taken care of before closing, Most appliances our of the lower value.

Horrible week of closing experience

The week of closing was the most stressful week of my life. When I came for my walk through it was clear that no one on the Lennar side had even went inside for a minute to check things before I arrived. I was there for two hours pointing out issues. I have two young children and I was on my hands and knees feeling the stairs and felt dozens of exposed staples. If my daughters were walking on the stairs they would have gotten hurt. We had lots of issues…during framing we saw missing walls and closets. Holes made in the subfloor as well. After move in, it’s been a constant battle of fixing roof leaks, plumbing leaks, and workmanship issues. We wish we never bought this house.

Beautiful Home But No Follow Through on Issues After Closing

Lennar is a great company to work with during the building process, however, after closing, it's difficult to get ahold of anyone in Lennar to resolve issues in the house. The tech support department Lennar contracts with (Lumiere) is phenomenal. However, we had some issues with the home (still unresolved) and our concern keeps getting passed around. There's too many people working for Lennar with no clear contact or who to direct issues to. No resolution yet at the time of this review.

Lennar - They put a lot of pressure to close on a date in which only Lennar

They put a lot of pressure to close on a date in which only Lennar Mortgage can comply with date. I did try to use other mortgage bankers but with penalty of $5,000 if they did not meet the closing date I was forced to use Lennar Mortgage, which by the way did not offer the best interest in comparison with others.

Lennar - Unfortunately many things in this home feel slapped together.

Unfortunately many things in this home feel slapped together. The decisions made on things like where to put the pocket lights and where to position the AC unit show just how much the building team is thoughtless in their approach, which makes the home feel ... clunky. The materials used are the cheapest possible. From decking material that my child regularly gets splinters on to paint that literally rubs off when you get the wall wet, I would not say the quality of materials stands up to the price tag.

Very disappointed with solar. 3 months after moving in and solar not activated. Lennar tells me that I need to call Sunova and XCEL. None of my neighbors who moved in at the same time had to call anybody and their solar was activated months ago.

Frist time buyer experience was extremely stressful. I felt like I was being bullied for using my own Lender which I had stressed using from the beginning. Hone feels like it was just thrown together. I've already had to tighten up cabinets, toilet paper rack fell off, had to purchase extra power for garage, no gutters included so rain just runs o to porch, super small garage.
