I have been very pleased with my home buying experience! I love my house! Any issues I have had (and they have been very small ones) have been taken care of quickly and completely. The neighborhood is great, all neat and clean, the houses so pretty. So glad I bought a Lennar home!

Worth the money. Don’t get a loan through Lennar. Save more else where. Never see a person. Everything on line.

The builder workers are good help.

I have had a very disappointing experience with the responsiveness of Lennar to issues. I called out issues weeks before closing and it took until 6 weeks after closing to start addressing them, some are still not done. Brianna is great but the rest of the team is non responsive and gives updates that do not materialize.

We purchased a spec home, so, we had no choice in our finishes. We wanted to push settlement by two weeks which Lennar would not allow. However, when we settled there were many items not finished in the property. They could have used the two weeks to complete the work. The painting, caulking, tile work etc. were not professionally done. Our contractor who we met at the final walk through was good. He was responsive and helpful. However, there are several items that were on the list to be completed or replaced that have not been completed. We have been here for 4 months.

Our experience was fantastic just want to make a note here if you’re buying a house make sure the other neighborhood houses are finished also construction is quite noisy and disruptive

I am very pleased with my new home, from my first contact with Eldy, Brian, Linda, Michael and Bret, everthing went smoothly, they are all exceptional employees. The home is very well done with great fixtures and appliances. I am happy to have blinds and screens and a great landscaped yard.

While I appreciate the efforts of the folks we've worked with directly, there is so little quality oversight. They are building these as quickly, and as cheaply, as possible. There is an apparent lack of quality in virtually every element of the construction. A month in and we have massive cracks in the drywall, drainage issues, paint issues, door issues, electrical issues, HVAC issues...

The entire process was smooth and I was informed very early on regarding a few closing date changes due to the shortages. Overall, I’m happy with Lennar and their team have been very helpful throughout each step of the way.

My experience as a first time home buyer was great. All of my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. Lennar mortgage made the process easy to get pre approved and receive a final approval in time for closing. The overall building experience with the construction manager Joe made this experience stress less. He kept me abreast of realistic timelines throughout the building and notified me expeditiously when delays were foreseen. The quality of materials used to build my home makes me comfortable and confidence that I made the right decision to build with Lennar. I absolutely love my new home and would recommend anyone seeking to build their new home with Lennar. Overall a great buying process experience!

It was a rough experience from the start. We had a sales man that was just that a salesman. It was tough to get updates because he has to constantly wait on someone else. It would be beneficial once locked in to be able to speak directly with the construction manager as there was a lot of inconsistencies. Even after telling them of the issues with the home early on, on the final walk through these issues were still present. Timeliness to get things fixed is practically having to stay on top of them because there is no action otherwise. It’s sad, the home itself the floor layout we fell in love with. But the whole process for us was a nightmare. From start to even now. We still have issues that are not corrected and it’s sad to say. To top it off, it just seems like bandaids or excuses for how things are. We were constantly told there is no issue for them to come back and say oh there is something missing because we had to continually press on the issue saying it’s not working properly. They should take faults in things that are done incorrectly and not try to cover it up with excuses. For a company that everything is included, customer service is not one of those things. ... More

Lennar is a very different home build experience than most others. They pre-plan all the design and finishes. On 1 hand, it's kind of a bummer to have a new build and not have as much say in what finishes are in place, but it reduced my stress in not having to make those decisions. Had I had the ability to have some say, I may have chosen different options than what was pre-planned, as some of the smaller things (bathroom mirrors/hooks/holders) seem on the lower quality side, but other things were on the upgraded side, like the windows. Since everything is preplanned, the amount of time it takes for them to finish a home is so much faster. I picked out the home I wanted in May, before they even broke ground on the lot and I was moved in the first week of November--despite all the challenges of product shortages and back-orders in 2021!! They were extremely creative in finding workaround for the products they had difficulty procuring, and my cost for the home did not go up from the time I was offered the home/lot in July, to signing the contract, to closing in November. There were no surprise fees or costs. I went through this process without the help of my realtor (which I wouldn't do again), but I don't feel like we lost out on anything or was at a disadvantage without a realtor. Overall, I'm very happy with the process and my home. My home consultant(s) kept me in the loop all the way and was very good at maintaining communication and answering my questions or concerns. My husband was stationed out of state with the military during the last few months our home was being built and throughout closing and move-in and my consultant helped to make the process as easy for me as possible. The project managers have been very attentive and all have checked in a few times over the past couple months since our closing date. ... More

The initial homebuying experience was decent, and the sales team was helpful throughout the process. However, I will say I've had trouble getting a response to questions or help with issues with the home since closing day. When kindly asking the sales office who I should talk to about my gutter mysteriously overflowing in light rain weeks after moving in, I was told multiple times it wasn't Lennar's problem before finally being given information on how to make a claim with the home warranty. The claim was denied by the home warranty stating it's a "homeowner maintenance issue," despite literally just moving in. Lennar has since offered to help address this issue, but I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved weeks later. I am still finding random paint splatters & scratches missed in the walkthrough, and now after less than 2 months of living here I'm seeing cracked grout & splitting seams, AC unit leaking a large amount of water, etc. For the price I paid for my first home, I expected higher quality materials and more pride in craftsmanship. I will probably avoid buying from Lennar again in the future. ... More
