The construction and quality of build was exactly as expected. The financing promised was misleading and in the last 30 days before closing I was forced to find a new lender. The recommended “sister” company handed things off to a new associate who constantly asked for items he already had access to. Additionally they blatantly lied to me regarding their efforts to verify employment which delayed underwriting who then changed the loan terms right before closing costing me around $10,000 over the life of the loan. My advice is to find your own financing and avoid the headache.

Honestly for a new home it wasn’t the worst but I definitely had to stay on top of things after moving in. They missed a bunch of stuff. The contractors they use are garbage. When putting in tickets to get things fixed that they messed up on or didn’t do it’s like pulling teeth.. had to put multiple tickets to get things done. Horrible customer service. Even the guy who is suppose to take care of things talked to me like I didn’t know anything and I had to put in another ticket just to get him to fix it.. they ruined my lawn and only half fixed it and told me they weren’t going to fix it ...

The homebuying experience was rough. First, we were not allowed to use an agent, which made me feel at the mercy of Lennar when going through the process. Second, our home concierge was terrible. She would update us on the status of the house late in the night. On inspection day, the house was not ready and had to reschedule after we were already present at the appointment. Finally, they moved our closing date only a few days after were expected to close and put up a fight after we requested to close two days after the proposed closing date. We felt very rushed through the entire experience, Lennar mortgage dropped the ball on numerous occasions and left us wondering if the transaction was going to close. Loan process was good..home buying agents did not tell the truth and lead you to believe false home releases. The Good: Lennar is a quick builder. The Bad: The home quality is not the best. There are some things done great, like the master bath and the gourmet kitchen. However a gourmet kitchen consist of a gas range top and a stainless exhaust hold. And the gas top was left unmounted and slid around the first time we cooked on it. Had to have that fixed properly. They rush and hire whatever subs are cheapest for the budget. people get paid by working fast, not better. and so theres lots of errors or crappy workmanship garage still had dent in it. they painted front door because it had a dent, but in doing so got some paint on the door handle. I had a very bad experience , the sales agent doesn't responsive and they cut down the price drasticallly next day i signed the contract, and i requested to give me some upgrades or adjust to compensate to that but they are very rude, and the loan clearance asked certian documents which took little while to get and they scared us if you dont close the home on the day you will be fined $300 per day . The loan process was a complete nightmare! We literally showed up to closing and were told that our loan had not had its final approval and had to wait an additional 3 hours for them to get it figured out. Lennar hasn’t made this a great experience from the beginning. Why not just hire a company to do things right the first time, right? Our home needed many repairs right away, and it took quite a few attempts to get it corrected. We had taken multiple days off of work, to have nobody show up to our house to fix the issues. The closing was also less than expected. They were still asking for us to submit documentation post closing.. sounds like they didn’t have their ducks in a row-right? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a house.

Got a 2 story new home it's 1,950 square feet and they installed a 2 1/2 ton unit that does not cool properly the way it should they have gone out 4 times and still can't find solution and they know that the problem is that the unit is to small for house doent cool it at all down stairs till this day they haven't resolved anything and it's been over a month!!!!
