I had a very bad experience , the sales agent doesn't responsive and they cut down the price drasticallly next day i signed the contract, and i requested to give me some upgrades or adjust to compensate to that but they are very rude, and the loan clearance asked certian documents which took little while to get and they scared us if you dont close the home on the day you will be fined $300 per day . I dont recommend to any of my frienda

Loan process and move in expectations.

The loan process was a complete nightmare! We literally showed up to closing and were told that our loan had not had its final approval and had to wait an additional 3 hours for them to get it figured out. Mind you, this was after we were told the previous night at 8:30 that we were good to go. No one called us to let us know of the rescheduling either which is completely unprofessional. We also had to continuously provide the same proof of funds over and over and over again. Lennar hasn’t made this a great experience from the beginning. Why not just hire a company to do things right the first time, right? Our home needed many repairs right away, and it took quite a few attempts to get it corrected. We had taken multiple days off of work, to have nobody show up to our house to fix the issues. The closing was also less than expected. They were still asking for us to submit documentation post closing.. sounds like they didn’t have their ducks in a row-right? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a house.

Got a 2 story new home it's 1,950 square feet and they installed a 2 1/2 ton unit that does not cool properly the way it should they have gone out 4 times and still can't find solution and they know that the problem is that the unit is to small for house doent cool it at all down stairs till this day they haven't resolved anything and it's been over a month!!!!

I was so excited to find a new Lennar Home for sale in Lockhart, Tx. I had a great experience when I'd previously purchased a new build home with Lennar in 2013 in Austin Tx. This time; however, my experience was highly disappointing. I've had multiple issues in my new home to include a significantly broken piece of wood trimming out my garage door that was simply nailed on and painted over. I've been advocating to have the inside of my garage door trimmed out, where there are two inch gaps running down the sides and in the corners. We had a great time finding a home that was almost completed with Damon. After that we talked with a few good finance people to get the loan paperwork done and approved. Our home buyer conciere we only had one conversation with him and couldnt get ahold of him for anything really. We did have a few issues with the home and it took many tries to get things fixed for us and some things i just had to take care of myself because i was tired of trying to keep up with the constant follow up on warranty things.

Do not use Lennar financing. Didn't offer any other products except 30 year for a 1 month bridge loan. Cost me several thousand dollars fir a point ad closing cost. Have your own financing Finding several cosmetic issues that need fixing. Response time for mediacom for an internet problem caused by chesapeak was awful Gourmet kitchen has no pull out drawers No ceiling fans or towel racks installed with spec house. Lennar was very difficult to work with... Many of the documents were incorrect. We did not use Lennar Mortgage or Lennar Title because of the issues. We are still receiving an alert to sign an incorrect document in the portal even though we closed August 23rd. Thankfully, our renter is just moving in this weekend. The final issues were just resolved and our walk-thru was August 5th. We still have a leaky toilet which will be repaired tomorrow.

A lot of promises to get us in the house. No one knows what the right hand is doing through the whole process. Lack of communication with sells people to loan officer to contractors! Signing day shows up and no one from Lennar was there, called them and they said it’s normal for us not to be there for signing day that the title company will walk you through everything you need to know! Promise us some of our closing cost back and said, oh in the middle of your contract the state changed your closing cost and we can’t give you back your money! Should have had an attorney with us!

Lennar home quality and my experience

The finish work on Lennar homes is sloppy and the materials used are cheap. I have had to replace 4 lights in the 4 weeks I have lived in the brand new home because the lights are of poor quality. The front door is already coming apart and the dishwasher has a work order in to be repaired. The upstairs floors pop when walking across them. The materials used in Lennar homes are inexpensive and will not last the life of the home. I will have to spend my own money to replace all of the recessed lights because they are bad quality. These are things that should not be breaking in a brand new home.

Only good experience was the sales consultant. After that it was very bad. At Lennar Mortgage I had numerous different contacts throughout the process, they did not know where the other left it off. Same for home delivery, concierge and other unaccounted number of individuals. You try to make it buying a standardized process with specialized people in for everything. But eventually humans buy your product and they want to be cared for by humans. Purchased a brand new home recently. My wife and I moved in and had a list of things that were not finished on the home after closing. Took a month a several phone calls to resolve. Refunds took weeks to issue and several phone calls! Then the biggest issue of all my property was damaged by construction next door after I took possession. No regard for my property at all! This was a horrible home purchase experience. It was hard to get a person to call you back. We had to do a virtual closing and it was awful, the first person we called at the Virtual Closing hung up on use when we didn't get connected fast enough. Then we had to find someone at Lennar who could tell how to get back into the Que since this was already paid for by Lennar. We couldn't ask any questions because it was just the notary on the call. Our first homebuyer experience could have been much better had the sales team been much more responsive and kept us up to date on the status of the home. We missed out on the initial home we wanted due to the first sales person, Sheri, not responding to us in a timely manner. The sales team has completely gone wrong on day1, They gave wrong info on which are basement lots and which are slab homes and completely messed up the sales during 1st week. The Mortgage team communication was worst as they did not give the loan estimates in time and just don't respond to customer calls. The quality of construction is worst and not up to mark of Lennar. Overall Lennar failed to deliver a quality product from sales to finish line!!
