Lennar has been telling dates that they themselves know they can't achieve. They have been changing dates after signing the purchase agreement. This is a malpractice. They still don't have nay control on their supply chain or vendors. They have been cutting corners on quality.

This is my second Lennar home. Simply pick the house you like. They sales rep will show you what lot it can be built in and the details of the home cabinet color etc. Lennar has its own Morgage and insurance company with the best prices. Come back in 5-6 months to move in, okay I drive by weekly but I didn’t have to I was just amazed at how fast and smooth the process was. If I get relocated for work I will build a Lennar home again!!!

We are close to the age of retire now, we don't want to spend the time to take care the lawn any more, so we decided to sell our single home and looking for the townhouse that is not too far from my work in Riverdale, MD. We put a contract to one townhouse (15 years old) in Lanham, but this townhouse did not pass the inspection, and the owner did not want to fix it. So we got our deposit back. Then we saw the advertise online about Lennar Townhouse in Beltsville, the unit was process to build and the same price as the old townhouse, but we need to wait for 6 or 7 months to be build and finish. We were not in the hurry so we stopped by the Lennar Townhouse office, toured the model home and we fall in love with the model home, and signed the contract and waited for 6 or 7 months to complete. Now we are happy to live in our new townhouse, everything new, close to work, and close to Mark Train station. We sold our single home within a week after we moved out, and put a new paint and new carpet for the whole house. I got the money from sell the old house and paid off this townhouse, so we don't need to worry about the monthly payment. Plus we do not need to take care our lawn any more because HOA will take care for us. Now we just focus on our job and take vacation as much as we can without worry about who will take care our house and our lawn. That is my story! ... More

Overall experience has not been pleasant. From the sale process to the closing process and then to moving in has not been pleasant. The sales process was not transparent when we were on the waiting list. When we were walking through, we were not comfortable with the construction manager asking us if we expect everything to be perfect! When closing the worst has been Lennar Concierge who never once responded to our queries- this has been the worst experience. When we moved in, AC was not working, doors started to creak within a week and we did not appreciate the fact that we had to install and program the Ring and the Garage opener. And overall the quality is basic compared to the price. Overall not pleased with the experience at all buying from Lennar or Lennar product. Mostly is what I expected from Lennar's good reputation. Their mortgage brokers and its department need lots of improvement, not for this, Lennar would have received 5 stars instead of 4 stars from me.

Had to bid on purchase price vs buying at set price. Home has a lot of good features with solar, sound system, fire system, wired for internet, plenty of lighting, have plenty of parking,

Move in was delayed due to not passing inspection for foundation. Was delayed 2 months and due to scrambling to move the date back up after we were told it would be a 3 months delay we was forced to pay a per diem fee while we waited for the appraisal, since they moved the move in date up on us last minute

I’ve been overall pretty disappointed with Lennar throughout the entire home buying process, even afterwards dealing with issues that continue to arise. As I ask around, I hear more and more how Tampa area Lennar has a bad reputation and I wish I knew that coming in.

It’s a great experience going with lennar. Manager(linden) was so helpful and he explained each and everything. We are so happy with hima and lennar.

When you’re spending this much money on a brand new home, you don’t expect to have to do 2-3 months of repairs right when you move in, but that’s what had happened with us, even though we have been discussing these issues, and bringing up issues as the house was being built. Not only was our home delayed and not done correctly, the craftsmanship was HORRIBLE, and no one showed up to our closing. Lennar did not follow their own schedule that they sent us for closing, did not communicate when they didn’t show up for their own set appointments, warranty never spoke to us, even after rescheduling twice. When we brought up issues after having our lawyer finally complete the move, they pushed us off to warranty, who had been ripping our brand new home apart, trying to fix the garbage work that’s been done through the home. They seem totally overwhelmed with the amount of work that it is taking just to bring the home up to Lennar standards, and don’t have warranty crews that have the know how to fix these issues. Some of the things we have had to fix are cracked tub, massive bubbles in the wall-ceiling joints, 6 screws sticking out of the carpet (that sliced my daughters foot wide open), the carpet has been ripped up and never reattached or replaced, the front door had a huge gap underneath it, they have redone the master toilet room 3 times because the framing was so bad and was also missing a window (!!), the kitchen faucet was not ever attached correctly so it spins around, attic access in the attic never had a cover, bathroom plumbing not to code and leaked, bathroom vanity was completely smashed in the back near the plumbing (they didn’t cut out a hole they just took a hammer and smashed a hole so that the incorrect plumbing could come through), concrete is stained in weird crazy patterns on every piece (porch, sidewalks, driveway, back patio), and believe it or not the list goes on and on with the horrible sheetrock job, all of the ceiling joints ripple throughout the house, the nail pops, the handrails had to be replaced because they were digging into the walls and not flush, every outlet was so loose and crooked that you couldn’t plug things in, doorknobs were loose and several doors wouldn’t even latch because they were hung incorrectly. It has truly been a disaster moving in to a house with such horrible craftsmanship. Our contractor didn’t know what he was doing, when we would try to discuss anything with him he would just say what he thought we wanted to hear, and then do nothing. I feel that warranty has done their best to try to rectify the situation, she has been working hard and really is the ONLY person that I feel has had our backs. Everyone else seems to act like we the homeowners are causing them stress and headache, but it is not us the homeowners that built this mess. Great deal business with lennar

Quality of work in building home was poor, seems certain trades are about quantity not quality when it came to building home.

We had months of delays relating to windows. Not an issue caused by Lennar. After move in multiple issues to get fixed and I have currently been without water in my kitchen for over a week. Island countertop had to be replaced and I still have no water. Very displeased. All other issues taken care of better than this. Taylor was great to work with, but the subcontractors are horrible.
