Did not contact you on the phone to ensure you want to lock in your rate. Only contact made was all through email. Made changes to the floor plan after signing and completed a final walk through. Baseboards cracking.

1. The drainage systems in the Edge of Auburn are terrible. I feel ripped off on my yard. It could have been avoiding by grading the land. 2. Concrete cracks 3. Weeds and bugs everywhere 4. Land developers are taking forever to install street lights and dog trash bins 5. Hotwire communications is terrible

We got a lot of square footage for the money and a nice-sized lot. Some nice material selections and others not so much. Still waiting for punch list items from the closing (2 months now) to be addressed. Reached out to my contact and haven't heard back. We used to own a Truland Home (before DR Horton bought them). Lennar doesn't come anywhere close to that quality or experience.

Completing the purchase was very touchy, and communication was not the greatest. Now that we are in the home, we are having to move back out due to the flooring issues, and this has made me question the workmanship in other areas of the house. The Customer Sevice representative has been very helpful, but this process is still less than desirable and leaves doubts.

Our closing date has been moved and no proper communication and the delay of everything though the documents has been submitted a couple months back before closing date. Travelling all the way from WI to CO for closing in bad weather and information on cancellation due to underwriting delays and the Sales responsibility and each of the persons involved was very concerned. The response of delays and the way staff communicate was not good . It’s kind of staff answering like you take or leave the agreement for the conversations which we have concerns about the insurance. It was overall pathetic ...

Home buying process with Lennar lender was not smooth lots of back and forth. Quality of home is just ok. Considering the amount of HOA fees I would expect some community amenities but there are none.

Inexperienced Buyers Beware!

First and foremost, I like my Lennar house. I liked the interest rate and the FHA down payment. As for Lennar, I have little respect for them as a company. They offered me an in person closing, then denied me one. They promised a small amount of touch up paint, then denied me one. Lennar homes are build with the cheapest materials available, by the cheapest labor possible, and with no evident skill or pride in the finished product. Won't service bad sod!!

Sod was laid dominant at the time. Once growth began weeds popped up. I was told nothing could be done. Also the sod was supposed to be rolled and two after close still not done . When the lawn service cuts they are making ruts and tearing up loss sod. Ruining the lawn!!

Lennar should be more than a regular construction company, as one of the best or the best in the country. We bought a Model house, good and bad, good that come with some upgrades that we cant get in other regular house, now the bad part is some of the stuff that is not correct or damage ( you name it ) cant be fixed BECAUSE IS THE MODEL WE DONT DO , this is ridiculous excuse, we pay more almost 100k for the same house as the others and get used / old stuff ... lennar REP very bad attitude, I'm not recommend to anyone else.

Not the best experience with builder mortgage processing

The home purchase was the builder closeout of remaining homes for sale, so everything was already picked out and the remaining homes were more like spec home with minimal options added. The process with the builders mortgage dept. was not a smooth process by far. After initial contact with loan officer all seemed to start well, but short lived. There were numerous times from just 2days in to the process & regularly thru-out the process many delays waiting for a call back, unknown where we were in the process, misinformation being sent and then only after attempting to fulfill and prepare ...

Nobody answers the calls or messages after their step completes. Their simple response is I dont know.

The Lennar team lacked communication. Any time we had a question it seemed like no one made time to respond or help us out unless they needed something from us; like sign a document or process a payment. Everything felt rushed and they wouldn’t accommodate to simple request we had during the closing process. Very satisfied with the house I bought, just disappointed in some of the communication skills.

Building with Lennar was the absolute worst experience. The home was 5 months late. No ability to change or pick out anything. I call it the Walmart of new homes. You get what you pay for

Disaster all the way through. I really believe Lennar failed in every aspect. And from now, the house is already falling apart. All baseboards have left the wall. Outside panels are peeling back. Incredible. The finance side of this I could write a novel on how bad it was. Absolutely unacceptable.

-Buying process was painful and the price on the contract didn’t match the verbal price we were told. -Early on during a scheduled visit, I noticed the wrong bathtub and shower was installed. It took a month of nagging to get someone to confirm that the wrong shower was installed. This ended up causing a 3 month, last minute delay of our home being built. -the sheathing on my roof has about a 5 inch gap on it. I assumed a vented roof cap was going to be installed. Sloppy work

Things were not finished by closing date and after was a hassle to have them finish them. At closing, they try to say you might get the keys but maybe the following day which is absurd and not funny to bring out music box with celebrayion music. Poor workmanship, rushing through and sloppy. The construction crews start working at 630am with no consideration to owner already living in neighborhood.

So there’s a reason all the inspectors have a running joke about Lennar homes- because the blue tape walkthroughs are a joke. An entire cabinet in my kitchen is currently cracked completely in half. They installed it that way! The paint on my walls chips off if a fly lands on it. The workers are loud, messy, and lazy. There’s no standards on who they will hire as long as they do it fast, Lennar doesn’t care. My lawn is full of sunflowers from workers spitting seeds everywhere and construction trash is constantly in my yard. The “landscaping” is awful- the 3 bushes they planted are completely ...

We have had a bad experience. There has been several several issues with the house. Constantly calling portal for repairs. Taking time off from work. I think homeowner should be more involved in building process when it comes to upgrades or choices for their house. Honestly i don’t think i would buy another Lenar home after this experience. I am still dealing with issues.

Very poor Quality and Workmanship

First did not fine Arthur trust worthy. Chris the superintendent of the Veranda condos wasn’t to interested in overseeing the initial construction and stated a few times that things would be corrected during the 1 st. Year by filling out repair work orders. I have been in the construction industry and management during my career and have never seen such poor quality . I would sure like to speak with someone as I could offer valued services to Lennar.

Make sure to not give lennar builder money. As a deposit is not really a deposit and is non refundable even if they say they will refund it.

We looked at the property the first week in February 2024. There were some issues we were promised would be completed at the time we looked at the property, for instance, the shrubs out front were dead and we were told that there is a 1 year warranty on the shrubs and that they would be replaced in the spring. We have now been in the house 6 weeks and called the HOA and were informed that they were not listed on the inspection report and that it was our responsibility to replace them. Also the cable was never completed throughout the house, Verizon said the builder never completed the fiber ...
