We closed on the house 2 months ago. We couldn't live in the house for most of the first month because AT&T, who is the only supplier of internet and TV for the subdivision, did not have service to our location. The builder should have known that. Also, we still have outstanding items from the pre-closing punch list that are not resolved. The Home Care people contact us every couple of weeks to say that they are having a meeting to make a plan to solve our issues, but we are still waiting for them to fix cabinets and install the correct garage door. I like the neighborhood, the area, and customer service for Lenar was alright. The quality of the home is below par. There are warped walls, our heater didn't work for the first 2 months, and contractors seemed upset when they had to come fix something.

Not honoring walk through issues. Cheap appliances, tankless hot water systems wastes so much water waiting for hot water.

Yeah…. Big let down. Stove so cheap you can feel heat outside of oven when on. Cheap oven controls. Tankless hot water may save electricity but waste tons of water daily waiting on hot water. Fan in laundry room continues to run 24/7. Even after switch changed out. Parking on both sides of streets makes where only one car can barely go down a street. Neighbor ghetto up by this.

Do not close on a home and believe that they will have things wrapped up when they say they will. Would not recommend.3 months in huge crack in ceiling doors won’t open on back of house. Lennar is production builder and it shows. Get them in and close.

Bad contractor and empty promises

When you’re spending this much money on a brand new home, you don’t expect to have to do 2-3 months of repairs right when you move in, but that’s what had happened with us, even though we have been discussing these issues, and bringing up issues as the house was being built. Not only was our home delayed and not done correctly, the craftsmanship was HORRIBLE, and no one showed up to our closing. House appears slapped together, no pride in workmanship. So many issues and takes forever to get resolution.

This is the 2nd home we have built in the past 3 years. The quality of Lennar is subpar. The walls are extremely rough and not square. The cabinets are all scratched up and boards broken along the floor. The banister has multiple spots that weren't stained. Doors off in frames, the wrong color front door and shutters were installed. They still have not been corrected. We will not be using Lennar for our next build.

Promise of moving into a completely finished house was just words

We were rushed to close on Black Friday, a day that was not good for us, and the house still had a lot of things not completed. Today is January 12th and both of my garage doors are still not operational. The gentlemen that did our walk through was very nice and promised to have everything done within a week and he would help us out with having some pendant lights we bought installed if we gave him a good review, which we did, but after that he ghosted us and never answered the phone or text messages. Cheap materials, rushes craftsmanship, last minute downgraded materials with no money refunded, cracks in multiple seems in corners, squeaky floors prior to move in, cracked windows, sprinkle lines installed on neighbors property, sink hole in back yard due to graders "forgetting" hay bell. List goes on and on ask anyone on the FB group made just for this issues.

We thought highly of Lennar and it was our dream to buy a Lennar Home. The process started with great hopes, agents were really nice. But we face lot of disappointments during construction and post construction. The construction manager is rude, the issues that we reported during construction were denied to be fixed and we got bad treatment from the construction manager. The entire build process was a mess because the communication between the sales member and he construction manager was awful. The sales member had no interest in assisting us through out the process once we signed the contract. We are still finding several construction issues and fear there could be some major problems we are unaware of. Do not recommend Lennar to anyone.

The absolutely lack of pride in work.

The workmanship in our home is that of random people doing random tasks they are not competent in. So many little things all over the home. The floors have gaps in some slats and non in the other. The trim work could have been done better by my 8 year old son and he has absolutely no carpentry skills. The answer to every and all mistakes was smearing caulking all over the home. Our back yard constantly floods and holds water from the rain and or neighbors sprinklers. The lack of proper runoff and drainage is ridiculous. If I could rate zero stars I would especially on workmanship and quality.

For $400,000 you expect a certain quality in a home. This does not live up to the expectations. Very poor quality paint, sheet rock, tile work, workmanship and appliances. When we moved in the oven didn’t work, the dryer outlet didn’t work, the dishwasher leaves the dishes unclean and wet, paint feels like sandpaper, paint peels off the doors if you try to clean the glass or they get wet, crack in ceiling about 6 feet long in the kitchen. Builder was okay to work with. Lack of organization when it came to my closing date due to not having my CO which caused closing to be moved several times. Because I signed a materials shortage addendum some of the materials did not seem to be of equal value as to what was in the model. Mostly pertaining to the showers in the home.
