The number one selling point for this house was the backyard. On two occasions, Brittany told us our back yard was from the neighbors fence to our left to the neighbors fence to our right. During the initial showing we asked where the side boundaries were and she said we are “lucky because our neighbors have built fences and all we need to do was tie our fence to theirs”. Our sales agent was great when we first looked at the house and when we first signed the paperwork. After that everything went downhill. Our sales agent was no longer timely in responses and our Lennar Loan Agent was very unresponsive throughout the process to the point we went with an outside lender. We close on a home that is worth almost 500k and the entire house was dirty, including all widows, bathtub, shower, rug and drywall was cracked . there were multiple holes that we told was going to fixed before closing but they were not. We moved in to our home on August 29, 2023. From the time of the 1st walk through, it was a rough go. There were many things to be fixed which is to be expected. What wasn’t expected was the way things were handled. We were told we had to sign off on the home which acknowledged that everything was good. When we said we would not sign off without putting some type of comments stating the items needing to be fixed, we were told we can’t do that and if we didn’t sign, then escrow would not close on time. The process started off great! Everyone was nice and the communication was excellent. Our closing date was pushed back three times due to permits building issues. Each new closing date we were promised everything would be ready to go by the new closing date and that was never the case. We were told all blue tape issues and the overall home would be done before we moved in and they were not. Even after we closed on the home there were still blue tape issues that had never been fixed so we have a list of work orders to submit.

This is my second time buying with Lennar. It started off great but all went downhill. They kept pushing our closing out (understandable with new construction) but the worst was when we were scheduled for our new home orientation and we got a call less than 30 minutes beforehand when we were already almost there that the home wasn’t ready and our closing would be delayed (again). After you sign the papers, there is no communication on the progress of your build. The attention to detail is none. Callbacks have to go through a warranty program, which can be a nightmare.

The price you pay for the product that you’re buying is adequate. But if you’re looking for just adequate no perfection or even close to a building standard, you’re wasting your money. No communication skills during the build process. Attempting to get the punchlist fixed is a nightmare. Due to the fact, you have to go through a warranty service as they put it to get things done. I cannot in good faith recommend Lennar to anyone that’s purchasing a property.

The sales rep. Cindy was very professional and was great to work with. The closing team promised completion of all issues and that was all BS . No follow up to issues. They said what we wanted to hear to close the deal. Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend LENNAR ! Wish I had not purchased !!!

Experience with work completion dates, delayed closing dates to quality of work has been sub par. Our independent realtor has been fantastic and guided us through the entire process based on prior experiences. We are in the warranty period with a number of issues needing to be addressed. The verdict is still out on this process.

The workmanship was poor, drywall imperfections everywhere and gaps in trim. Pretty disappointed. I have also had very little communication from the sales and warannty team. I bought a home with David Weekley a year ago so I have a good baseline understanding of the process and Lennar's experience was far inferior to David Weekley's.

After first home inspection managed to find dozens of flows, while during second home inspections, only few items has been fixed while other ones are still pending month after move in. We purchased from Lennar because of their next gen option in a home. Within 30 days of closing is when problems surfaced. We had sold our prior home and needed to move into the new home. Had constant issues with Lennar Mortgage. They were not reliable in responding to messaging. When it came time to close, they were still dragging their feet on fixing issues that had been known for months. The construction team has been great in response to warranty issues but there’s no reason it should not have been done prior to closing. The amount of blue tape issues that were not corrected or were brushed under the rug are not great. We love our home, but I would not buy with Lennar again.

I had a horrible experience with purchasing my Lennar home utilizing Lennar Financial for the offered perks. I wish I would've just used my own funding as originally planned. I had zero communication from Lennar Financial - Leslie Ramirez and my out of pocket projecting closing costs were $5,000 under projected which was a huge inconvenience for me. The structure/home itself is great. I wish the home sales consultants and Lennar Financial had better customer service. For these huge reasons, I would not recommend Lennar.

Make sure you do not move in a location still under construction. The noise, the dust, the heavy machinery you hear daily are a disruption to your daily life. Nobody informed us of the train we hear every night around midnight!
