Rushed to closing service is bad after.

We were rushed to close and they were not ready they could’ve taken another couple weeks and gotten things situated. After I came back from the settlement table I came back to a house that had no front door they still cannot fix a problem with with the door that they had so they took the entire front door off. There follow up on a bunch of things is really really bad

What can I say….for it being my first time buying a house, this was the worse experience ever. If I buy another home, later on, I’ll make sure it isn’t with Lennar. Try contacting them and seeing the status on everything….no response. Oh, by the way, you need 13k tomorrow for the closing. They moved the closing a week early and expect you to have the closing cost for the next day at 4 pm the day before—worse communication between buyer and seller. House has had so many issues that when you put in a work order request, they want you to sign that it’s been fixed even if it hasn’t even been ...

Once the contract to purchase was signed it was all downhill from there. My contact onsite never kept the commitments he made to reach out. He and the loan rep at Lennar Mortgage didn't communicate with each other. The loan rep never reached out unless I pestered him. The time and location for the doc signing was arbitrarily set and had to be rearranged at the last minute. Overall, we are happy with our home mainly because we love the location and the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. On the other hand, the build quality, in my opinion, is very poor. We have had countless issues after being in our home for only 6 weeks. These include very poor interior paint quality with a total lack of attention to detail. Ali, our sales consultant was very professional as were our mortgage and title representatives However, our pre close and post close walk throughs were apparently a waste of time. We closed over 6 weeks ago and still have simple paint and electrical issues that have not been addressed and our backyard is so poorly graded that we can’t use it because it is soggy and muddy.

If you read the reviews for Lennar they are mixed to be sure. Either very satisfied or extremely disappointed. I'm somewhere in the middle. My sales associate was great. The home is tasteful, but the build quality is only slightly above average. The house was overpriced, but isn't everything today. But for half a million dollars I would have expected more attention to detail as well as respect. Lennar Title and Lennar Mortgage should be avoided; they're snakes. Lennar Mortgage especially. Not a great overall experience. Our New home consultant Ainsley was amazing! Everyone/thing else has just not been great. Unorganized, a lot misinformation. This review is after 2 months living in the home and still dealing with issues.

This is poorly built home. There are multiple issues. The builder has been responsive, most of the time but not all the time. I have been given excuses as to why the air conditioner upstairs is fine, even though the 2ns story is 5-6 degrees warmer in summer than the first floor. End result is that the builder has said "tough luck and under the RWC the A/C works fine. The plumber voided the warranty on the first floor tub due to improper installation. Unfortunately, I would not recommend a Lennar build to anyone. If, however, you choose to go with a new build, please lower your expectations. The workmanship throughout the home looks incredibly rushed. The paint job is poorly done, some of the kitchen cabinets are not level, rubber seams on doors damaged, framing on outside window facade falling down, wood chipped throughout the home, floor trimming around baseboards not flush, paint/spackle on carpet, lighting not flush with the ceiling, etc. It's incredibly disappointing to see your investment look so poorly thrown together. Expect to be frustrated going through the process. Lennar mad us close on our house before it was ready - the finance people must run the show. They somehow got the CO but our AC didn't work, we had missing drawers, a vent cover, the pool didn't work, missing tile, a warped wall, and more. I asked them to redo many areas of trim and the redo was worse than the original. The subs are not really skilled craftsmen so expect a lot of uneven, misaligned, or warped areas. The workmanship in the entryway of the front door was poor. The front door wouldn’t open all the way and I had to advocate myself to get it addressed. The first attempt at resolving the issue was sloppy. Then the construction manager stopped replying to my messages. I then had to find another Lennar representative who would help me. Hopefully the warranty manager that I am working with now will resolve the issue but I currently have a front door that doesn’t open all the way.

We unfortunately have had on-going issues such as a main shower water leak and a secondary bathroom exhaust fan leak that have yet to fixed - almost two months now since we moved in! Would not buy from them again. Lots of things wrong, from windows that won’t open to gaps in the crown mounding. Not to mention the closing was delayed 5 weeks due to forgotten steps with the city. Made my first home-buying experience very upsetting.

Subcontractors: the attention to detail is lacking. No home will ever be perfect but you can tell when a subcontractor cares about the quality of work they complete. These subcontractors left carpet being lifted up in corners, paint on the baseboards, more paint needed on the walls, and the sod is absolutely ridiculous. There are seperations between sod spots the size of my foot. Lennar- If Lennar truly cares about the communities they are building they will have the common grounds sodded and the subcontractors pick up their messes. I am sad to be giving such a poor review when I absolutely love our home and had a great experience with so many of the team. I will start with the good parts. I love the home, the location, and the Lennar product. Rick the construction manager and Dana the Customer Service manager have been simply wonderful all throughout.
