CM didn't follow through. Lied about product.

Still have blue tape from QA/QC department all ovef my walls. CM never took notes during final walk-through and failed to do any of the punchlist items. Window clips were thrown on my counter and not installed (told me they were a courtesy and not required). Lied to my sales rep about insulation over garage. Outlets don't work. Paint overspray everywhere. Weather stripping I can see day light through. Metal Studs, vs wood. Copper clad aluminum wiring. $500mm for a cheaply built.

Have issues on my new Home

I bought my 1st home from Lennar. Considering my experience I went with Lennar again and that was my blunder mistake I must have ever done. I don't have any issue with the sales, but the Lender gave me a tough time due to Quality of work and STILL I HAVE a problem which is not properly responded. Secondly, response to my problem was not taken properly.

Cutting corners to save money on every front

I regret buying this home. Every single day, I regret it. There are so many hidden poor craftsman issues that I find. From ceiling light covers randomly falling, to ethernet ports being installed the wrong way, to THE worst floors I have ever had the displeasure of having. There really is no end to how poor quality of the home this is. Its a shame, because the floorplan is fantastic. But the corner cutting to save every penny, or in some cases just poor craftsmanship is where the regret comes in. Need customer service BEFORE you buy? LENNAR has you covered. But AFTER??? You're own your ...

I am dealing over 10 problems because of the quality of the materials. I wish Lennar should look at the quality of the materials closely!!! Because of that it creates even more headaches for everyone. Customer service people on the phone are very rude as well. Lennar building homes look nice for a week. Lennar management team… please be mindful. This is people’s home and they are going to live there quite some time. Not only a week!!! Please please look at your work that you have done.

There is little attention to detail which leaves the final product looking shabby. Many issues that were identified during the walkthrough were never addressed despite several reminders. Electrical issues were not corrected - let's see what happens when I submit a warranty claim. To be fair, this is my second Lennar house, and the first purchase was a lot smoother although attention to detail was not there either.

Lennar home buying experience is worst.

My experience with Lennar has been very disappointing from the very beginning. The construction manager has refused to acknowledge or address the issues I raised during the construction period. He has not been willing to fix or even properly consider the problems. The landscaping is extremely poor, making my backyard completely unusable. The yard is sloped badly, and water does not drain for more than a week after rain. Despite raising this concern multiple times, Lennar handed over the house in this condition and has done nothing to improve it—not even simple fixes. I am paying a ...

I was very disappointed in Lennar and the quality of work done at our house. Counter tops not finished (sealed), no ceiling fans, no gutters, landscaping was done cheap and the soil is not compacted so it holds water. Have called in 9 warranty issues in the first month. AC unit is undersized and will barely cool the house. We would have chose a different builder if we knew this is what Lennar produces. Do Not recommend buying a Lennar home if you can help it.

Extremely disappointed with Lennar’s so-called “warranty”

I am beyond frustrated with Lennar. Every time I submit a warranty request, they find a new excuse to deny coverage. I’ve been told repeatedly that the issues I report would be covered—but only in other states, not mine. How does that make any sense? A national builder should offer consistent service, but instead, Lennar hides behind technicalities and loopholes to avoid doing the right thing. They make empty promises just to close the sale, but once you’re in your home and problems arise, you’re on your own. Their warranty is nothing but a sales tactic—absolutely useless when you actually ...

The actual buying experience initially was very smooth, however since closing escrow and moving end to the community I am less than pleased with certain things. 1. - HOA covenants was not provided to me prior to signing purchase agreement nor was it provided to me at the close of escrow. Inspections- Have a trustworthy inspector and schedule ahead of time through the home building period, Modelos are the builders choice of hydration. Found that the investment does not equate to the final product. The investment made does not support the quality or craftmanship delivered. The most upsetting thing was that the house was not ready for the first walk through and the punch list made during that walk through was not attended to as we conducted the final walk through virtually. We were assured that all items were taken care of. This was not the case. In short, we were lied to. I would not recommend the Lennar product to anyone. The value of the product is overinflated. Overall we love the home and community but the major issue is the fact that they just will not finish the house. It’s been 2 months since settlement and we’ve had multiple appointments no showed by the builder to fix issues that should have been done prior to settlement after promised that things would be resolved. Honestly our next step will be a lawyer. It’s unfortunate because most could have been done quickly…. Would not recommend the builder to anyone.

Unfortunately, I had the worst and most humiliating experience buying a home with Lennar. If they wanted to know about my two-year consecutive employment history, why didn't they ask me at the beginning? I understand that the FHA process is rigorous, but the procedure adopted by Lennar was terrible. I have never been so disrespected regarding my professional career as I was during this purchase process. Lennar asked me how I got a job at an American company if I had no “recent” experience in business or team management. Have they never heard that when a professional moves to another ...

They don’t follow their own craftsmanship guidelines and instead do patch jobs that make things look worse. Spent time with the rep taping quality issues in the house just to have someone else come in and rip the tape off without ever fixing. At the final walk through I mentioned how nothing was even fixed and the guy didn’t care. They know that their contract forces you to close on an unfinished house. Lennar has gone downhill from what they used to be.

I had high hopes when I purchased my home from Lennar, but unfortunately, the experience during and after closing has been very disappointing. 1. Seller’s Credit Issue at Closing: Lennar attempted to reduce the agreed-upon seller credit at the last minute, just before closing. I just purchased the house in April 2025, and we moved in on May 1st. However, I’ve already noticed several issues. The exterior paint is fading, and there are cracks all over the outside walls. The existing flooring is covered in linoleum, so I replaced it. I also repainted the interior walls because the original paint was dull. The bottom of the kitchen cabinets is falling apart. On a positive note, the lighting in the is good.

Very cheaply made for what we paid. You can tell they build these homes in 120 days. Appliances are super cheap. Yes it's quartz countertops but very thin. Cabinets hit other cabinets when they're being opened which leads to paint chipping. Gaps in the trim (not flush with the floor). Cheap wire closet "organization". They had to use a zip off form of insulation for the attic as the HVAC was poorly installed - I know this bc my husband has been in the industry for 10+ years. I mean, the list goes on and on. There is little accountability with anything. When initially inspecting the house and pointing out the defects that needed to be cleaned up or fixed they promised they would fix them all. We toured the house three days before moving and notice some problems were still not fixed or cleaned, they then promised it will be ready for move in.
