You can`t see your head in front of you at night and the houses don`t come with outside garage lights. The sprinkler system isn`t set to spray the grass in places. The yard itself isn`t level and lumpy all over. Brand new community with renters already. Mail box issues from day one. I`m not a fan at this point.

My husband and I had been sharing our concerns to the building team and even the Lennar Realtor . Closing date several items were still not complete and the house was not even power washed. the upstairs porch was dirty. Until now they kept saying they are coming to address this issues and had not been here yet. We closed in April

The home wasn’t completed when it was supposed to be. They then rushed through getting everything done and the quality really suffered. The home was not at all clean when I moved in and the construction manager’s response was that his cleaning crew didn’t like him. If that’s the case find a new cleaning crew. I’m still waiting for them to get the excess paint off the windows and carpet and clean the concrete from my kitchen baseboards. They also had some sort of film on my oven that was never removed. The house was to be completed around the estimated date of Feb 23rd. The sales office representative told us that Lennar we would receive $200 a day for the amount of days that went over a certain date until official closing. The amount of days were 5 total and we should here received $1,000. That commitment was not honored. We sent the information as requested and we received nothing.

Buying a Lennar home has been a disappointing experience. Promises of what repairs and fixes will take place prior to closing have not fully materialized. Additional builder fee added to closing costs. No real reason but additional profit just because they can do it in this environment. Front line customer support, lazy and arrogant.

I was unable to be at the property during building, I reside NJ but should not have had bad service because of that. Everything was rushed at the end because there was a delay on the floor and I assume Lennar had to meet a quota. I was told several times that I had to close on a home that was incomplete, where they could get a temporary CO. I hired my own inspector to confirm that there were serious issues. Our home buying experience started off on the right track when Breland was still in charge. Shortly after we signed our first contract, Lennar took over and that’s when things hit the fan. Delays started happening, incorrect installations for upgraded materials we paid for, complete lies to try and scare us from fighting back, multiple project managers quitting like it’s a revolving door. Lennar isn’t a company I would ever build with again. We went into this process with an open mind and came out burned time and time again.

From closing to getting settled in has not been a good experience. On closing day painters were still touching up the paint. The cleaner was at my home mopping and left the floor so wet it looked like the top of a lake. Response to customer care has taken over a month to get items fixed. The appliances are cheap the workmanship in probably a 7 out of 10. Probably would not purchase another Lennar home.

Many defects found from day 1 with majority are related to flooring, finishing and garage concrete slope issues which are not identified and given an option to blue tape to us at the time of orientation. Customer service has mentioned that some of them are supposed to be identified before closing and are handled as per the warranty terms. I wish the construction quality is better.

During the inital viewing tour, I thought this experience was going to be amazing. The folks were eager to show homes but that is where the accommodations ended. The entire process was rushed and stressful. Although the home I purchased was unfinished I was unable to make any changes to the decor (i.e. carpet & home automation). During my final walk through & key turnover my home was not even cleaned. That said, I cannot comment on the craftsmanship specifically because my home has not yet had time to settle. Home has a lot of issues to fix, starting and not limited to essential things as foundation, flooring and walls. Communication has been overall decent, however follow ups has been completed due to some of the first issues reported are still pending. At this time, after 2 months of bought the house, several items to fix are pending.

You'll spend most of the process chasing people for answers, and then you might also get verbally abused by at least 1 Lennar representative. Our initial disclosures were sent within hours of the 3 day requirement passing. We were told that they would extend our closing date (due to reasons on our end), if we paid an additional $3K on the price of our home. They then proceeded to extend the closing date further due to workmanship issues. Cheap quick builds with cheap slow fixes to any issues with the home. Grout is falling apart day 1 in the bathroom. Salesman Josh in Bastrop was helpful up until he made his sale. He became unresponsive and dismissive once he made his commission. We’ve been living in on brushy creek drive since March and we still have no mailboxes. Lennar is trash. Customer service is trash. I regret buying this home.

Although i know that with any home there is no such thing as perfect, however, certain attentions to detail are clearly missing here. It definitely feels like quantity over quality. There were many things on our punch list that has still not been fixed. During our walkthroughs things were said they would be done personally by the construction manager that day, and they are still not fixed. Workmanship and customer service is awful. All they care about is getting the sale and not willing to make sure the customer doesn't regret dealing with them. Which I do! Buyer's Beware! If you are already locked into a sale, go thru the walk thru with a fine tooth comb, even if it takes all day. DO NOT CLOSE UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. The communication was horrible from start to finish. Painters were really bad. I’m a repeat buyer. My experience in Charlotte was awesome however in Hardeeville SC it was really bad. The quality and supervision was not there.

Lennar should work on improving construction quality. Builder’s quality check is a joke. Construction managers waits till the last moment or goes beyond closing of the house to perform the required corrections. As a result - rushed work and multiple iterations are required.

Floorboards don’t meet edge to edge. On day 1 we had a water leak because a pipe from the AC unit burst inside the house. Weeks of inconvenience and worry. The paint is already peeling. Issues with the washing machine and windows. Very sloppy workmanship with little or no supervision. There is more I could add.

The worst home purchase I’ve ever had(2 previous). Went to walk through and there were numerous issues with the home. Was told that if I don’t close once they received the certificate of occupancy I would lose my deposit. It been almost 2 months since I’ve closed and there is still incomplete work. Too much back and forth with their subs.
