Bad experience cheaply done work. Lots of problems but builder still wanted to close be fore fixing them . Also after removing there cheap carpet there was lots of dirt paint and construction trash under pad was not even clean up . Then all the closet shelves were not attached to studs fell down with my wife’s clothes on them and she got hurt. Also had to fix a wall outlet box when removing found beer cans and soda pop bottles in the wall with liquid in them and ants were already starting to make a home were there was food and sugar . Bad builders stay away!!!

The initial part of the home buying process was okay. It was until the inspection and after closing that the nightmares started to kick in. First, for starters, any real estate professional could see the gap between the foundation and the garage door. It seems like because I was out of town during the closing they just looked over the gap in hopes I wouldn’t say anything. I personally didn’t have a good experience at all when purchasing my home. My loan officer was fired days before my original closing date. Supposedly she didn’t upload any of my documents to my folder and I basically had to start from scratch with a new loan officer. This process pushed me back another 3 months. The entire homebuying process was a nightmare from start to finish. Salesman was not knowledgeable at all to the product or process. Then the mortgage team I dealt with was absolutely horrid and unreachable most of the time. I almost pulled out of the deal due to frustration and complications that were unnecessary. From beginning to end, this home-buying experience has been a nightmare. The salesman was unresponsive to our issue with an unfinished garage wall. The Title Company used by the builder was also responsive to our requests to meet in person for the purchase agreement signing. Worst of all, they recorded the WRONG names with the county. My experience with Lennar has not been great. Short of the woman who assisted me as my homebuyer concierge the experience has come up short. Things started off bad after the walk pre purchase walkthrough. I pointed out many issues. Then when final walkthrough came I showed up to the appointment and notii nouns had been completed and then they said they would complete the items and send me pictures. Lennar tried to close our home when house wasn't ready. We did Walk through 2 times but items didn't fix. Lennar pushed us to close the house and said they will charge us for each day if we push the closing date later. Finance team wasn't knowledgeble enough and they made a mistake on cash to close amount.

Houses are ok but the buying process with the builder and their relator is terrible. At a minimum if you want one of their homes get your own relatpr don't use theirs.

The communication with Lenar and especially with the saleswoman was terribly bad, no one gave us an answer to our questions, the communication was a disaster, in addition to the delivery many novelties and low quality products.

I was extremely disappointed with my whole Lennar home buying experience. My NHC Steven was horrible. I would constantly reach out for updates/status of my home multiple times before I would receive a response. It was always the same answer no change this is post COVID times and it takes a lot longer to get things done. My previous property manager from a rental I was living at told me to get a new NHC because Steven was horrible, and I should have listened to them. Lennar title. Same exact thing. Lennar tricks you by telling you that certain things are included, items are installed to code, floor plans, etc. Then you find problems with everything. Lennar - Actual experience Window coverings (shades) included - not on all windows. The workmanship is very poor , my living room ceiling , you can see the taping on every seam and on my south wall you can see the screws popping through. Highly recommend being involved throughout the build, any corner to be cut will be cut by builder. Shady operation with lowest quality materials, paint, cabinets, flooring etc. Expect to be stone walled. Highly recommend hiring an inspector before closing. They will not let you on the roof to inspect roofing until after closing and this is a no drone zone. Two months after my closing, I haven't received my keys yet. Nobody from Lennar is capable of giving me a straight answer. I don't get why you rush the closing like crazy if you are not ready to provide me with my keys. Really disappointed at the level of service provided by Lennar. It's like there is no management at all in this company. Nobody takes any responsibility.

I was told I had to rewrite this because my first review was too strong. Our home buying experience was less than satisfying. Our salesperson, once the papers were signed, disappeared. Many emails and text messages were ignored. Not very comforting. We even recommended that a friend buy in the neighborhood. They did. Do you think it may have been nice if our salesperson reached out to us and said thank you for the referral. Of course not. We will move again for sure. But if this salesperson has anything to do with our next development, we will move on.

We are first time home buyers and were drawn in by Lennars "easy home buying process" and "everything included". The entire process was a nightmare (minus our amazing sells rep Heather and Warranty/Construction rep Brett). You are 100% just a number to this corporation and they do not care about you, your family or the investment you're making. They have no communication internally, so you have the same conversations with different departments and have to submit the same paperwork over and over again. Stay away from Lennar period. But If you must buy a Lennar home, please budget for thousands of dollar you will need to spend to get the home to a barely comfortable place to live. The price might seem reasonable at first, but when you calculate all the missing items in the home, you will end up paying significantly more than you you went with another builder. Also, be prepared for bad service all round and constant state of confusion amongst their staff.

Purchased house expecting to have installed what was advertised on their website as part of "Everything included". I did not get USB outlets, exhaust fan in master WC, or smart thermostat. In addition, building plans show exhaust fans in laundry room and master WC, but were not installed. The fine print says lennar has the right to change everything. So regardless of what it shown on building plans or website, lennar has the right to not install it. Not what I expected from a company that I felt had a good reputation.

was 2 days before closing and cosmetic issues were still not completed after i reminded them 2 wks in advance , they probably wouldn't have done anything if i had not been proactive , there was also 2 electrical issues that i didn;t find until after closing , unfinished wiring for the attic light the switch was never installed and 3 outlets would trip immediately when used , where is quality control ? I have purchased 7 homes in the past 31 years and this by far was the worst experience I have ever had with a builder, from the start to close. I had to postpone the closing because what they called a finish home was not what the general public would consider finished. And the even managed to screw up the closing when it came time for that process. I flew my wife in from NC just for the close and we could not and would not close based on condition of home. We had many discussions about the floor not being level because of flooring joist that were over cut and not supported properly. We have kitchen cabinets that don’t work and after submitting repair order they show up with no parts and say put another request in. Main bathroom above garage is not insulated. Huge temperature difference between the first floor and second. All concerns that were pointed out during construction and after with no corrective actions planned.
