Very disappointed with our experience buying a new home from Lennar. The construction quality and attention to detail were far below expectations for a new build. We found multiple issues that should have been caught before walkthroughs, including roof problems (exposed nails, poorly cut shingles around vents, and unsealed gaps). When asked if all roof vents were inspected, the construction manager said only the items shown in my photos were addressed—concerning for a builder of this size. Without our own roofer, these issues could have led to leaks. Interior workmanship was also lacking, with sloppy caulking, mismatched paint, and uneven finishes. We felt pressured to close on time despite Lennar’s contractors causing delays, and communication with Larry salesperson dropped off midway through the process. Thankfully we had a realtor Whittley, who was professional, supportive, and consistently advocated for us. The building manager, Noe, for our area in Corpus Christi has been phenomenal since we did our walk through. He has gone out of his way multiple times to see if we needed help with anything or just checking in to see how our home is doing. Any issue I have brought up was immediately addressed and corrected. He makes sure the entire area stays as clean as possible even though our entire area is under construction. He has been very professional.

We got a beautiful home for a good price. However, Lennar left the place filthy. We never expected to have to deep clean before moving into our new home. We asked repeatedly about having the home cleaned and we’re actually told it had been cleaned. perhaps Lennar has a different standard on what clean is.There was construction dust everywhere on every surface. An unbelievable about bugs all over the counters and an incredible amount of paint on the floor that had to be scraped off on our hands and knees. Lennar also has not responded to requests to replace a door handle on our siding glass door. We spoke with the construction manager Leesa more than once about replacing a door handle on our sliding glass door that has a huge chip out of it. She repeatedly told us it was on order. Not sure where they’re ordering from but we have not heard anything back about it despite our repeated inquiries. I hate to think what a struggle It will be to get any warranty work completed. The purchase of my new home went smoothly. The videos I received during the build were fun and made me feel a part of the build. They were quick to respond to my questions. I am enjoying my new home.

It was a pleasant experience. Only office staff was rude but otherwise all good.

Since we’ve bought our Lennar home, we’ve seen good, bad & terrible reviews from other Lennar buyers. The home seems sound, but there are small issues we’ve had to address since we moved in almost 2 months ago. I would recommend a home inspection before buying. We did & even though our home had been newly built, there were several things we required to be taken care before we closed. The appliances that come with the home are subpar. If you have the chance to upgrade your appliances, do so! Overall, we are happy with our Lennar home.

Twice there was a punchlist and none of the items got addressed. Still are not taking care of. Can’t get a hold of anybody.

There were so many great incentives that pushed us to buy this house and I’m glad we did. The quality of the house is great. The home buying experience was quick and seamless. We closed in 17 days after waiting 6 months for our home to be built with another competitor (completion kept being pushed out). All in all this was the best choice!

Charlotte was an amazing help with the home buying process. Her hands on with making sure I understand what was going on and the process it would take to get the home was truly a great experience.

Previously bought Lennar and don’t have as many issues as we do now. The quality of the workmanship is not great lots of caulking everywhere to fix the mistakes and do t get me started on their management team

Quality of the build is not good. In particular, the carpentry is poor quality. Most door frames and window trim is beat up. Doors hung improperly, bottoms of interior doors are rough, cut crooked. Any imperfection was covered with massive amounts of caulk. Every door jamb is cut too high and caulked sloppily. There are chunks missing from crown and baseboards. Anywhere there is a stop on the baseboards is just raw and sloppy looking. Crown molding around the tops of kitchen cabinets, is very wide and caulked at least .5" or more onto the grey crown. Transitions from LVP to tile are not square to the rooms. Anything that was of any concern during new home celebration has taken several attempts to rectify. Jason from warranty has been responsive but the coordination with trades ahs been terrible. Trades don't show up repeatedly, when they do show, they have done shoddy work and have had to come back multiple times. The sink cut out on the kitchen island is .5" out of square. All repairs have been a struggle to complete. Drywall in the garage (I know it's just a garage)is missing a piece over the garage door. Entry at the front and into the garage door slabs are being replaced only because we have pushed for it. Both doors were not hung properly. The door frames are now beat up from repeated service work. Overall I am not pleased with the craftsmanship for the price of the home. Early on before we could ever get into the house I could see from the windows some of these issues. I called a meeting with the construction manager to voice my concerns. Nothing changed. The stairs are hardwood and they caulked all over the edges of the stair treads. ... More

Sold all rooms wired for cable, model has all rooms wired, city plans have all rooms wired but you did not and refused to wire all rooms in my house and did not build to city plan

After walk thru and sign off, part of driveway was removed and replaced, cement was very dark gray, was told it would lighten as it cured, 2 months later, lightened a little but looks terrible, also at walk walk thru noticed a lot of ants, it got worse every day, purchased a lot of products, and contracted pest control company , reported to Lennar several times, asked for assistance for a few weeks while unoccupied, I was brushed off, now after a few months noticing a lot of little issues, stains and paint on carpet and tiles, windows dirty, etc etc, just not move in ready in my opinion.

We had less than perfect credit 515 going into this and Lennar team was amazing guiding us through credit repair and all the hurdles that came up and there were many. In the 3 months it took for our home to be completed we ended with scores at 700+, all debts paid off and keys to our first home. Even with unexpected job layoff and both of us starting new jobs 2 weeks before closing. They worked tirelessly to help us get through to closing. I’d recommend Lennar hands down to anyone. They took our dream and made it a reality !

I’m happy with my experience purchasing my home through Lennar. The buying process went smoothly, and I love my new home. However, I’m very unhappy with the solar panels that were sold to me. It has been two months and they are still not connected, and it’s almost impossible to get in contact with the solar panel company. This part of the experience has been very frustrating.

Average experience, nothing to brag about. Construction manager is very helpful and responsive.

The process of purchasing a new build villa was very easy. Lennar fulfilled all promises made and everything went very smoothly. They gave me a great rate and the mortgage staff were excellent and easy to work with also.

I am satisfied with the overall buying process; however, since moving in we have noticed several issues with appliances not functioning properly. More recently, significant cracks have begun to appear in the corners of multiple rooms. There are also cracks in the stucco, and in some areas pieces of stucco have fallen off. I am unsure whether these issues are considered normal settling or if they indicate poor workmanship or material quality.

Overall experience was fine with little lack of clarity on rates at the final end of signing.

Very pleased with the quality and design of Lennar Homes. Big windows to let all the light in. The brick is beautiful
