I was ok until I woke up one morning and my sliding glass door was physically open. I was ok until a construction worker used his code to open my front door and I had to run in terror to the door when I saw he was about to step into my house. I was told the builder code was removed on the day of closing. It was well over a month later when the worker walked into my house. The workers have utilized my electricity, blocked my driveway several times since I moved here and I had to go over to the agents office to get a sign to indicate "private residence" before anyone from Lennar did it. ...

After showing interest in the property our Lennar agent would not reply or answer any of our questions. It was almost impossible to get a response and even delayed our closing date. Our Lennar lending agent also lacked urgency in a market were rates were fluctuating daily. I wish we would have had better communication because the process caused a lot of stress and anxiety in a time when we should have been excited and celebrating our new home purchase.

Maddie/concierge was horrible - didn't notify me of sod installation - cost me money

Maddie did not communicate throughout the home buying experience. I am an out of state buyer and having somebody in that position was critical to the success of my buying and closing. I requested multiple times to notify me when the sod would be installed, she didn't, and then Lennar would not honor the warranty. I will be posting truthfully negative public comments. Lennar will have one more opportunity to reimburse me for the sod or I will post the comments and then take them to small claims. I will win.

My experience with Lennar has been frustrating and disappointing. There has been a lack of transparency and poor communication throughout the home-buying process. Aubry, the lender, failed to clearly explain unexpected increases in the purchase price and closing costs, and I was not informed when my loan was placed in suspension, causing unnecessary delays and stress. On top of that, the landscaping is poorly done and far below expectations. Cheap floor

I can't believe Lennar is using such a cheap floor. The engineered hard floor is sooo thin, a decent LVP is thicker than that. We only moved in for 1.5 months, some boards are already cracked, and lots of them are buckled up. I would rather they just leave the cement floor so that we can install a real engineered hardwood floor which will last for many years. For this current floor, it will not just cost us more to remove, it will be very dusty. What a disappointment!

While the home design itself looked promising, the customer experience and build quality left much to be desired. Alex G. was the Lennar agent we worked with to purchase our home. The experience was not good at all. It started out well as we believed every word he said when he answered our questions. Little did we know, he wasn’t providing the correct information. I don’t think he did this for nefarious purposes. I think he just did it because he wanted to provide an answer and didn’t want to say “I don’t know”. When we applied we didn’t know what we were going to be living. Lennar Mortgage is the WORST! I was so excited to buy a Lennar home, but the escrow experience was horrible. I dealt with unresponsive escrow people, even calling the Homebuyer Concierge rep and never getting any follow up contact, which begs the question as to what kind of concierge services do they provide. The only thing they seemed interested in was getting their money. Plus, there were offers made that we never completed.

The loan/underwriting process was the most demanding and intensive process I've ever been through AND this is my third home to own. They needed so many documents that had me questioning, "Why do they need this?" I'm telling folks not to purchase a Lennar.

Do not purchase a Lennar. The loan/underwriting process was very intense. Also, make sure you know what you are NOT getting before you move into your home. They focus on what it includes, but don't tell you what you are not getting. For example: Refrigerator, back door blinds, bathroom shower racks, shower curtain rods, DOOR BELL, washer and dryer (may sure to check the connections) guest bedroom closet lights. I wouldn't do this again.....

My buyer experience was something to be desired. I have purchased several homes from Lennar without any significant problems. They were not prepared to provide service from financing, closing and move in. If you. Had a question regarding anything, there was either no response or you had to go through numerous people. The did not know the correct post office to establish mail delivery. We were very disappointed. No one was in charge of this new community. This was not a good experience.

Although Pam, my sales rep, and Des, my builder rep did their best to accommodate, it’s obvious to me that Lennar’s puts profits over customers. No blinds or even towel / to racks. Lawn is embarrassingly awful. Kitchen island crooked. Kitchen countertops amateur job. Light switches in random /stupid places. I have 3 Lennar homes now. Won’t do it again.

Horrible purchase. There was nothing good to discuss in terms of me closing on my new home. The only good thing to talk about was that the warranty people were great at responding to issues because they had to see me many times in the first month of purchase. This is my second Lennar house, our experience with our 1st house in CO was outstanding, 2nd in TX is not good, very poor work Manship, QC extremely poor, baseboard is, in some places 1/4" off floor, just filled with a massive amount of caulk looks terrible, millwork is all dented, door frames cut way to short & filled in where frame meets door with a massive amount of caulk, door hinges painted white, paint already coming off

It’s kind of a long story but they basically stole money from me. They have been completely dishonest. Lied and kept giving me the run around. I am currently in the process of filing an official complaint with the Texas real estate commission. This is my second lennar home. My first home I purchased in Jarrell Texas was a very positive experience. The San Antonio location needs a serious overhaul.
