Sales group was good. Construction group was hamstrung by sub-contractors who seemed to care little for the buyer.

Anything I asked for was always a road block

We are very happy with our new home. We wished that our HOA was as responsive and involved as the Lennar builders have been. Issues that we have come across have been addressed by Lennar in a timely manner.

Customer care reps are difficult to reach Very slow to respond Hoa doesn’t have upto date info on services available in this new community Construction manager Travis is awesome —answer s the phone and goes out of his way to help

I went with an outside lender because they had a more competitive interest rate, which Lennar allows you to do. My original close date was 2/19. Due to a snow storm in Texas (A FEMA declared disaster) we were pushed to the following week 2/26. The appraisal company (hired by my Lender) was rescheduled for 2/23. The appraiser called to have the house be open and that they were on their way. They no showed. I couldn’t close on 2/26. This is where Lennar gets extremely unethical. Lennar tells me since I am “out of contract” at this point, that they are going to raise the purchase price of the home by $50,000. Mind you, it does not say in the contract 1. Where I am “out of contract” and 2. That they can increase the purchase price of the home. It does say if it is the Buyer’s default and buyer can’t close on time that they will charge $100/day until the home is closed on and 5% of the purchase price. (Mind you this is not $50,000). I met with the Lennar supervisor in my community (Maria R.) that has led me through the building/buying process starting back 7 months ago (Aug. ‘20) I expressed my concerns. She cried because she is ashamed of the company she works for. I also pointed out the core values of Lennar... they claim on their website they are of “Integrity, Value, Quality.” What is happening to me is complete LACK of Integrity. A falsehood of what they claim as a core value. An upper level manager (Edgar) gets back to me the next day and offers instead of 50,000$ increase, a 10,000$ increase. He says he can terminate my contract at anytime (which is true in the contract) and told me he can put my house on the market if I don’t take the 10,000$ increase. This occurred with no empathy expressed or willing to work with me due to the FEMA declared disaster snow storm. At this point, I have moved out of my apartment, I’m living with my parents. I have all of my belongings in storage. I have also been proactive through my whole building process. I put $1,000 for a down payment in good faith knowing I am serious about purchasing my home. I also wrote scriptures on the 2x4’s. I have been emotionally invested in my home. It is of very poor business practice for Lennar to handle my situation this way. A terrible experience for a first time home buyer. A true disappointment and total disgrace. It is clear Lennar is in it for the monetary gain only, not abiding by their core values whatsoever. I have let my colleagues, friends and family know of my poor and wrong experience with Lennar I will continue to share this awful experience on other social media platforms and review sites. ... Lennar is great home builder.

The experience overall has been great. Some warrantee work has been slow but not to bad. The house is great and we love it.

Hectic at times but overall very pleased. Hats off to Jorge, Wade, Cristina, and my sales rep Shay. All excellent people who take pride in their work and go the extra mile. My exp w/ Lennar Lending however was a complete joke. Quote from your lending rep “if you don’t like the interest rate you can go back to renting” —-excuse me?

Lennar's Customer service, on site staff and thorough organizational follow through has has proven to be their greatest asset. Add to that a well built home that I would gladly recommend.

We had several major issues that should not have occurred with a top builder. First, the sewer line was busted between the house and the sidewalk, backing up sewage. Lennar was fairly quick to respond, but it took two days to fix. Second, the grading and sod is terrible. Lennar has yet to fix it. Third, the alley way concrete is cracked and crumbling. Lennar has not fixed the concrete. Fourth, the alley approach is designed poorly and cars consistently run off the road causing deep ruts in the adjacent lawn areas. The Ring doorbell was installed missing parts that were taken to fix neighbor homes. It took Lennar over four months to fix the problem. The Ruckus WiFi did not operate on the first floor. It took a couple of months for Lennar to find and fix the problem. ... More

They assisted me in all or any problems I felt that needed attention. My sales rep. Ferguson Azilles was always on top of things on what we agreed and worked hard to get things going to close on our beautiful house.

Avoid buying move-in ready homes - you forego the ability to check their work before walls go up. Judging from the sloppy finishes, I wouldn't be surprised if there are latent issues that will arise down the line. Already, I'm dealing with failing grout (within a month of closing) that they attempted to use grout in a tube to fix. Of course it's not holding and they believe owners are clueless enough to believe this is an actual fix and literally stand there arguing (justifying) all the issues in the home.

The builders were very communicative and kept me updated on the progress and steps from time to time.

Everything included feature is awesome. Saved so much money on appliances, blinds, and more! Thank you :)

The Lennar staff is a pleasure to deal with. We feel we have an extremely high quality home. We have experienced no issues, but had a neighbor who had a little problem and Lennar attended to it promptly and efficiently. We highly recommend Lennar.

Builders are very attentive and helpful when resolving issues.
