Great Value for the price paid

Still waiting for repairs 120 days moved in.

Absolutely the worst. We’ve lived in our new home for 4 months and the entire house is a disaster. I’ve had dozens of work orders through the warranty. Most of the items were repaired poorly but many of them haven’t been fixed at all. As I type this I have 2 windows that need replaced, over 200 drywall patches that need to be sanded and painted, over 20 cracked floor boards, and a completely sanded staircase with No stain available to fix it. These are just a few of the issues off the top of my head. Every issue I’ve listed has had well over the 60 days lennar has to fix them. The homebuying experience was no joy either. The lennar realtor sent us the wrong contract and included features list, which we signed and went under contract with. Only to find out we didn’t have all the included items, like a refrigerator. When we asked he said he sent us the wrong contract and he would gladly sell our house to someone else if we wanted to continue trying to get the things promised to us in our contract. So we were forced to buy a new $3000 refrigerator on our own, even though our contract stated we’d get one from lennar. The experience with lennar is so bad that we’ve decided to move. We decided to build after searching all around Indy and other builders. Right from the start you could tell Lennar’s quality of home over others. We loved the 55+ concept! Just starting retirement it’s great to have a new home you don’t have to worry about or a yard to take care of! We can travel whenever the mood strikes us! The sales team sent us weekly updates and pictures of our home being built which was great as we were 3 hours away.

This is my first Lennar home and I love the layout and everything included concept. However, the company lacks the quality of work. They pushed to close on a home that was not ready. It’s been 4 months and my house is a mess. Problems with the house includes tearing out 14 feet of drywall, texture of the walls are terrible, mold in my downstairs bedroom that requires remediation, upstairs bathroom pan was loose and the pan was defective so they had to cut drywall from my garage to fix and replace the pan. The lanai and garage foundation has chunks of concrete chipped and missing. The banding on the exterior of the house and pavers still needs to be fixed and replace. I don’t expect a perfect house but everyone that has walked in it are shocked that it’s even a brand new home. Recently, i had to deal with the rudest customer care rep who barged into my home, banging on my walls to let me know that the blue tape on my wall is standard texture. I had to ask him to leave because he was irate. when he left my kids said that he had anger management. That is totally in acceptable to act like that regardless if you have a bad day or not. If anyone wants to see pictures or take a look at my home I would be happy to share. Example of how time consuming repairs are handled… plumbers comes to remove hardware on my sink, mirror guy remove mirror, granite guy install, plumbing reinstall and mirror guy puts my mirror up. Every job that is done requires a minimal of 6 appointments to inspect, remove and repair. unfortunately, not all contractors come on the same day with different issues in the home and it leads to weeks and months. The carpet in my house looks very worn, stained and dirty with everyone coming in and out. If things were done correctly in the first place, we wouldn’t have to fight for them to come back and properly do the job right. ... More

You have to double check to make sure issues are fixed properly to make sure things are working even thought they said everything is fixed…

High-quality construction, lots of add ons Ring, Smart thermostats, Windows shades, fans, garage and light fixtures came with our house, beautifully planned with great attention to detail. We are amazed at how fast Lennar build the house even with the bad weather. Other service people who have come for other odd jobs always comment on how solidly the house is built. The Lennar staff is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Overall, we would defiantly recommend Lennar to our family and friends.

The entire team, from sales to construction to welcoming are first rate!!!!

Our salesperson Susan made everything easy through the sale and is helpful after the sale with any questions or needs.

The overall purchasing and closing was great. I was kept informed throughout the process. The follow up on the numerous issues with the home has been tedious at best.

That lennar doesn’t follow thru on issues. Lennar has been procrastinating on a leak in my garage for well over a month. The pavers have been removed from the side of my garage. How can it take so long to fix a leak. There is now a tropical storm coming. I’m concerned about flooding and possible damage to the slab.

I have had many issues and, although they responded quickly, most of the issues have not been resolved after repeated tries. I’ve never had this bad of a n experience with a new home!

My backyard fence was only 5 foot high the entire neighborhood on my side having foot the bill to bring it up to 6 foot

They said trails and a pool. Have no idea when the pool will be started. They decided to make the rest of the trails not a hard surface. Very slow to act o. HOA requests. They left wire and the retaining cloth all through the backyard

Love my beautiful home.

Only issue is the abysmal site prep and landscaping on our lot. We have a pronounced drop off/slope in our backyard. We were advised that some basic ground covering could be expected come spring. Unfortunately all that appeared was clover and an assortment of weeds and nuisance grasses. Two trees were planted which didn’t didn’t survive to spring. Please be aware that Lennar does NOT provide any warranty on grass, plants, or trees after closing. If you have any concerns about greenery be sure to address those before you close.

Look behind all doors, cabinets, around windows inside and outside, behind commodes, all around garage.

One of our windows's glass is broken after 3 month purchase,the security system in the community can not figure out what happened.A little bit disappointed about what happened to our new home purchase.

Lennar mortgage was a hot mess. Will never use them again. Love my home but the workmanship was not up to what Lennar says their standards are. Horrible trim, drywall and painting. Door going to garage from inside the house installed crooked, light switches are not consistent throughout the house, clogged drains and broken tiles that had to be fixed after closing. They are at your beckon call until closing and then they are too busy to get back to you. It’s more about quality than quality for them. Just a few changes and attention to details could make a huge difference. Very disappointing because we love their floor plans. ... More

We closed in march and still don't have punch list completed. We are in process of having a GC provide a quote and seek legal counsel to proceed.

finishing of corner areas and fine points sub-standard. shower had to be re-caulked after a few months. bath tub is noticably not square. i measured it 1/2" off. the dividing wall between shower and tub is also crooked. noticable gaps between floor and bathroom cabinets. House was not cleaned prior to move-in. Window holes are also not cut square. Just waiting for something major to break as AC units, washing machines, and crown moldings issues are already happening in other homes in the neighborhood. Side yard sod was destroyed during the installation of the next door house. Someone threw down some sod, but it's not as nice as before. Garage door had a dent that was never addressed even though I contacted our "guy." Too many to write. ... More
