We moved in winter 2021- our grass is terrible and Lennar does not warranty the lawn. My dishwasher didn't work. I have already had service on my dishwasher and stove and have only been in the house 3 months. They put cheap light fixtures in. We have replaced all the fixtures in the house (or should I say the boob lights). You can see sheet rock lines on the ceilings. The back siding was not finished - but Lennar did come back out to fix. I personally don't think I would by a lennar home in the future.

In our experience, you have to be diligent about following up on any service requests because they’ll easily be forgotten by the Lennar representatives. It’s best to maintain all records in the form of pictures, emails, and text.

It seems to take a lot longer than expected to get problems resolved. Every step takes another two weeks. so we are still fixing problems

Material and quality of workmanship was really good for the price point

The Gastonia staff truly cared (Caitlyn, Sara, Brittany) and paid attention to detail. Great communication between everyone and was a wonderful experience being this was my first home build. I am very pleased with my home and have zero complaints. From initial signing to closing, everyone involved has been wonderful. Their preferred lender was wonderful to and have no complaints. Once you close and move in If there are any issues that need to be addressed they are fixed in a timely manner. Excellent service!!!

I love my new home, the little things that have gone wrong have been corrected quickly.

Layout and design is great however very disappointed in the sloppiness with workmanship and craftsmanship.

If you have any issues they correct them so you end up with a great home

From initial interest to moving in and beyond, we’ve dealt with well-informed, professional, friendly Lennar reps. We knew what to expect and when, questions answered promptly. Since moving in, there have been a few minor glitches, which have been quickly remedied. Impressive follow up from Lennar to be sure we are satisfied.

This was my second Lennar Home purchase. I love the fact that most important elements are included. Great quality

The construction was close to on time. The workers are very hard working. Our hom is beautiful

Our house has multiple issues. Brand new build. Mold, pool issues that Lennar installed, leaving windows, electrical and plumbing issues. Several calls, emails and texts. Six months. No resolution or attempt to correct. This community is new and other home owners have same complaints. Lennar is aware, but ignores.

The sales department was amazing. The mortgage department is lacking at best.

We can’t imagine that we could have made a better decision than building a Lennar home in Osborne Trails. While they are not flexible on changes, we have a home we are proud of, and have made it our own.

A little unhappy with quality of drywall install and sod could have been layed more evenly.

They answered all of our questions quickly. They stayed on top of all of the deadlines. They all had a happy attitude. The quality of the workmanship was very good compared to other builders that we looked at.

Great buying experience. However the building association is terrible at responding to your needs.

Post-ownership service has been great. Pre-ownership service was non-existent, therefore the low rating. The fact that we received one plat map that had been revised, but we weren't given a copy of the revision for over a month was cause for a law suit, which we elected not to do. They moved the foundation 4 feet which caused us to have to knock down a wall and move the a/c unit to bring equipment into the back yard for a pool build (at our expense). When asked before framing was completed, if the gate and a/c unit could be moved to the now "short side", we were told no. When asked if we could pay to have the garage insulated at the time of insulation, we were told no. There was no customer support prior to us taking ownership. As to quality? Painters need to be fired and who grouts in baseboards? ... More

We found a lot of mistakes and after being in the home for a few months we still see things that were not fixed but at this point, we are told that is cosmetic. We still have a big hole in our back yard which I've almost fallen a few times. Just received a letter in the mail that my CCD cost is going up and my monthly mortgage also went up. We still have no pool or playground as promised when we moved in but we have about 75 more new homes. Almost forgot to mention it took about two months for us to get a mail box and had to go to the post office every other day if we could make it before they closed. Home builder companies have many obstacles that can delay the progress for the required regulations of homes. Builders may take shortcuts in order to meet contract deadlines. Quick homes are built but not completely polished. Homebuyers are dissatisfied that they have to repair or fix items like appliances doors tiles...Builders should thorough check for workable appliances doors leaks cracks prior buyers ownership. Homebuyers stress the importance for interior design being functional and presentable.

Homes are satisfactory. Resolution of punch list takes entirely too long.
