First off and let me say that is review is just a summary of the problems. Lennar forgot to finished installing the proper parts for the heater so when my family and I decided to run the heat, it didn’t work The AC had to be fixed 3 times since moving in and I’ve only been in the house for 6 months. Tile crack The glaze on the tile in the shower is pealing. Their contractors that do work on the homes never show up on time or they decide to show up when ever they want. When we first bought our home in May of 2019, we were told we did not need flood insurance because the area wasn’t a flood zone area, fast forward to Sep 2019 with tropical storm imelda, we were under water! So many of our neighbors lost their homes, we had to be rescued because water was rising, my brand new 2019 vehicle got flooded 2 weeks after buying it, just such an emotional event to go through, and the saddest part is all my neighbors were told the same thing about flood insurance. From incorrect colors and finishes to horrible, dead landscaping and a completely unresponsive contractor, we loved the process but were left with a home that was not exactly what we picked nor what we envisioned.

Our home has a lien

To no fault of our own we have a lien on our new home. We're not sure what's happening and have had a couple of different stories. We've been in the home 5 months and this issue is still not resolved.

Love the home, hate the process

We have now been in our new home for 4 months. The home buying process with the sales staff was a nightmare. We have had similar experience with the home warranty staff. Claims have been submitted but many have not been fulfilled. We love the home, we love the area, but we wish more care would have been put into our home and the building process.

Lennar has changed the beginning of recreation building 3 times. The also can't control the contractors who block driveways, blast music all day and toss garbage on lawns daily.

Cracked windows not fixed

Horrible Experience

I’m still waiting for repairs to be completed from my closing over four months ago. In addition I’m in the middle of fighting tooth and nail to get someone out to repair a roof leak that has caused extensive water damage and now black mold which has rendered three rooms in my house unable to be used. My kids are crammed into other rooms now. I’ve documented everything and even called management multiple times with now follow up. The entire process has been horrendous as a first time home buyer.

The workmanship was poor at best, the sales staff and closing were a disaster, the follow up with repairs has been, let's just say a nightmare. Some things still are not fixed and if I had to guess are not going to get fixed unless I pay for someone to fix them. Everything included does not mean everything... but they fail to tell you what normal things are not included. I am afraid to see what is going t happen to this house in say 5 years, I think most mobile homes are constructed better.

Lennar - Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house

Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

Horrible repair and maintenance

1) Lawn was horrible at the time of closing. After 1 that I was told that it was layed months back without any property maintainanice. Due to this I have pay the expenses to replace it. 2) Restroom and others have issues 3) newly installed fridge needs repair Overall not happy of getting a brand new house and get these issues frequently

First and LAST Lennar home

Too many imperfections caused by fast and sloppy workmanship. The entire process is rushed from start to finish. Everywhere I look I find issues with finishing touches. We just moved in and we're already thinking about selling.

The whole experience was horrible. From the loan application to the walk-through. The company in my view cuts corners in their building. Not transparent about the HOA and what the HOA requires. Such as having to submit an application for landscaping. It’ felt like to me that Lennar is all about selling a house. Not providing transparency. The quality of the home is bad, everything was made rushed. One issue comes up after another. The construction managers drive around the neighborhood texting and driving not even looking up on the road since there is still contruction going on. There are kids on the neighborhood and its dangerous to let them out.

Co-Signing for my granddaughters financing

As a co-signer, most of the questions are not applicable to me. Since you force me to fill in the blank, you are getting what you asked for. Also, the display name is incorrect but that may be just as irrelevant. What I will comment on was the financing. I felt as though I was dealing with a kindergarten drop out. Many items were asked for three or four times, and the harassing tone rose to the level of sarcasm. If my granddaughter wasn't so set on the house I would likely have told someone to check where the sun doesn't shine. AND you may print what I have said.

I am local to the home office, but was forced to close via remote video. Therefore no one was face to face to hand me the keys to my home. I asked how this would be handled and was assured they would have my keys at the neighborhood model home. I reached out to them after closing and was assured someone would be at the model home to provide me my keys that afternoon until 630PM, I drove the 45 minutes to the model home and no one was there. Me and my family where in process of buying a new construction from them, well once all came down to paperwork the appraiser under praised it AND THEY WOULDNT BUDGE! You would think we’ll sale th house to us for that price he “appraised” it for shoot I’ll even settle for 10k over appraisal! BUT, not lennar lol noooooo they CANCELLED ALL PAPERWORK TERMINATED OUR HOME BUYING PROCESS THE ONLY GOOD WAS GETTING OUR MONEY BACK! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY OR ANYTHING FROM THEM! I bought Lennar Home Second time. Once I moved in the New house. After one month later so many quality issues are appeared in this house. when I did the service request. The Customer service Representative are so unprofessional and they are omitting the reputation of Lennar Home Builder. They are just making the customer upset rather than help them. I recommend all my Friends and relatives not to buy any Lennar Homes in Future. its Quality and services are very low day by day. Investing money to buy Lennar Home is now Powering water on the sand.
