I love the truth. I was deceived when I bought the house. I was told that if I bought an average townhouse, it would come with appliances. But when I agreed, they told me that they wouldn't let me buy it with appliances. Self-respecting companies don't do that.

Lennar's motto is "Everything is included" I just got done buying 6,500 dollar gutters, and 1000 dollars worth of ceiling fans because they didn't bother putting either of those in the home. A 16 dollar light in the bedrooms would have given us light, but they wanted to save money. Pavers without polymeric sand? just set them on the ground and leave huge gaps. I don't have working street lights on the entire street I live on. The backyard is nothing but weeds with no sprinklers, the HOA is oppressive with rules you can't imagine. if you want to feel like you are living in a town house ...

Team at Lennar will not even resolve issues that were pointed out before closing. Their VP told us to take it or leave it as they are not going to repair the fixes we pointed out. Worst experience ever with home buying, would never recommend

Truly the most nightmare experience ever. Just 1.5 months in, I need more fingers just to count the amount of problems I’ve encountered with this house and the whole process. I truthfully regret ever buying this house, and would not recommend Lennar to anyone ever.

Make sure you do inspections before you close. Understand and agree on floor plan before signing purchase agreements. Pay attention to walk through and take notes, after that you are on your own.

We bought a brand new house from Lennar. This is a great little house. Perfect for our lifestyle. We opted to purchase the washer and dryer with the house. Washer works fine. Dryer came missing a filter, filter frame, and a humidity sensor. If you use the dryer without a filter frame and filter, your clothes get sucked into and behind the drum. Lennar will not fix or replace the dryer. They say, it’s LG’s responsibility. We have lived here without a working dryer for almost 2 months. Lennar will not communicate or support the homeowner. My whole experience was horrible. From start to end. Even after I closed the house was gross, the construction guy did not fixed the window that I pointed out during my last walk. They took forever to do the final city inspection even after I had already closed on the house. My gas was cut off because no one informed me that the city had done the inspection several weeks after I closed even though I would call weekly and could never get answers. Lennar home buying experience

Lennar dropped the ball so many times during my home purchase. To start the real estate agent lacked communication which made us lose the original home we wanted. Then the home later fell out of escrow so we asked to bid on it again. Lennar took 5 full days to respond and tell us they sold the home again! We lost it a second time. Then On the home inspection walk through we pointed out numerous deficiencies that were noted and supposed to be fixed by the close of escrow which was 1 week later. I am extremely concerned that my garage door issue has still not been fixed. The garage door came off the track, one of the wheels broke, and it damaged the wall. Your technician already visited, took photos and videos, but I have received no updates or timeline for the repair. This is a serious safety and security risk. For two weeks I have been forced to sleep with my garage door completely open, which puts my family and property in danger every single night. This situation is unacceptable.

Buying from Lennar has been one of the most frustrating experiences. They rushed the build of our home, clearly more focused on putting up houses for numbers than on quality. Items on walk through list were only partially completed - for example sealing of door gaps. Tile floors throughout were spotted with glue and paint splatter and not cleaned. Wall paint is horrible - gently wiping removes existing paint. Master shower floor grout is a different color near drain and we were told it was soap scum after 2 showers. No it was not - scrubbing by us changed nothing. Pantry shelving was cut too long and not in the cradle hardware. This should not have taken weeks to remedy. NEVER BUY FROM LENNAR

Lennar is the only affordable builder in San Antonio and they take advantage of that distinction. Lowest quality builder grade materials are used. Construction manager lied three different times that issues identified by third-party inspector were resolved. Later, he couldn't distinguish between main water line or hot/cold water lines. Internet service is mandatory so that builder receives a kickback for every new buyer and it is NOT included in your HOA fees. There is an additional monthly charge. Don’t assume that just because every single house within a giant property being constructed (think Altamira in Homestead Florida) is a beautiful shade of cream with brown and tan details, that your own pre construction place will match. This is our third brand new home and we’ve been consistently disappointed with the quality of the Lennar home. Cheap carpet, no handles on any cabinets, dirty when we moved in, cabinets hung so high that the top shelves are unreachable (we’ve never had cabinets that were placed so oddly high), extremely loud furnace in the middle of the home. Zero stars. Disappointed buyer.
