Terrible Builder!!! You are just a number. Changed finish products without notification. Used more inexpensive and cheaper materials. Numerous examples; 2 foot on center studs in house not 16”, very shorty workmanship. No cold water due to water for complex coming from water tank on mountain, not disclosed! Endless issues. Would NOT recommend Lennar to anyone!

Lennar emphasizes that Sod is not covered under warranty. Understandable! However, what they don’t tell you is they will come and tear your yard up (digging and whatnot) and won’t even notify the home owner. What they won’t tell you is that they’ll replace all the damage done by construction at the lowest priority I’ve even experienced. We were told our oven was brand new (we found a scratch on it before signing and told them we wanted it replaced). They covered the scratch so we didn’t know it was the same one and shipped us a new door AFTER WE SIGNED so it wasn’t covered under warranty ...

Everything went great during the home buying process. I have two mortgages with them. One was for the main mortgage and the second was for down payment assistance. Both mortgages were supposed to be transferred to the servicing company at the same time. However, they screwed up on the first mortgage which delayed sending it over to the servicing company. For my first month's payment, I had to pay the first mortgage with Lennar and the second mortgage with the new servicing company. Lennar now says I didn't make the payment for the second mortage. They have dinged my credit as a result ...

I have many things to say about Lennar — my experience has truly been the worst ever. During the home-buying process, I constantly had to follow up with Lennar staff just to get answers to my questions. Their customer service was poor, but unfortunately, the worst was yet to come. On closing day, Lennar was supposed to pay my hazard insurance through the escrow account — but they didn’t. My policy was at risk of cancellation. Had A completely terrible experience due to Moving in 2 Months ahead before I ever even had grass installed. Terrible as far as overall Experience Definitely Started out with a great Experience until I moved in then it was like you purchased we no longer care about you. The entire process was negative. The salesperson was clueless. The loan officers were unprofessional. The construction manager was helpful. The title person would not return my call. She gave me the wrong cost to closing. I can not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Lennar has been a very disappointing experience. Their communication is terrible, the seller, lender, and processors don’t work together as a team. Instead of being on the same page, they go back and forth, pass the blame, and create unnecessary delays. The loan officer was not professional or nice to deal with, and overall customer service has been poor. On top of that, the workmanship of the house is not impressive. Buying with Lennar has been an absolute nightmare. There have been so many issues, I don’t even know where to begin. On my initial walk-through, I found over 30+ issues. By the second walk-through (which they scheduled the same day as closing), many items were still not completed. On closing day, I had a notary scheduled at my home at 12pm. Quality not that great. Never ever go with Lennar mortgage whatever promotional offer is given. They’ll drag you until the very last moment to give so many surprises and you’ll not be able to get the full promotional offer and you’ll feel cheated.

Lennar did not provide quality workmanship during the build process. Multiple issues and after the fact warranty claims. Cracked concrete, dented garage doors, poor drywall and trim quality, damaged cabinets, condensation on fireplace glass, unable to cool upstairs with size of AC unit, no electrical junction box, missing stud in wall, damaged stair railing, yard retaining water, dead landscaping, and more.

Lennar charges a premium price and uses the cheapest material and labor and it shows. I am SO disappointed and have major regret for building this home. Gave responsiveness 2 stars - they do respond - but, nothing changes - your told that's how it is.

Robyn was the only great and helpful person in the entire process who response to calls. As it stand I don’t even know who to call to activate my solar panels and paying close to $500 for electricity bill. I hope I get a better experience.

Probably the worst home buying experience we have ever had. The lack of communication between the sales, title, mortgage, and construction team is unbelievable. The property we originally had under contract was advertised on their website with a set of finish selections, which we were told were incorrect by the time we received the contract. There were things wrong prior to and after closing on 6/10/25, not to mention taking weeks to get the CCRs because they weren't included in closing, and another week for Exhibit A that included my lot. So many of the issues stemmed from the home being on a corner and ALL services with the city, utilities, post office, etc. was the side road of the house instead of the legal address at the front of the house. I had a letter returned to me stating invalid address when set to my house and it took over a month to get ATT and move other utilities to my name. Lennar originally put the wrong numbers ...

Our experience with sales team was horrible (worst than used car salesmen). They use bait and switch tactics. I was sold a house which they said had 2731 sq. ft. house and upon closing we found out that house was 44 sq. ft. smaller. They claim that measurement can vary from house to house. I would not recommend buying a house at all. I would prefer to go with other builders such as Toll Brothers.

Very disappointed with AC issues

Very disappointed and huge loss because the builder delivered a home without a functioning AC. Our tenant moved in but found AC was acting funny during the hot summer in sacramental area, and it took three trips and several weeks to seemingly solving the problem. The tenant had to stay in hotels and there is no cost recovery for the owner's cost. So much pain!!! I wish no one can experience the nightmare that we had.
