I bought two homes from Lennar, experience was same, first I though it was oneoff or mistake, second home also same experience. Sales associate was excellent, load process was good. Title & escrow experience was worst, there was not even one email or phone call communication, both transaction was not closed on date it was mention, no communication, no one picks phone or return to voice mail or email. First of all we songs the house to ourselves. Wen they wanted something we had to jump but when asked yo provide for our needs, crickets. On closing day they rushed us. Shame on me as the house was not ready. The quality of some of the workmanship was shabby. I had a fire alarm just hanging, I fixed it myself. Unpleasant experience overall. Felt very rushed and like all Lennar staff was too busy to take a second and explain the home buying process to me. Lots of unanswered questions and just neglect as a customer in general. Maintenance warranty requests take a while. Ronaldo is someone who stands out as he was extremely condescending and unhelpful.

Lied to us to get us to buy sooner, lost over 4K breaking our lease. Lawn either dead or dying when we moved in. Many issues with home itself, who puts a vent directly above the shower so air blows on you when you are in said shower? Nothing but complete regret buying this home, if we were not desparate to get out of renting we would have walked away. Should have looked at other options.

Overall it was a terrible experience. No help what so ever. Our home was never cleaned, swept, vacuumed when we closed. Paint still on the windows and floors. Plumbing is terrible, our stove/oven stopped working 3 days in to the move. Guest toilet stopped working a day into the move. Spider every where, walls are very thin you hear everything. What stinks the most is that there is no communication. We had so many unanswered questions, prior to the close and still do. Never going with Lennar ever again. Do not make the same mistake we did.

We were so excited to buy our first home. The price was right! The sales agent was very attentive. We were pre-approved and ready to get the process started. We paid our escrow and were committed. That’s where things started to go downhill. Because once they have that commitment they can do whatever they want and throw customer service to the wind. Our pre-approval turned into “you don’t meet all the requirements and will need a co-signer”. Terrible experience, can’t get into touch with Lennar for any help whatsoever, no one responds or returns voices. Many issues, a major one being locked out of the gate of my home community for multiple weeks because NO gate clickers or codes were provided at closing.

Was always told never to buy this builder by multiple realtor friends but went ahead anyways because I liked the house itself. Getting a response or getting them to take care of pressing issues was like pulling teeth. If you’re not prepared to continuously harass them for a response on any issue you have don’t buy here. Lennar Homes needs to be investigated for shady unethical business practices. They sold me a home that they appraised at $545,000 and 2 days after I closed they reduced the sales price for the same exact home for $495,000, $50,000 less than I paid 2 days prior. Not only that the quality and workmanship is so bad that I'm not sure its safe. The first night I went to turn the bathroom light on and the plate/cover came off and then got hit with a bolt of electricity that didn't feel good to say the least. I bought 2 homes and had the worst experience with Marshall the loan officer. He treated us like 2nd rate citizens and gate kept the entire process. We are seasoned home purchasers and have never had this worse of an experience. Derek the construction manager was also awful. The house was supposed to be ready for a final walkthru and wasn’t ready, we had to come back. He was complacent and really uncaring. I will do my business with another home builder than Lennar.

Lots of issues. Poor craftsmanship and design. Took us many times of requests to simply fix a door handle. Lots of things are not covered. Windows are scratched up and they won’t take responsibility. Gas was leaking the day we moved in. Dishwasher was dented. Rep said she would replace but later we found that order was never placed. We need to keep following up. They also are being cheap and always try to omit simple, essential items, even if it’s visible (imagine if things are hidden, what would happen). Construction, walk through, finance… terrible experience. The amount of times I have had to reach out to the warranty dept is embarrassing. Although this warranty team is great- why are they repairing things on a new home? Finance team, construction team manager…. Need to do better.
