Staff was and is very nice and professional.

The builder did a good job in making these homes very attractive, although there are some quality issues concerning safety that are disturbing, I am enjoying my new home while waiting for these issues to be resolved.

get a closing date included in contract if possible and penalties if possible. These people should be more responsive to people spending their money. No reason for these major delays that cost me in excess of $5000 . for temp housing. Im sure that this survay will go no where, and nothing done for me or the next person,

The process of building a home was smooth with regular updates from the construction manager and new home consultant. We were briefed almost every week on the progress being made. However, there were numerous errors in the build. Framing issues, incorrect finish materials, etc. that were caught by us and not the construction manager. Work had to be redone. This was a bit concerning, as it was apparent attention to details was not happening. The lack of keeping the trades accountable for acceptable and correct work translated in us closing on a home that had a wall that needed major repairs, stairs being re-stained, a poorly stained front door, and poorly painted and finished parts of the home. All of this should have been caught before we closed on the home. Lennar was so fixated on keeping the original closing date, work was rushed. Quick and Quality are not usually compatible. This has made our warranty consultant have to work extra hard to rectify all the issues that should have happened in the build phase. Plus it has been extremely inconvenient to our family to deal with drywall dust and construction after we've moved in. I will say Lennar has made good on all the issues we've found after move in and done it with a great attitude. That is a plus for them standing by their product. However, Lennar really needs to up their game on quality control during the build phase. Overall, I am happy with the house. Would we build with Lennar again? We are leaning toward no. ... More

It was easy and in eventful from start to finish.

We had a great experience with Lennar. The entire process was so easy! We bought our house remotely from another state, and it was no big deal. We were able to do all of our meetings over the phone, or the computer. It was overall an easy and wonderful home buying experience. We love our home!

If you want a quick build with tons of issues and half butt work? Go with Lennar! Fit and finish is embarrassingly bad. Having Lennar fix the grout in the master because the workers stained it with moody shoes. At first they weren’t going to fix but thank God for the amazing people in warrenty. That’s about all that’s good with Lennar is their warranty department. Guess they needed a good one with all the issues they have. Walls aren’t straight, base boards are wavy and/or chipped with paint just put over top, paint everywhere on everything. Looks like a Jackson Pollock painting until I had to clean it. Floors can’t let water stand because the seams will swell (cheap), interior doors are all splitting on the sides, appliances...guess what? Cheap as cheap gets. Had to have them come blow more insulation above a 2nd floor room because it literally had none! Framing lumber used is #2 lumber (cheap). I would ask the builder questions as to why the rafters were crooked, he would literally shrug his shoulders and not respond. Weird response from the guy who’s building my home possibly? 0/10 would not buy again or recommend. I will be moving out of this house before 10 years because I know this house will have structural issues. First big hurricane we get, house may not be here. Take some pride in your work Lennar! Everyone at Lennar sales, mortgage and service Team has been great throughout the sale and moving process. While there were a couple issue here and there with the new house (re-caulking needed, hot water valve issue), Lennar's Team has been very responsive and quick to solve them. The house and neighborhood have been overall great so far, loving the new area and amenities!

workmanship and materials could be better

My advice to new home owners is to read the fine lines of the contract as well as have it independently evaluated. Home was contracted to be delivered in December and did not receive until January therefore delayed in homestead and could not qualify for homestead until 2022. Also had to have pods for furniture storage that cost additional storing expenses as well as labor expenses. Being a first time home owner from out of state found that lot of things were not done properly. Floors were of poor quality. Never have a vinyl floor installed as it is extremely difficult to clean and never given an option to chose the floor; No towel rack in master shower room or medicine cabinets in any bathroom or safety grab bar either. shower pan in master bedroom does not drain properly as it has to be squeegeed as pool of water retains, lawns are not properly sod as there is a lot of uneven ground; even the valves do not drain properly and had to be fixed. My suggestion is to have a good experienced quality check done by the builder and not get brushed off by their coordinators for the area as they don't like to do and that makes home owners not happy. Lennar is quick to respond to inquiries always returns your call in a timely manner. We love our new home and have spoke to almost all our neighbors everyone seems to be so happy and excited.

The Carpet in my master bedroom has paint stains on it and is very dirty from all the construction workers. Lennar should have it professionally cleaned, after all I bought a brand new condo with a brand new carpet, it should look like one, and it doesn't ! I feel cheated !

That their buying/building process excludes updates and input from the buyer. Other similar developer/builders in the area DEEPLY INVOLVE the buyer...to make the new home experience a joy....NOT what we stepped into

Very sloppy work. On final walk thru, resistance to repairing damaged issues. Poor quality appliances, dryer broke down after 1 week. It took 1 month to have it repaired.

The way the house is built, you’d think you were getting a $150k home but it costs you $300k+. Unfortunately the people doing the work do not care about their quality of work and unfortunately the Managers who are supposed to oversee the work are either not here or don’t have the experience to understand what’s wrong. We didn’t know the questions to ask but now that we know, we wouldn’t build with this builder again.

They make my dream to have my first home purchase true, they work on help me also when my credit was hurt, their knowledge and help make it happens. Isn’t a easy process but im really happy for what they accomplish in my purchase.

Lennar took care of everything we needed with a beautiful home.

Too many open issues in house and no respond from Lennar. Never buy house from Lennar.

I had never built a home before, but Lennar made the experience easy. My salesperson overpromised on what could be delivered. He told me I could extend my patio & add a flood light. It was written on the documents I initially signed, but one month before I closed I was told that was no longer possible. I was also told that landscaping would be put in to cover the ATT box & that never happened. Overall, had a great experience. I just wish they would have been upfront and honest about what they could (or couldnt) do ahead of time.
