One of the worst experiences of new construction I’ve ever had. Quality of materials are subpar. Communication was lacking and the staff is absolutely rude. Had to fight to get a reinspection paid for because of Lennar’s negligence. They didn’t even have the a/c unit on during inspection and found a leak on initial walk through then found out on the second inspection from inspector that a/c breaker was not correct 30A instead of 60A. No exterior lights no interior lights in bedrooms. There were many more issues ans well! Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had! Never buying Lennar again!

I strongly advise against purchasing from this builder. The quality of construction is subpar, and they cut corners wherever possible. They use the cheapest materials, and additional bedrooms are not even equipped with proper lighting or electrical access for light. Basic necessities like a toilet paper holder are also not provided. Water leaks, particularly in the showers, are a persistent issue. Their portal for scheduling virtual appointments is unreliable, and they frequently close tickets automatically, claiming "no response from the user," even when that's not the case. The lack of ...

Had a severe hot water pipe leak a day after moving in. Lennard’s customer rep assured us we’re not responsible for repairs, including a $790 third-party plumbing job on Sunday. Despite numerous email requests, Lennar ignored us.

Terrible process. Rushed us into closing and had to postpone the closing 4 times because the house was not ready each time! Matter of fact.. even after postponing twice, we had our inspection done by an independent inspector and had over 140 items to be fixed/repaired or to be completed at that point! Will Never Buy a Lennar Home Ever Again

Lennar required me to use their mortgage company even though I had negotiated in the contract to use my own mortgage company. If I used my mortgage company, Lennar would not honor the contract by rescinding the negotiated $17k in Seller Concessions, or would cancel the contract and keep my $30k in Earnest Money. One month late, Lennar Mortgage finally got loan approval. But they wanted $10k extra in loan costs. Disappointing Communication and Invasive Finance Process

Briefly, Communication throughout the loan, construction and closing process was poor - in some cases, non-existent. But Lennar will hold you to their dates with threats of penalties ... but when they miss a date, that's just how it is ... even if you had travel planned on those dates. The loan process was invasive as any process I've ever experienced; they should make the customer aware that an asset-based loan (which they don't offer with their promotions) would work for many customers vs. an income-based loan.

I wouldn’t trust Lennar to build a tiny home for a dog. Let alone another home for me. The saleswoman lied and was terrible, the construction team lied and made excuses for everything, the craftsmanship of this entire home is complete trash. We requested our earnest back when the backyard fell in and were told no- when you all to date have done nothing to fix it. The soil is so terrible back there the trees behind the home can’t even withstand a normal rainy day.

Compared to my previous experiences with well-known home builders, working with Lennar was a nightmare. From start to finish, it was clear that their only priority was the bottom line. We had to constantly push for people to do their jobs, and when we did, the responses were unprofessional and inadequate. This also extends to the people who were supposed to respond to our complaints—there was no accountability. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

I am very scared about the stability of my new home. Poor quality of wood and other materials 1. Foundation concrete is not strong due to lack of steel structure please visit Wilson houses for reference how they use steel structure in the Foundation 2. No structural supervision by manager. It is your luck how they build 3. No use of 5×3 or 6x4 wood for top of windows and all attached 2x3 Poor quality wood 4. I am very disappointed with quality 5. Worst Construction Company in History

Probably the worst construction company I’ve worked with. False promises and poor construction quality. Promised us few things when signing the contract which were later modified to cheaper options / alternatives. We paid million dollars for this home and the quality and build materials are the cheapest ones on the market. Price gouging everywhere possible while not even providing bare minimum quality. False promises as well. Will never ever buy a Lennar home or recommend to any of my friends and family. You lost a customer.

Cheating, Deception and Cheap - Playing with buyers

Absolute cheating where the sales associates don't disclose anything and just showing a model house which is built with quality, I am sure the home is going to collapse soon. Flushing water in the bathroom will create a Dolby digital sound across and Lennar being a big company playing cheap with HOA operators and this is not good at all and it is our fate to come and end here.

If this time my options were more open I would not have bought from Lennar. All employees and associates are irresponsible and does business as if they didn’t want customers or wouldn’t do business ever again. Their knowledge was shocking in many instances lying to me. The craftsmanship and details of the build is way below bar. Over all very regretful experience. Would never recommend.

I advise that you request and read the HOA bylaws before purchase as it states we can only have a 4 foot aluminum picket fence. Never spoke with the same person before buying. Left wife off title despite being told to put her on it. Communication was the worst ever. Deadlines never met yet I was rushed to do my parts. Landscaping not put in when originally told. Builder took forever to finalize final inspection for city because of landscaping delay. This prevented me from getting utilities moved into my name until two weeks after signing. Kitchen base boards not attached to anything. Paint is terrible quality and is easily marked and damaged. Home buying process was stressful and no one from Lennar was helpful.

Lennar wants to use the excuse of being a production builder for major quality issues. They do not even adhere to their own quality standards. The finish work is atrocious. When the door manufacturer comes in your house & is appalled by how nothing is plumb so none of the interior doors sit properly in the frame with large gaps visible, it is really sad. They make their garages so small you cannot park a standard size SUV in it. The paint they use is so cheap that 4 coats did not cover pencil written measurements on trim pieces. Was promised several options for internet in this area by the customer support manager and PDF. Bought the home and moved in to discover I only have 1 option and it’s the worst internet provider in the area. After the initial work through areas that needed to be approved weren’t address by the time we did a 2nd walkthrough. I have coworkers that were looking to buy in the area and have drove them away from Lennar after my terrible experience.
