The mortgage process was onerous, horrendous and designed for Lennar, NOT the customer After holding 4 FHA mortgages, we will never do business again with Lennar NOR EVER recommend to others!! Workmanship and materials are cheaply done and poor spackling/sheetrock work and zero satisfaction to our numerous requests to FIX!! Our floors are horrendous ... they literally colored in our kitchen floor with crayon before we moved in!!! Sheetrock had to be repeatedly repaired and is STILL unacceptable! If we didn't have medical family crisis going on in our lives right now, we would be doing ...

Very unprofessional and inexperienced construction managers with zero value addition or supervision. Subcontractors are all free to do or not to do what they want or not want.

Lazy & sloppy work found all over new house

We were originally offered a chance to get a lower interest rate and then right before closing were told that there was no way to even consider lowering the interest rate, but it was kinda too late at that point for us. Our closing date was miscommunicated to us and after planning move out dates at our other place and setting up installation appointments at the new place, this delay in closing caused us to have to rush back and forth to get everything moved in half the time we expected to have. Disappointing and Dissatisfied

Our initial sales agent Corina was perfect. Attentive and responsive Since then we have had nothing but problems. Plumbing leaks, painting issues, cabinet issues,, irrigation, counters and in trying to fix your problems your people have damaged our personal possessions. Oh and by the way one bathroom sink fell from the counter this morning. That is not all the issues we have put in for repair just what I can remember at the moment. Lennar has taken what was supposed to be a great experience and ruined it and taken 800k as well. Not something I will be recommending. Quite the opposite

Quality issues especially with the electrical components of the home. Fuses blow every other day and at the moment, our electric car cannot be charged because the 220V plug does not bring juice to the electric car charger. Its an every day task to go out to the garage and reset a fuse that tripped in various rooms of the house. The final delivery of the home keys was ridiculous. We were rushed into buying a home and selling ours at a lower price then we wanted. We were told if we weren't under contract within 2 weeks that our interest rate would jump from 5% to 7.2%. A week after we got a contract, lennar was advertising 4.5%. The upstairs is hot because dampners went set correctly and my furnace/AC leaks in the basement

We had a very bad experience from beginning to end. The only reason we stayed with Lennar was because of the property. We have had issues with the mortgage, title, and builders. With in one week of moving in we had to have our AC unit replaced. Kitchen sink continues to slowly drain and we are told that nothing is wrong with it. I would not recommend this company to anyone

worst experience ever!!

We purchased a house end of May. We had 2 closing walkthroughs and put different colored painters tape up. Almost 60 days later, repairs still haven't been made. They keep telling me it will get fixed. I have spoken to 7 different representatives of the company, and my house is still in shambles. Leaky basement, dings and Knicks, walls that wave, scratches in the floor, hvac not hooked up, plus many more problems. The experience was horrible, our realtor Kem was not good. He did not do a good job. Lack of information and communication. Things were half done in our home. If we could go back we wouldn’t buy from lennar.

Out of good faith we accepted the house with many things still not fixed that we saw on the initial walk through and the final. After escrow was closed we were tossed out the priority list. Many many things that had to be fix as expected, disappointment came when I had to chase down the warrant people for every single thing that had to be fixed, some of the stuff took weeks to be fixed and some other we had to be very persistent to get them fix. We are beyond disappointed after spending half a million dollars on a home where the walls aren’t square, nail pops all over the house, the pendant lights are not center over the bar, and we have nothing but dead grass outside. Awful experience. Wouldn’t do it again, and I wish we backed out of the deal.

Company reps had no concern about customers, only keeping on schedule and selling a house. Build quality was not very good. Final cleaning was non existent. Company did not respond to issues we brought up on our final walkthru, only their own. Would never recommend them to anyone else

I was rushed during the entire process and given false promises. I was lied about being able to back out of the deal if I didn’t feel comfortable, Lennar representatives threatened me with legal action and withholding my deposit if I backed out of a home that was of terrible quality and the worst workmanship I’ve ever seen in a new build. The communication was good only until they got me to sign the contract, which the representative forced me to sign without reading. He skipped over significant details when he “went over it” with me, especially the part where I could not back out of the home ...

Compared to other home builders, Lennar falls short. Lennar's saying "Everything is Included" should be changed to "Nothing is Included." You want to customize Ethernet Cables in the house? NOPE. Rain Gutters? NOPE. In fact, all the stuff that IS included is the standard stuff you get for free, except it's probably the lowest quality materials/products available. The "quartz" type material used for the countertops is a nightmare to clean. If you spill anything on it, it will absorb it and stain as if it was permanent marker. I am surprised at how the quality of LENNAR has gone down, at the level of customer service it is a disaster and at the level of construction the people in charge seem not to be qualified for those job positions, such as the Construction manager, it is outrageous that a builder like Lennar is currently in such poor and disappointing circumstances.

Our sales person mislead us and we received no support from any Lennar leadership. Our initial loan agent seemed to have minimal understanding and provided no guidance. After moving in, our work orders have received very slow response and unprofessional communication. Poor craftsmanship has been shrugged continuously.
