Lenar Agent sold for 30000 extra then homes in same area, no quality materials , crack in foundation,silings everything cheap. Construction managers not doing quality checks. Found more then 20 issues before closing,due to 60 days have to send list for correction

Disappointed is the nicest word I can use. Maryanne in sales couldn't answer any questions; Alex in mortgage started out fine but then wouldn't respond to voicemail or emails; Title called on a Sunday night and said we had to sign on Monday (because apparently we don't have jobs or lives). Courtney who did our walk was amazing. She was proactive, thorough, and professional. Paul who met with us about our warranty was also great; very knowledgeable and helpful.

Since Day 1 when I made the final walk everything has been a complete bad experience, the first thing the contractor told me when I made claims for details of the house is that I was not buying something customer, I moved with a kill in my garden that lasted more than 1 month in being able to be changed, 3 weeks ago I had a flood in the room below and they even blamed me for doing damage to the property, mojo the carpet in the room and they went today to check it and apparently the girl who was has Covid since he says that it has no smell, even though I was told that they were going to change ...

AC systems installed do not work as they should

I complained that my new AC system doesn't cool down in the afternoons & they claim it's normal as long as its 20 degrees cooler inside than outside so 80 degrees homes with 100 degree weather outside is normal to them & they won't fix regardless of the so called warranty. I'm 1 of MANY neighbors with the same complaint left to accept these hot conditions.

Terrible, terrible experience all around with this builder. I closed on a property by Lennar. I called the City of Dallas Water Utility service on the next business day and was told a building permit remained opened on the property. I notified the construction manager promptly as well as Lennar Warranty service, only to be told that it will be addressed on that week, then the week after, and every week I got the same story. I had to inform them that I needed to move in and gave them a few weeks to figure it out, but as long as the permit remains open the City wouldn’t allow me to establish ...

while we like the floorplan, the location of the development, and the view we have from our back lanai, the poor quality of construction, Lennar's slow response to issues and general poor attitude toward customers leaves a great deal to be desired. We cant in good conscious recommend Lennar, and sadly would suggest those looking, look elsewhere

Lennar homes are terrible quality, seems like builder just rush their work and use the cheapest material as possible. Foundation cracks have appeared and have made my floor rise and lennar says that there is no foundation issue. Even after I have had my own third party foundation company tell me there are problems. Will never buy a lennar home again.

I will never recommend buying from Lennar. This company is a joke. The communication between the construction crew for walk throughs, the agents, and the loan officers is so laughable. The construction is crap. During the first walk through, nothing was cleaned up and the inspection couldn’t be completed because of this. More things were broke between the first walk through and the final walk through but Lennar didn’t want to fix it, because it wasn’t on the original walk through. They broke it AFTER the walk through. We were told we could lay soaker hoses down because the grass was dying and ...

I was sold one thing the day of the contract and delivered another on closing day. Walls and ceiling look like waves. Unfinished walls and poor customer service.over 2 months after closing no solutions or repairs.

Individuals would approve, then reject, then approve and ultimately wouldn't approve us non-contingent. I believe they dangled the $15k incentive to use Lennar mortgage to bait us in, then didn't approve us. A 3rd party mortgage company approved us and they have to play by the same rules as Lennar. Lennar has a problem that in my opinion is fraudulent.

So far the only good thing is ,it was the cheapest home that was available. The longer we live here the more areas we see where the builders cut corners, did quick patch jobs or even tried to hide the errors made rather than fix them. if you have an issue there's a whole lengthy process to get it resolved. We were made promises that were not kept, discovered trash that had been poured over with concrete because they were too lazy to pick up after themselves. All in all, they did get us into a home quickly but if we were to do it again I would have taken my time and checked every little thing ...

First house I tried to buy was in Seguin, Texas. My closing date was postponed and then on the day of new closing date I was told "your husband has to co-sign." One whole month they couldnt't figure out that my loan was a liability. I was extremely disappointed. They took so many documents but in the end gave me no choice, tried to rush me, gave me advice on cosigning when it's a personal decision and they invaded that personal space, no one asked them for their opinion on co signing part. Lennar salesman doesn’t respond after the earnest money was given. They didn’t clean at all after the home orientation. When i was there after the closing, everything was as it is when we left after orientation. Little things like pull string on the conduit was not there for utility cable to go to the security box, front and back trees were not properly dug into the ground. Some of the ring security sensors were missing. Paints on the floor and windows are not properly cleaned. They said it gonna be construction clean but not at all.Overall bad experience.

For buying a first home, I had a very stressful experience trying to constantly prove that money was money was available because they couldn’t read. Not till I got my realtor involved the “issues” cleared. Quality and craftsmanship is horrible, no pride in quality of work. When you do need answers during the process everyone blames everyone and says it’s someone else doing it. Too many hands involved. I would never buy a Lennar home again.

Buying a house with Lennar was the worst experience I ever had. I started the process June of 2023 and didn’t move in until the end of April of 2024. My new home consultant was the worst poor communication, he lied every chance he got, then he quit just two weeks before I had to close on the home. His manager knew the issues that were going on and barely helped. She was provided all text message and emails and was shocked how he spoke to me, but nothing was ever done. I would not recommend this company, especially Lennar Mortgage company, run ... The agent that wrote up our contract was not responsive, never knew when our units would be completed. Did not email any of our information after we closed. We had to beg to get things fixed, no follow up. The management companyis even worse, Access, not responsive to emails, or calls. My information was not put in the system correctly,never received a bill, took about 11 emails, hours on the phone to get our information corrected, like name, billing address etc. Just plain poor managment of the whole ...
