There were a lot of issues with communications. No one could get on the same page and they still dont even have my email updated. Pretty ridiculous considering the amount of money spent. The walls are paper thin and cheap insulation was used. I would not purchase a lennar home again.

As our customer services rep said when I showed him the corners that aren’t square and the garage frame being crooked. “ it’s a production home not a custom home” That’s a summary how our whole experience have been with Lennar. Things just aren’t right, square or straight.

My home buying experience was horrible. It started from the salesman to the loan officer. They lacked customer service skills, respect, and information. For all the trouble I went thru to purchase my home, in the end it was not worth it. So many defiencies, lack of workmanship, and the lack of responsibility. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. I wish I would have done my homework beforehand.

My biggest issue was the low skill level of sub contractors with paint and chalking of trim. Over paint on door hinges was ridiculous! The chalking was applied in a haphazardly method Low quality level of appliances, especially washer/dryer and dishwasher! Issues presented were not attended to by construction manager. I literally had to chase him down around the development! Overall, it was a very poor experience.

The process started out good, but we should have seen the red flags when the Lennar real estate agent Marnie ignored our agent during the process. She also confirmed to us that we would receive a sprinkler system as we stood in the model home which had them. We found out right before closing that they were not included!!! The celebration walk wasn't anything close to being a celebration. We spent a lot of money for builder grade finishings like a can light in the foyer and bedrooms, no mirrors in the bathrooms, no towel bars or shower rods at all. We couldn’t know because there was no model for our home. The walls are wavy, the corners are all crooked, the master bedroom door wouldn’t stay closed because the lock was not aligned. Angeline 55+ Community has the worst contractor follow ups. We closed on our home August 30, 2023 during the hurricane, therefore we were unable to do the final walk thru none of the items were fixed and they still are not fixed, we keep getting promises but nothing happens. We have been lied to, misled, dismissed, and a few other negative experiences during our Lennar purchase and ownership. From the first problem with the closing date requested when making our offer through our first significant warranty claim, it has been problem after problem, and struggle after struggle. My overall home buying experience was stressful and almost traumatic. By far the worst purchasing experience I've ever dealt with. There was an extreme lack of communication with everyone involved. The picture presented on the webpages is nothing, like my house looks like. I feel like I was totally railroaded. All the videos of what I was showing that I would receive, I did not. From the outside to the in. it is nothing like I was shown. When I try to contact somebody for help, it takes days and talking to 20 different people in order to get some thing done. It has been an absolute nightmare. I would never refer any of them to anyone who is in the market for a house.

Our salesperson was dishonest and unresponsive. He used high pressure tactics and forced us to close on an unfinished home (or lose our deposit). Workmanship for an executive home was abysmal. Follow up post sale was non existent with numerous unreturned calls. There has been a complete lack of coordination to get problems rectified. This company is all about moving units and quality is not even factored in.

As far as the home buying process it is easy and simple but the quality in workmanship around the house it is extremely poor. Everything in the house is built too fast therefore the house have problems just like an old house. I already got multiple problems on a "new" house. Lennar will tell you that everything in the house has warranty which it does but, you have to take out of your time to fix problems they made while building the house. Also, it takes them a long time to fix anything. I bought a new house to not have problems of an old house.

Home is substandard with poor workmanship. Lennar did not meet any of our expectations of a newly constructed home. Home was not finished by the closing date despite reassurance that everything would be done. We wanted to delay the closing until everything was completed but Lennar threatened loss of our 10% deposit if we did not close that day. Construction manager apologized and gave his commitment that he would personally make sure everything was done right but broke his promise the next day and said it was not his department or responsibility after closing.

Lennar was absolutely the worst home building experience we’ve ever been through. Extremely unorganized. Quality of work was horrendous. Lack of communication. Cleanliness was horrible. We will never build with Lennar again and will do everything we can to get others to avoid this builder.

My Lennar loan officer was not trustworthy or responsive. He didn’t respond to several voicemail over a 4 week period and it cost me .25% on my rate. He claimed to not remember how much money I had for a down payment. This was discussed in our initial call & multiple times thereafter.
