Home was supposed to be completed in 5/2023 which is the reason we selected the property. We were then told it would close in June 2023. We coordinated the sale of our residence to coincide with the closing date in June. The closing was then pushed out to July 2023. We did a walk through of the property several days before the closing and marked numerous items that needed to be repaired (cracked tiles, cracked pavers, exterior issues, dead landscaping, missing sod in numerous places, missing blinds, bugs, not cleaned, missing caulking, drywall issues, holes in concrete, etc). The seller failed to disclose everything that the house was supposed to have and they compromised on quality for the price. They should have been straightforward with me the first place telling me most stuffs don’t come with the house a week before closing date. I don’t think I can recommend or buy any other house from this builder

I understand home buying can be stressful but this whole process has been beyond insane. No one knows what they are talking about. Good luck getting a call or email back if you reach out. Our closing date was moved and no one told us. Our electric was turned off because even though we asked for the certificate (which the office had the whole time) we were told we needed to wait. We came back from our honeymoon to a hot house and bugs everywhere due to the humidity. Every homebuyer on my street had negligence plumbing sewage leaks/water leaks and ect. Homes were rushed put together missing stuff overlooked stuff and customer service did not know what to do had to fight for weeks to get stuff solved. They lied to every homebuyer said we are the only one with the issue

This is my second Lennar new construction home, and it's been a completely different experience compared to the first one. My first Lennar experience was great! This time around has been a different story. From the sales person, Daniel, who was completely rude and unprofessional, to the issues I'm going through now, I'd highly recommend getting an inspection before closing. If Lennar can save a nickel they will. They did not seal the walls, I am not sure if they just sprayed the walls with texture or if they actually used paint. The landscape was a mess, and we still have problems with the sprinkler system. We have dogs, so every day we have to walk to the yard and pick up styrofoam cups, fast food packages, and other garbage left to the wind. I had to coordinate the mailboxes being put in, they did not know who the waste disposal provider was, and it was a battle trying to get sprinklers, fences, and lawn fixed. I went with Lennar because I was under the impression it was a reputable company. The mortgage department is extremely unorganized causing a lot of unnecessary time, work, and stress. At closing, the end of June, there was a list of items still not complete. I was promised the items would be promptly addressed. As of today, 8/23, not one item has been taking care of. Would not recommend Lennar.

Please, please check Lennars review before buying!!! By far WORST experience ever. Bunch of idiots working there! Workmanship BAD! Very bad! Walls crooked, not responding to work requests and retaliation are just some of their qualities. Scott (main lennar builder guy) on question why is my half million dollars house so poorly built answered that he personally couldn’t afford one. Obviously, he cannot build one either. Never ever again. Do mot buy, save yourself headache.

This experience has been way too stressful to even go into detail. So many issues and so many broken promises. No one gets back to you and when they do, it’s nothing but excuses. You schedule for things to be fixed and the contractors don’t show up after you’ve waited around all day for nothing. This our 3rd time buying a home, 2nd time buying a new build. We had to extend the closing date three times because the home wasnt finished. We did a walk-through before closing and gave a list to the builder of all the things that needed fixing. Some were cosmetic, but some were big deals such as the sofit was missing by the front door, the outside of the house needed to be painted (still gray with stucco), and the some doors didnt have hinges or locks. Lennar Disappointment - Look Elsewhere

Will never buy another subpar product from Lennar. Poor quality, poor construction, poor execution. Don’t fall for the trick that everything will be fixed post closing. Walk away or trust me don’t get involved in this fiasco. Talked with 3 neighbors who experienced the same issues. This is just plain poor business practice and flat our wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company; wish I did.
