I'm a 3rd time Lennar Home Buyer and a Licensed Real Estate Agent. And this was the worst experience ever. Terrible construction quality, cheap choice of material and workmanship, unacceptable warranty service. The walkthrough coordinators lied on my face at every stage, instead of fixing the issues identified during the first walkthrough, they simply took the markers off and signed the final walkthrough on my behalf in my absence!!!! From being promised the wrong interest rate to having the closing date moved (not to mention several times) on the day of because of negligence from a laborer on sight. I would not recommend working with this specific San Antonio branch. The communication within Lennar was clearly poor and made the experience excruciating.

The buyer process was so many people involved, had to do too much coordination on my own. Too many different portals to do things in. Poor construction and was told “you can only call in 1-year warranty items all at once, only one time”. Never have heard that in any of my previous home buying experience. So, essentially, there is actually no warranty, if that’s the case. Can’t get a hold of the sales manager, she won’t return my calls conveniently AFTER I closed on the home. Hmmm…. Plus, on the warranty paperwork they ask you to sign after some work is done, there’s NO PLACE for notes - why ...

Staff was 30 minutes late to walk through. Rude to me during walk through. Did THREE walk throughs for paint issues and they still never fixed many of the horrible looking spots on walls and baseboards. My $601,000 home looks like an absolute joke! Not to mention, I did not have a working oven for the first month of living here. Also, they were not prepared with paperwork and therefor made me wait at the attorneys office on my closing day for several hours. I would not recommend Lennar to my worst enemy.

I bought a beautiful townhome on the water in south Tampa. Lennar promised a luxury experience, and the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. That was two years ago. Delay after delay after delay, finally we started the closing process. The build quality was terrible, and they were doing their best to minimize our concerns and rush the closing. They would just decide when our closing was, with no regard to our schedules. My “homebuyer consultant” Sonia was increasingly difficult to contact as closing approached. Overall, not what I expected. Sadly, Lennar was once a decent home builder, not any longer. Lennar are now all about the bottom line and keeping shareholders happy - a production builder! I owned a Lennar home in Wellington, Florida and Colorado. Both were decent homes. This home has been pulled apart within the first month of closing. The drywall removed to correct simple issues. Lots of things at home aren’t working Soap dispenser in kitchen None of the ring devices are working except for door bell (the device says already in use) Landscaping was done worstly Lots of water down pools on the concrete And the road behind our house One the window board was broken And lots of things other things I cannot get in this notes I had worst sales experience, there lots lies and cannot keep the promises. This is my second Lennar home and I am definitely there won’t be third Lennar. I am sure I am not recommending to any of my friends.

Bad experience with closing and warranty issues

While closing I brought of multiple items to their attention to fix issue but they never fixed it. One of issue caused water leak after closing the house. Construction quality is so bad. Warranty support is too bad. Send some handyman to fix all types of issues. He does not know gravity of the issue. So I do not recommamd lennar to anybody with this experience.

This is my second home with Lennar in the past 4 years. Closed in April, still have not been able to move into my home. Expenses have multiplied however no home. No one takes responsibility and no one held accountable. They force you to close on a home that is not completed with the high quality Lennar sells people on. Completely dissatisfied.

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. The craftsmanship and quality of work are subpar to say the least. External doors installed incorrectly, closet doors damaged or not even installed, bed and bath doors hung wrong. The drywall and paint were just slapped up with no attention to detail. Windows installed, but don't actually lock. The QC team marked things to be fixed, but they never were, nor was the house/floors cleaned prior to us closing. If we could give them 0 out of 5, we would.

Bad to respond to emergencies

Is the worse experience I had, water was coming inside the house when raining through the windows I reported to everyone and my husband had to fixed almost a month and nobody has follow up this issue. The house was with the tapes pending things to be fixed and dirty at the time of the walking through before closing. I am still waiting….BAD.

Have been dealing with issues since i purchased house from lennar

I have been dealing with issues in house build since i purchased the house. Water has been sitting in water meter for weeks, no solution has been provided under warranty only workaround has been given. Finding missing electrical outlets. Bad grading done, improper landscaping. cheap quality porch door. Finding cracks in dry wall close to electrical outlet which tried to hide by paint.

My home had 2 cracked tubs that they patched instead of replacing. My sod died within a month after purchase. The warranty guy told me too bad it is not covered under warranty

Once you close they pretty much ignore you. My sod died within a month and they told me it was my fault for not watering it. They did not cover sod.

Worst experience I ever had buying a home. Most unprofessional, disorganized don't care attitude I have ever encountered. The only thing they are interested in is getting your earnest money, afterwards the worst customer service ever. I will never buy another home from these people. Difficult to get a response from, dealing with people in Arizona, Texas and Florida at the same time was a complete nightmare.

This has been awful. I have submitted a complaint to corporate already regarding the experience. We were lied to. Pressured. Lied to some more. Not given proper communication. Pretty positive we have retaliation from the sales and construction managers. No one has contacted us and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of care.

The quality of home is one of the worst new builds I have ever seen. Lvp floors are not level all over the house and feel extremely hollow because they are floating floors. They make noises with every step and are really loud. Drywall is bowed all over the place, baseboards are also bowed all over the place, counter top island is also crooked and not straight, paint job is terrible and sticking and peeling everywhere, paint and drywallis cracking in every window, the paint is not smooth and feels like sandpaper, touch up paint is a completely different color being used in the house when they ...

If you close in spring done expect your yard to be graded, your sprinklers to go in, or to see your sod anytime soon. I was PROMISED I was first on the list when that came. That was in April. It’s 90 degrees in June and I continue to look at a mound of dirt, weed bushes up to my chest, and ricks where my grass should be. It’s a joke. Don’t give them a dollar if you ever want service from Lennar. I avoided writing this review, but they kept asking for one. So, here we are.

Javier from Lennar Loan processing has created a very stressful and not pleasant at all. The loan processing and interest rates were delayed and once we were pushed to the corner , they didnt leave us any option but to take the loan. He misguided us when we had an option to go with the private lender.

3 month delay in closing, sales people throw in our face that they have 2 years to complete per state statutes. Cost us a lot of money for extended stay hotels and storage while they dragged their feet in getting the house built(and NO concessions at all). Wanted a pool home, none were available, with the huge delay, they could have incorporated it in the build. The sales person was always "we can't do that" Very poor customer service. The construction manager was great and the only bright spot in this transaction.

This is the worst concrete job we have ever had on a new home. When we closed on this house we addressed the crack on the top of our driveway to the supervisor he said he would put another cut into the concrete where the crack is and just made it look worse. We have contacted several contractors and they even said this is the worse concrete job they have ever saw. In time that crack will just keep chipping away they said which it already is and we only have been closed for less than 2 months. I tried to put a warranty call in and they said they would open a case I had to call twice ...

I had a bad experience with Lennar throughout the construction process and even after completing the house construction. Construction manager was terrible, he does not care about what you are saying, even he does not listen to you. Whatever you say he simply says that is what it is. I wanted to go for the prepurchase inspection and asked the construction manager several times that was everything ready, he said yes every time but, on the inspection, day we noticed water meter did not get installed and house was messy everywhere, toilets were messy I concerned about it several times, but ...

Sub standard materials after 1 year I see everything going to hoa. All new town homes and every building siding is falling off. Right not kidding. Road at end of street is caving in. Take a look at sawgrass and see. We’re still waiting for our refrigerator and dishwasher to be repairs for one month now.
