House quality fell short. Building timeline was continually pushed back because of labor shortages. Over priced home with no input from consumer. Lennar took advantage of inventory shortage and watered down its brand for the sake of a dollar. I real shame.

Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. Quality/workmanship is seriously lacking and below anything I've ever experienced; door-frames are not square (binding doors), cabinet doors are not straight/aligned, appliances don't work, and several other issues). The homebuying experience has been less than ideal. From putting in an offer on the house being told last minute that I can’t close due to a quote on quote SHA policy until my family member outlined the FHA guidelines did the sales team change their tune. The lender that was referred by Lennar again not great. I asked multiple times during the process for additional review of my good faith estimate, and was told I had to get back with the sales agent who never returned my emails. Chris who is on the construction side has been the only person to follow up and show any type of customer service. ...

This is our third new home and has definitely been the worst of all three. The craftsmanship and details are lacking. The response from Lennar has been lacking and when they do respond, they say it isn’t covered or need to call another company.

The closing process was a disaster. The house was not complete by the closing. I moved in 2 months ago and still trying to get things fixed that were noticed at the walk through prior to close. I have been disappointed at every step of this process.

Home wasn’t ready when promised. Allowed to close without CO. Had to go to hotel. Oven didn’t fit. No kitchen for 3 weeks. Cabinets broken. House was dirty. Floor wasn’t laid level. Bumps and hills throughout. Hollow tiles throughout. Upstairs creeks. Grout not straight and spilled throughout the home. Doors not level. Stairs rails not secured. My experience with Lennar has been horrible.. Since day one I wanted to buy a house with a loan and the person a spoke to thought it was cash and obviously they waited until closing day to contact me and that was a huge problem.. going from buying cash to a loan and I almost lost my deposite which is 10% of the house values ( crazy) if this was my first house I would never want to go through that also because Lennar people are not helpful at all.. honestly I don’t have time to do this but I do not recommend friends or family to buy from Lennar.. If I could give no stars I would. From the second we filled out an application, the rest of the process went lower than rock bottom. We spoke to our finance person (Mary Jo) ONE time and that was after calling/emailing numerous times. I finally reached out to Ali (man in the model home) letting him know that we have been trying to get ahold of her with no call back. The reason my husband and I chose Lennar for our recent home purchase in Inman SC was based on a prior experience with purchasing a Lennar home in Summerville SC in 2017. Every person we interacted with back then was sincere, thorough and pleasant. It was such a smooth process. Our experience this go around has been the opposite. This was our first new build experience with Lennar and will probably be our last. 1) The salesperson, while initially helpful, friendly, and professional during the sales process, was not very helpful after we were pressured to close before the house was finished. He made a LOT of promises to follow up on punch list items immediately within two weeks during the final walk-through and then essentially washed his hands after we closed on November 30th. The walkthrough was a joke. Chris didn't want to be there and it showed. He explained nothing. All of the issues could have and should have been addressed before the walk through. It was left with you have a year to find all other issues. We have been without the original garbage disposal for over 2 weeks now. As far as the builder is concerned I don't have a garbage disposal.
