There were areas in my home not completed and Tommy and Jennifer from Lennar have been giving me the run-around. The demeanor of the team makes you feel like they are insulting your intelligence. I should have known better than to trust someone's word. The entire experience is a nightmare.

Lennar prides itself on holding a large market share, and talk about it in their spiels to rope people in, but one thing that is conspicuously absent in their spiel is a commitment to communication and quality of workmanship. Lennar seemed to have an incredibly difficult time with communicating and keeping us up to date on correct information when available, from the selling rep ("real estate agent" I guess?), to the loan processors who were quick to answer emails and pick up phones when we had outstanding items, but left voicemails unreturned when not. Probably the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen. When you complain about it they basically tell you to close or they will fine you. It has been almost 2 months they still haven’t fixed drywall, paint, tiles, cabinets. James, Kyle, Stephanie all bad. They want the sale and that’s it. Kyle has to be the worst. We purchased in late April with being told a September finish//close. We sold our house and figured we would stay in an AirBnb from August until the September close. After relocating, the closing moved then to October, November, December, and then an actual close at the end of January. The contracts are written air tight to not cover any expenses from a “good faith estimate” of closing even when they have actual close dates given to you. Instead of being “ wowed” our home buying experience was terrible. The inside of the home was ok, the tile floors being the worst….in fact we are still trying to get the floors clean and presentable. The customer rep seemed bored and mechanical and did not act on any issues for over a month. Our construction manager Mark was the only reliable person that we could talk to. I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. When this was expressed, warranty rep and supervisor probably worried we would back out, called people out ASAP to fix issues on the spot while we drove to our closing appointment. Lennar is extremely unresponsive and quaility of work is poor. I would never buy from Lennar again. I just did a walk-through with BTI Parnters at Marina Pointe. Their attention to detail was night and day comparted to Lennar.

Lennar doesn’t drop prices, Lennar doesn’t help with closing fees, and Lennar doesn’t put lights in bedrooms! Lennar doesn’t help at all! My experience with LENNAR was my worst experience ever. I’ve purchased many houses across the world but I’ve never once seen something like this happen.

Communication was absolutely horrible through the home buying process. My close date was changed more than half a dozen times and we were over 1 yr delayed, I received a house with many issues that are still being resolved including exposed electrical wires, unfinished kitchen cabinets, etc. The warranty team takes quite a long time to resolve problems when something is submitted. Lots of corners were cut and it was a very unpleasant experience overall.

Do not buy, run away. Sales team made false promises, they are just looking for your money. No quality and construction issues left and right. Tile issues, plumbing issues, poor worksmanship, cutting corners everywhere. They want to save on everything.just expect atleast 4walls.

I closed on a townhouse on Dec. 30 and there were many problems (interior bifold doors missing, missing bath vanity, missing trim pieces, ants and spiders everywhere, etc) Plus, the overall job was extremely sloppy and unacceptable. Lennar took what should have been an exciting and happy event and turned it into the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Lazy and did the bare minimum when it came to supervision of subcontractors. It definitely shows in the final product. Quality and schedule both suffered. The quality is a C- at best and the schedule was non existent. Lennars best quality is the community that’s all, as far as a builder the peopl from start to finish do no justice for the brand. Bad quality construction, cheap products. Lennar has very customer service and zero post-sale commitment. There is no SLA for the resolution of the issues. Uneven flooring, lousy painting, cracks on the walls.

Lennar is TERRIBLE. They would say anything just to get your foot in the door and the contract signed. Then they delay and delay. They even take away promised features just to get the unit “completed” quickly. They promised the Flo water shut off, then didn’t install it because “they ran out”. On the day of closing, I pointed out that my roof is missing ALL circulation vents, and they responded “oh we must have ran out” but I forced them to install it. Warranty team doesn’t want to fix anything, and are not nice. Overall experience was terrible. No communication, and terrible build quality. ...
