From incorrect colors and finishes to horrible, dead landscaping and a completely unresponsive contractor, we loved the process but were left with a home that was not exactly what we picked nor what we envisioned.

Our home has a lien

To no fault of our own we have a lien on our new home. We're not sure what's happening and have had a couple of different stories. We've been in the home 5 months and this issue is still not resolved.

Love the home, hate the process

We have now been in our new home for 4 months. The home buying process with the sales staff was a nightmare. We have had similar experience with the home warranty staff. Claims have been submitted but many have not been fulfilled. We love the home, we love the area, but we wish more care would have been put into our home and the building process.

Lennar has changed the beginning of recreation building 3 times. The also can't control the contractors who block driveways, blast music all day and toss garbage on lawns daily.

Cracked windows not fixed

I advised the builder that a cracked window was found. . And nothing has been done about it

Horrible Experience

I’m still waiting for repairs to be completed from my closing over four months ago. In addition I’m in the middle of fighting tooth and nail to get someone out to repair a roof leak that has caused extensive water damage and now black mold which has rendered three rooms in my house unable to be used. My kids are crammed into other rooms now. I’ve documented everything and even called management multiple times with now follow up. The entire process has been horrendous as a first time home buyer.

Never again.

The workmanship was poor at best, the sales staff and closing were a disaster, the follow up with repairs has been, let's just say a nightmare. Some things still are not fixed and if I had to guess are not going to get fixed unless I pay for someone to fix them. Everything included does not mean everything... but they fail to tell you what normal things are not included. I am afraid to see what is going t happen to this house in say 5 years, I think most mobile homes are constructed better.

Lennar - Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house

Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

Horrible repair and maintenance

1) Lawn was horrible at the time of closing. After 1 that I was told that it was layed months back without any property maintainanice. Due to this I have pay the expenses to replace it. 2) Restroom and others have issues 3) newly installed fridge needs repair Overall not happy of getting a brand new house and get these issues frequently

First and LAST Lennar home

Too many imperfections caused by fast and sloppy workmanship. The entire process is rushed from start to finish. Everywhere I look I find issues with finishing touches. We just moved in and we're already thinking about selling.

Lennar Sales Reps and Construction managers lie

I would not trust anything they say. They promise things in a home and then when it is built those promises were “oopsies” or “I stuck my foot in my mouth”. If you purchase a Lennar home I highly recommend getting a third party inspection. There are gas leaks in a lot of homes in the neighborhood and Lennar refuses to take accountability. My oven still wreaks of gas after a while of being here and having multiple people come and “fix” the problem. Customer service is non existent. Area managers and sales will refuse to speak with you once you bring up an issue. My mistake was signing for ...

They rush you thru paperwork, bury important info in digital signed documents, no option to dispute anything you are signing. Rush you thru walk thru, identify issues, and they NEVER come back to fix anything. We have light coming in under our Front door jam, and light shining in thru the wall between entrance and garage wall at the baseboards. They rush to finish and close, they don't care about the customers. Then when we get closed, they sell your mortgage to some fly by night company. Quality of house is poor. Paint on the wall and cabinets is awful, we need better quality of work. Also process of Lennar mortgage was horrible. Hard to reach out people when we have question . No one call back or reply to even emails . Also house construction was not that good either . Carpet installation on stairs are bad. Fooled are uneven .

back yard like a ski slope

We were so excited about our new home! Until walk through. Finally when it was time to walk through it before closing, we saw that the yard was like a ski slope— the incline was scary steep, and basically not a yard, no grass would grow there. The houses on either side had retaining walls, but not ours. With 3 kids and 2 dogs, this would not work, and Lennar refused to do anything about it, so we did not go through with the purchase and we lost our Ernest money. Horrible experience and so sad

Home was built extremely cheap, you can see the drywall tape in multiple spots, paint was splattered on floor, carpet, all over cabinets knobs, side of granite on island has cuts in the granite, whole home needs another coat of paint poor coverage you can tell it was watered down, cigarette butts and debris all over the yard, was recommended Open door everything they tell you isn’t correct , dirt wasn’t even smoothed out in the landscaping just threw pine straw on top to cover it up, home has so many flaws it is unreal. Had no agent present at closing mine had quit several weeks before closing found out the day of closing Agent neglected to notify as well as Lennar. they dont mention the $76.00 sewer fee until your done.They lost my down payment cashers check $6,800 which was a overpayment still haven't been refunded. That gets their attention from the Miami office and The lawyer from the 2002 class at The university of Alabama should be disbarred . The only truth they tell is their one & done .Nobody is ever coming back to fix anything . Each house has multiple issues and can never be addressed examples ...
