After all the walk through s and living in the home a few months I know see how some stuff is not like we thought. Handles on cabinet in quest bathroom not put on straight, bottom of cabinet scuffed up with white paint. Glue on tile. Overall we love the home but when buying a expensive home it should be really nice. Little things like this show how this home was thrown together as fast as possible.

My experience was a poor one from the time I put my contract in until now, three months after closing. There of been so many miscommunications and poor customer service issues they won’t all even fit in this review box. Suffice to say, I would never, under any conditions, build another house with Lennar.

My experience wasn’t the best, I think it’s because I bought the last home. They are not present in the neighborhood so it’s hard to get things fixed.

All that you need to do is ask. Everyone will get back to you and do their VERY BEST to help!

The buying experience is so easy with Lennar. They made my decision to purchase a second home in Delaware a breeze. I would definitely recommend Lennar Homes for any home purchase.

The whole process was really smooth.

The process was smooth but there was always something missing in every step. lennar mortgage part was missing communication in all levels. The lender did not have patience and did not answer all our questions in timely manner and finally started to respond after i kept calling and bugging her. . The sales part was good and all but did not provide us with all details of the upgrade options. We wanted the back patio but he did not tell us that was even an option he only mentioned the screened porch. Later after we signed only then when we realized that the patio did not come with our screened porch. Then the HOA part. Weve been calling them to get more info on community restrictions but theyre not responding and on top of that from reading on their page its so sad to hear that were unable to have a vinyl fence. Ive not hearing from the customer care team after 3/10. I know there will be some of contractors gonna visit me for after care, but no plan is shared and i did not get any of updates. Recently, I call and text messages to the customer care team and i did not hear anything back from them. This is my first house and i was so excited. However i really have to say this. The way that they finished house isn't really beautiful and all the minor details are bugging me because i keep seeing it. I know i am still under the warranty period but im wondering what is the purpose of having warranty when they barely take care of it. ... More

Built too fast; workmanship poor; many punch list items; takes too long to get fixes after closing due to no incentive to do anything faster than a snail’s pace.

Quick response, transparent, more communication

We have built with Lennar before. The 1st build was a great experience without any craftsmanship issues. This time, we were not satisfied with the workmanship, and we are still experiencing HVAC issues that have yet to be resolved.

I called three repairs within one month of move. They were prompt answering and sending for repairs. Overall the buying process is great.

I had the pleasure of working with Dominique Pence and Matthew Taylor. They made buying my first home so easy!

Worst company ever! Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

The buying process was smooth, Lennar was involved in every aspect of the buying process, including getting a Mortgage and the closing. From that part I am happy on how everything worked out. In regards to the house, we were told a date when we would be able to walk the property to see if everything was in good shape. They said that we could bring a home inspector so we hired one for the date Lennar told us. A few days before the inspection Lennar told us the date was postponed 1 day so our home inspector couldn't come with us as he could not accommodate that last minute change. We then were told by Lennar that the inspector could not come at a later date even though it was due to their last minute change. Once we entered the property we understood why they preferred a home inspector not to come because the property was clearly unfinished, we spent many hours marking tens of defects everywhere and obviously without the help of a home inspector we missed many of them. The most important ones where related to missing insulation in the living room and scratched windows that don't close/open properly. During the tour they said don't worry anything you don't catch now it will be fixed using the 1 year warranty but that is not completely true, some thing are indeed fixed afterwards and we actually had to fix lots of them but some of the most important ones are not covered under the warranty like for example the missing insulation. Other issues we have had are with the dishwasher which stopped working after only a few uses and Lennar was unwilling to replace it. We are still waiting on having it fixed after months without dishwasher. The quality of the materials used is low and all the appliances are basic or entry level. We asked to upgrade them but they denied that possibility. The only thing it is good quality is the Ruckus AP they install which is high quality (even though is the entry level Ruckus of course). The quality of craftsmanship is very poor, you can feel how the rushed everything and don't have any attention to details. In my opinion the value we got for the price we paid is low but we are still happy because we like the neighborhood and the location of our house is really good. The house itself is beautiful and the layout works perfectly for our family. It would have been perfect if not for all these issues regarding construction. My advice for future owners is to be very careful and very thorough on the inspection. Don't trust them when they try to convince you everything will be fixed in the future because some items will definitely not be fixed and don't let them push them to sign the acceptance till every issue has been resolved. ... I love my house but some of the staff was difficult to work with and wouldn't respond in a timely manner.

Very customer service orientated. Took time to explain all forms and answered all questions. Really easy to work with.

Started the homebuying process right when Covid hit. Our Home Consultant was great at adapting to the new safety guidelines and we felt comfortable in working with him. We hit some bumps here and there which was not one persons fault but rather the situation. We moved in about six months ago and have unfortunately had problem after problem. The construction manager has been excellent in addressing our questions and concerns in a very timely manner. All of the issues we have been encountering are due to construction quality.

Luxury at an affordable price. Wouldn’t change a thing.
