Lennar - Very bad experience, I have called and even went to the office

Very bad experience, I have called and even went to the office and no response with the things that need fixing, and we are still waiting for someone to respond to us. Many things needed to fix on the first walk through. Still waiting for it to be fix. And now we have other things to get fix, No response at all. I would not want anyone to go through this.

Not a good home buying experience

Unfortunately my agent did not check in with me regularly to give me updates. My closing date was pushed back 5 times. The last 2 times I was notified in less than 48 hours. The delays turned out not to be due to the supply chain issues but instead Lennar dropped the ball with city permits and permits for my gas meter. I was given the excuse that they lost construction staff in my neighborhood. When I moved in the "deep clean" was not done and several items needed work. It took about 3-4 weeks to resolve. Unfortunately for my subdivision it seemed as though no one was communicating with each ...

Signing in July for a house that would be ready in November, that would then be delayed month by month until May. How can you think you can finish a house in 4 months if it’s going to take you 10? But when it’s finally done, we were given zero flexibility in closing day. We had to be flexible for all this time and Lennar gave us nothing at all, even threatened us with a 500$ per day fine! Communication during construction and even sales was very poor and even now past closing is minimal. If Lennar is the last builder on earth, I’ll buy existing homes..

Construction delays which were not communicated prior to buying the house. Very poor communication throughout the process. House built with poor workmanship standards. And response from Construction Manager was it is acceptable per Lennar standards. I didn't knew that lennar had such low standards. Not happy with at all. Even now response is very poor if I open any ticket. And for bigger issues Lennar asked me to directly contact vendors. So accountability at all. And issues were present even before I moved into this house. I can go on and on .... If lennar really care about these reviews, ...

Terrible responses to work we need done. Had my air conditioner go out in the first month and had to called around to 5 different people before someone would help me. Made a request on the Lennar service page to get my kitchen island fixed and am still Waiting for it. There are staples popping up thru the carpet all thru the house. Not impressed with the quality or the service after. Would never buy another Lennar house or ever recommend it to anyone. Very dissatisfied

Lennar - The person who inspected each job after it's finished let most

The person who inspected each job after it's finished let most of the sloppy job go and passed it on to us. So many things were not met the specification or quality and they let it go. This is the first time I built a new house and I could not believe i will have this type of experience. Personally I don't think it's Lennar fault, it's the person who is in charge of final inspection of each job/items that let it go. If I'm in charge of inspection this house or my house I would tell the contractor to do a better job or redo the job until it's good. I don't have anything good to say about ...

I never expected the following from the Lennar a reputed builder! 1. We were told that the house will be closed by October-November of 2021. But the house was closed on April 28, 2022. The 6 months delay. 2. The house was not ready at the time of closing. We were forced to close the home on closing day since me moved from out of state. The new closing date would have been 1-2 months later. 3. The quality of workmanship is poor with lots of issues. 4. Lennar still have to fix the issues with drywall, electric wiring, garage door, kitchen cabinets, carpet, painting, plumbing etc. 5. Due to ...

Lennar Excels in Zero Ownership and Poor Workmanship

In the four homes we have had built in our lifetimes, this was the worst experience from start to finish with having a new home built. It took over 15 months to complete the home. This was a subdivision 1 level 1850sf cookie cutter home nothing custom. It became very apparent that Lennar was overcommitted and had to much WIP (work in progress) open which basically paralyzed productivity. For the entire duration, we had to be the ones to prod and ask for updates, which were vague and usually a bunch of excuses. Lennar has many issues but it’s biggest issue is zero ownership of anything. ...

Lennar, where to start with you!!!! ABSOLUTELY the worst home buying experience. It literally took my having to locate Greg (Lennar Homebuilding and Land Regional President) via his personal cell phone number while he was at home to understand how someone by the name of Kelli (Director of Sales & Marketing) could be such a heartless, cold, foul individual!?! It wasn’t until this stage in the process we actually had a conversation with someone in Lennar Corp who actually had brain cells, and functional ears. For that, I thank you Greg. You were the first person in Lennar corporate that ...

In the past couple months we’ve lived here the HVAC has broken twice… the oven flips the breaker. The hot water heater leaks. Our POC at Lennar was not helpful- in fact it seemed that she actively tried to schedule our 3rd party inspector to come at incorrect times so we had to reschedule with him, as you can imagine that was expensive. Our other POC on site was wholly unknowledgeable about our home. He had not idea where filters should go for the HVAC, and at one point told us our unit didn’t need filters. That being said. I love the layout of the house, the location and our neighborhood. ...

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we ...

We purchased a home a few months ago. With some items not finished, but we could longer be in rental so we’re in a bad situation after our house sat for about 3-4 months with minimal to no work done. We closed 3 months late. We still are living in a house with unfinished items and poor quality workmanship. Then we are constantly flat out lied to through out the entire build process and now trying to get warranty issues addressed. My tubs all have rust rings in them and had them at time of closing. My house wasn’t even cleaned. Windows have paint on them, Mia stains on soffit, concrete work ...

We went with Lennar because we had a great experience in purchasing our last home in SCAL. It was the exact opposite in NV. Yes I get it, we had a rough state of affairs in the country in the past 2 years but the builder should not sacrifice the quality of homes that they produce. Finished product was very disappointing. Felt that Lennar was just interested in making money, build as many homes as fast as they can, sacrificing the quality of homes they’re building. From financing, to getting house keys to customer care was just a bad experience for us.

Shotty workmanship - looks like they let drunk people install in my house. Total lack of accountability to resolve issues Excuse after excuse about poor quality Unethical practices including some that are illegal Buy from another builder in the Vegas market. Lennar is building houses quickly and doesn't care about anything but getting your money. Moved in 2 months ago and still dealing with over 35 issues from move in.

There was absolutely nothing good about the experience with Lennar. Don’t be fooled by having everything from your lender to you insurance under one roof. They are completely inept and unprofessional. Once we moved in we found the quality underwhelming. From crooked windows that make our custom blinds look like crap to the sprinkling system that won’t shut off and or leaks. This experience was horrible and I would never ever recommend Lennar builders.

This experience was not one I would recommend. After all the trials and tribulations I still had work being done on my home the day I settled and it was like pulling teeth to correct what was identified was wrong. Not from just me but also my paid professional inspector. My upstairs primary bedroom makes popping noises as we walk across the “brand new floor” as does the steps. Feels like I’m in a old home. The workmanship is terrible. The walls are not straight and so are the ceilings. If I could attach photos I would. My guest bathroom had a crack in the tub, the baseboards are not ...

From the beginning we have had nothing but problems, and the problems just continue. The sales process was the only part that was smooth. Throughout the build process we were continually lied to, mislead, and given empty promises. We had to fight to get things that were promised during the sales pitch. The construction manager regularly gave us the wrong information and just blatantly lied about updates and progress of certain things. The quality of the trades is WAY below substandard and unacceptable. The overall quality of our home is embarrassing. There was no accountability from ...
