Purchased a silver leaf, was the only one who did not get a covered patio , was told our fence was going to be finished and never gotten any responses from managers.

I'll provide the negatives. If it's not in the negative, then it's positive 1. Lennar person handling my mortgage was the biggest dissapointment. Not very knowledgeable. Put the wrong insurance company in the closing. Apologized at closing but couldn't do anything about on the day of closing. Promised to help with paperwork to make the change to insurance company that I picked, which happened to be Lennar home insurance. She added reminder to her calendar to reach out to me. Never heard from her. Not too bright of an individual. She provided numbers to me for closing that didn't match the actual numbers. Mortgage rate that she quoted prior to actually filling out application was inline with other mortgage rates. When time came to fill out application and lock the rate 30 days prior to closing, somehow lennar mortgage rates were higher than most banks. At that point you're stuck with Lennar. I paid for points to lower the rate. Now construction. The usual builder special. Some important items are overlooked. Air-conditioning unit is right next to master bedroom window. And it's not as quiet as you're told. You hear it and it will wake you up at night. Appliances are cheap. Bottom of the pick. Dishwasher doesn't dry dishes. Inside walls are even wet after a normal cycle. Lennar is aware, because people complained. But they haven't done anything about it. Good luck cleaning oven. There's no vent to outside. So when you turn on auto clean cycle on the oven, your fire alarms will go off. Microwave vent does nothing except blow the smoke into the main room. The returns and air vents are next to each other in the ceiling. Gets chilly inside the house closer to the floor. Warm air doesn't reach there. Insulation is minimal. Closing went smooth and fast. Lots of paperwork. You're asked to provide support documentation at the beginning, when you apply for mortgage. Then 4-5 months later, when your house is ready and you want to lock the rate, you have to provide same documentation again. The good part, all can be done online. ... More

I bought my house at the highest value and two months later I see other houses that look exactly like mine decrease by almost 20k. I understand it’s all about the market but that was drastic. The craftsmanship is ok but I notice the very small details that aren’t up to par. None of the air vent squares are straight and are slanted awkwardly. The sprinklers don’t work and I already called to put in an order and it was very bad customer service. The paint is chipped in some places. The layout is horrible. Yes it’s updated counters but the counters are so small it’s quite pointless. The driveway is the worst! Two car garage (barely) 1 car driveway which is horrible horrible horrible!!!! house is nice

For the money you might expect better build quality. Switch plates that are not level, drawers that don't close right, stair rail supports that are not parallel, paint that is so thin you can see through it, concrete that is already cracked at move in, light fixtures not flush and falling out of the ceiling, support legs on the kitchen bar that wobble and don't support, windows that don't stay open, is that really a fireplace hearth, visible drywall joints, etc. Makes me wonder what's behind, or not behind the walls. They have been good to follow up, but it did take 2 months to get our second garage door opener. Again, nice house, good follow up, but quality and finish work is not worth the $ spent. Purchased a home in Ventana community end of Dec 2019. Had a few issues which were resolved relatively quickly. One took a much longer time but was finally resolved to our liking. The construction manager was extremely responsive, the subcontractors not so much. The house was a good value for a basic home, however you will need to add the extras at your time and $$. Minor pet peeves include the backyard patio is a postage stamp size, no doorbell, front door opens backwards and no lights outside of the garage. Other issue is the clubhouse and pool are still under construction however not being built by Lennar. There are three builders in this subdivision and you can tell from the curb which ones are Lennar and that is not necessarily a good thing. All in all good value if you can do your own upgrades. ... Everything is great and they have the best deals. The only problem we had was with the doorbell not staying programmed.

Great quality and service

Everybody working for lennar don't care about the customer. Every issue I had, I had no assistance to minimum assistance. For example: 6 months after buying the property my bath tub is still missing caulking. I contacted lennar, etc nobody came to fix it. The pavement in front of the house has steps from paint, nobody came to pressure wash that, and lots more.

Countertop are horrible and respond time to get issues fixed is a little lacking. Overall I love my house and the sales team was great. I would recommend Lennar to other home buyers however, there is still some work to be done with in my home and Lennar claims they will fix all issues, so for now I'll have to trust them.

I have nothing but poor things to say about Lennar and I would tell people to NEVER purchase a Lennar home. The quality of workmanship and Material is below grade the house is way overpriced for the quality and products used in the home. There is zero trustworthiness, they have the worst sales people and construction people and they don't respond at all to any issues during the building process. They deserve much less than a 1.

Previously Lennar used to build nice homes with utmost quality, ever since 2 years I see very poor quality in materials and workmanship.

We love our new home. We chose to upgrade flooring and kitchen, and the cost, while expensive, was worth it to give the home the extra bit of luxuriousness. We have had very few issues with Lennar. When we have a problem, they come out and fix it and if they haven't fixed it yet, the fix is scheduled and they're committing to upholding the workmanship and quality of the home. The purchasing experience was very easy, mostly due to the "everything's included" buying process. We didn't want the new home experience of choosing a thousand different options, masking the cost of the home. Lennar gave us, at the time of purchase, two options. We chose our flooring and kitchen design. We wish we had a few more options we could've chosen from, but overall we were happy to have most of it chosen for us and we could move in at the price we agreed on. The selling agents were excellent as was their preferred lender, Eagle Home Mortgage. Every phone call, email or text message to anyone at Lennar or related companies was answered promptly or returned the same day. Communication was great and it made us feel more confident in picking Lennar as the builder we chose. There are some odd community planning things we didn't have a say in, like the fact that the color of our home is almost identical to our neighbors, but I guess we can paint the house in a few years. The things in our house that have needed to be fixed seem entirely the fault of a bad tradesman. In each case, Lennar has stood by their workmanship and home warranty and fixed or scheduled to fix the issue. My wife and I looked at other builders and new homes going up and even after living in the Lennar home we feel that the Lennar home is a much higher quality than other builders. We are extremely happy with our new home. My sister recently purchased a home from another builder in the area and our experience could not have been more different. Everyone we worked with at Lennar is amazing, we cannot recommend them enough.

Very happy over all with home and process. Disappointed with follow through of amenities like pool, club house, att access, walking trails around pond. None are finished and paying Hoa fees still

I have made multiple complaint and reviews on my closing experience.. I have not heard back from anyone who has dealt with my loan process besides my loan officer asking me to rate her 10. I refer my mother, she stared her process before I closed. If I would have known my loan closing would have been handled the way did I would have sent her to another builder .. I will not refer anyone else

Quality issue - Construction & Landscaping, Paint, Wooden, Garage & appliances not up to the mark Completely disappointed in quality of material used in construction work. Landscaping not done in good way. Wooden work , Door Locks , Garage door & Paint issue -(Not up to mark) Appliances - Gas Stove & Microwave In house materials not properly fitted - Racks,Towel & Paper hanger

The most rewarding experience I had with Lennar was working with the supervisor of the site which was Will. He was very nice and offered to help any time I had issues. I understand that the builders they are contracted with are the ones that build but any issues I found Will endured they wld be fixed . My experience was overall a positive one
