Lennar is a shady company that builds cheap houses and doesn't stand behind it's work. I have had so many issues with this home. Which have still not all been addressed. Lennar Lending is a joke and almost caused me to be homeless after they were going against Home Lending laws. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

My experience with Lennar has been more like a nightmare. But ask anyone in our new development, and they will say the same thing. First, they have no regard for your closing date. They pushed us out 4 months resulting in a lease back then short-term costing us an additional $10,000 with storage fees. The quality of the work is as bad as it gets. Every trade is subbed out and no one cares as long as they meet their quota: Doors don't shut, windows don't close, siding is falling, trim molding does not line up, caulk everywhere, crappy paint, cheapest carpets, flooring and appliances they can ...

Not a positive experience. Would not recommend Lennar to family and friends based on my bad experience. Note that every neighbor I’ve talk to all expressed the same bad experience.

Company agent was not responsive and not helpful at all, Sometimes he was rude. Home came in poor quality material, Ac was not working in some homes, they did not refuse to fix it but they did not send someone so far. Some items were missing , we request it , they took 3 weeks to deliver it. Giving you excuse when you call them. They overpriced their by 6k in order to sell it, which is not legal. but they still charge it otherwise you can refuse to get it.

Constantly finding stuff wrong with my home. Submitted issues for two months and still unresolved. They rushed the close, the house was not livable for the close and they forced us to close. I am unhappy with the quality of workmanship… everything seems rushed and messy.

The walk through was rescheduled several times with the promised that once the final walk through took place everything would be perfect. That was the biggest lie, when we finally did the walk through the house was very dirty. The floors were scratched window broken. The sales team to start is beyond wonderful until you sign that contract, then you become a number. You better shut up and not make them work either, otherwise they will demean and demoralize you in hope that they can tear up the contract and sell it at a higher price. The workmanship is a joke. I had an incredibly awful experience with the customer service of Lennar. The company did not work in a timely fashion for necessary community approvals, but did not disclose this until the evening prior to closing. After living in the home for a week, you start to notice the cheap materials use and terrible workmanship. All of our knobs had tiny paint splatter, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - not even once (we have a toddler running around), dried paint can be found throughout the home, nails still protruding out through the carpet to name a few issues. Overall terrible experience, we felt rushed through our new home orientation and caught what we can.

My experience with Lennar, it's been a nightmare to say the least from the beginning to the end. My first walk through was a disaster, no electricity and the house looked like been hit by a hurricane, 2nd walk through was not much better house was dirty patches on walls, carpet had paint and dry wall stains everywhere, doors and trims weren't finish, tiles in both showers needed to be replace, cabinets and pantry were missing shelves, all 3 pocket doors needed to be replaced and the list goes on. 4 months after closing we are still waiting for all this to be completed. Lennar does, under no circumstances, care about its buyers. They knowingly (construction manager admitted it) cut corners to get homes done in time. They then fail repeatedly to schedule contractors to fix the cut corners. Sales is an entirely different nightmare.

Finnished home is nothing like the model homes, from staged lamps in living rooms with cords hidden under rugs were no outlets are provided, to trim tile in showers that isn’t put in actual homes. Overall quality is terrible, Door openings uneven, lights not centered, outlets in wrong places, internet wiring frayed in walls/connectors loose, appliances not correctly hooked up, light switches not working, yard with construction debris all over, landscaping a mess!

I understand the labor and material shortage due to COVID but want get the new home completed even with delay. However, the new home has many items not finished such as the garage door. We have been forced to accept new house with many uncompleted things and defects. We have given Lennar construction supervisor a list of things need be improved but has nothing done so far.

Don’t purchase a new house because they put them up too fast with many errors. The homes are not sealed and protected from outside rodents. Let wide open while being built and rodents nest in these new home and the builders deny resolving the issue.
