Everything went well and we love our home

My experience with Lennar in general is a 5... My only concern is that we are still waiting to fix some pending construction works.

My wife and I were looking for a quick move in the North East area and found an inventory home that met mostly all of our needs. In general, we are pleased with the home - there are a few areas of the home that look like they were an after thought in terms of quality of workmanship. The previous home we owned was a Ryland, and we never had issues with workmanship/cosmetic fixes. We've only been in our new home a few months and they are plenty workmanship issues that we are not happy with. For the price we paid, there shouldn't be as many small issues as we have been finding (sloppy Job with trimming, paint, calking, etc). We did however have a great experience with the Lennar sales team walking us through that process. As for the final walk through and first 30 day time period, there were some hiccups but there was always an effort made to correct or make up for those hiccups. ... More

Only issue we have is a kitchen cabinet door & panel on dishwasher to be replaced. The order was written up January 7, 2020. I texted & emailed our field representative for Gran Paradiso in Florida a month ago on the status of it with no response.

No pool in the area. Promised remote to open gates to access pool down the road on Rayford Rd. Have not received

Very responsive team!

The sales team is second to none. Responsive, customer oriented, etc. The construction and warranty team are not cut from the same cloth. Not my job, not covered, hustle to get us to sign off on shoddy work. The sales team went above and beyond to make things right.

Overall, the house was built to fast and cheap. There are things that have already degraded within the house such as flooring, and as well as in the yard with standing water. The house is beautiful from an outside glance, however, once taking a closer look, the imperfections tend to add on.

Overall satisfied with things- minor repairs that showed up shortly after move in.

We have had a few minor issues regarding workmanship, which is to be expected on a new home, but I must say Lennar dealt with everything very quickly & professionally.

We love our home but the painting, caulking, grouting and finishing is done very poorly. You would expect more skilled workers to be part of a home that’s valued at over a half million dollars. We’ve been trying to get attention for it for a few months. Will hope for resolution once the COVID mania is over. The quality of fixtures (shower heads, lighting, fans) are more reflective of homes in the $400k range so Lennar has surely skimped on these things. That will be an additional project we’ll need to take on ourselves. The warranty team is great though; it’s just unfortunate how many things we’ve had to request corrections on in a short span of time. They were great when we had an issue in the kitchen!

Whilst we were generally happy with our purchase we found the process to have repairs and snagging dealt with somewhat difficult and the issues raised at closing were not dealt with for several months.

The sales representative has been great, responsive and helpful. The contractor materials were good but his QA/QC was poor. Too many punch list items and issues that are still not resolved. He continues to construct new houses and puts off punch list work 4 months after closing. I did not want to close with some of these issues outstanding but "the builder" insisted and had the upper hand based on the contract. The rating is lowered due to contractor QA/QC and responsiveness.

Lennar staff has been fantastic throughout the entire process.

Carl is very responsive and things get done! Right now, with Covid, we are unable to get things done which sucks but I still get phone help via Carl and he’s done nothing but the best work. The house and property otherwise is great :)

I have had a horrible experience! The worst ever. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Within 3 months of owning home I have had 2 water leaks. One was my roof on a 5 month old home! I hate this home can’t wait to get out of it.

We got upgraded package and we were told something different than what we got ... material used very cheap...they just want to finish there work and close our house so they get money...after we did our closing we asked few things to get it fixed and they said ohhh we can't fix it now because in order to fix this issues we have to take entire stuff out and go it which is not possible...

Quality control is poor. Workmanship is not good. Needs a lot of repairs and very sloppy work. Warranty specialist not doing great at following up.

The home is very beautiful. In comparison to the home I bought 2 years ago the finish work on this home needs improvement. Miters, paint drips, grout work, touching up nail heads and other aspects are a bit sloppy.

Lennar is very slow to fix issues after your home has been sold. Nearly 6 months after closing we are still waiting for issues from the punch list to be fixed. Also, it seems that fixes require multiple visits because the people they are sending for repairs are not competent. The latest news from them is that their warranty department is closed for repairs, even outside ones. So they can keep the building and selling part of the business open for making money, but will keep the warranty end of the business closed at this time.

The experience from the staff was awesome. Everybody from Robert, Leslie, and Shiloh get nothing but praise from my family and I.

Although this should have been one of the most exciting times in our lives....it was ABSOLUTELY the worst. If you buy a Lennar home be prepared for whole bunch of promises on the front end (before you sign) and be prepared after you sign to fight with Lennar over EVERY single issue that you have. (The warranty) Also, they switch up the rules for what they promised in order to meet THEIR needs and not YOURS!!! No one wants to take responsibility and they like to pay pass the buck. I strongly recommend getting a home inspection before the drywall goes up... it might save a lot of mental stress on your end. Also, document EVERYTHING!! ……….. I should get reimbursed the $125 that I paid to get doors shaved off from the bottom. I was told that they will not do it. Then was told that they would after I paid for it.

Slow to respond to critical warranty issues Customer Service and Customer Representatives needs improvement with communication, reliability, completing jobs/repairs and ownership to resolving warranty issues.
