To much money for poor quality of the house

Since I bought the house I have had an infinite number of problems with the A / C, the heater, the gas, the quality of the cupboard material, the roof is opening everywhere, the patio is flooded every time it rains and many things more the truth if someone had told me that I was going to fight with all this I would have bought an old house ..

Extremely poor, cheap appliances, bad construction materials. No back-splash in the kitchen, guess bathroom is a sink w/pedestal (no vanity). Tile badly installed, plaster/grout on tile everywhere. This community is closed to a Land-field and bad odor is everywhere.

i got buyers remorse , Lennar cuts whatever they can for couple of bucks,.

material they use is cheap and substandard. for example the counter tops and sinks in the bathrooms get stains easy and you can not take it out. a mango on the counter made a stain that is permanent. spices used in cooking around the stove made stains that can not be removed. no toilet or towel holders installed , you pay over 600k and as soon as you move in you have to hire a handyman. i see a lot of people gut their brand new house and change a lot of stuff in their new home before they move in. as i said cheap. they are putting lipstick on a pig and calling it a runway model. so sad.

Horrible workmanship

The quality of detail put into this house is one of the worse I’ve seen for a builder. You can tell they used some of the cheapest contracting companies around. When trying to correct this issues, you’ll get the run around for months. It’s been five months and I’m still trying to get them to fix items. It’s said that you pay a lot of money for these houses and your treated like scum. Document everything, because you’ll probably be bringing them to court.

Everything should have been fixed before I moved in and it wasn’t. Even stuff I showed them on the walk thru was not fixed. Already had a minor roof leak. Paid $400 for a professional cleaning and all they did was vacuum.

I will never buy another Lennar home.

Very poor workmanship. Defects that were promised to be repaired prior to closing were never repaired after I closed on my home. Work orders were submitted and the repairs were refused. These surveys are a complete waste of time, because there is no follow-up and nothing is done to make things right.

Disaster on Creekmore!

We cannot begin to describe how poorly our home is constructed and the very poor fit finish. Windows were now working. There were entire areas that were not painted. There were gaps in the cement block walls in the garage. The lawn was installed incorrectly. Closet doors were missing and one that was installed fell off. The property close was jammed down our throats by some VP who took advantage of the fact that we were not on-site to do a final inspection. 3 months after the close and there are still outstanding issues. We will NEVER, EVER buy another Lennar home!

Buyers do not trust this seller. They attempt to strong arm buyers through threats of pulling on deposits. The Director of Sales for Miami, FL was a tyrant. He openly threatened to make a Veteran family go homeless because he could not grasp the concept that VA loans have certain stipulations for retirees. All of this was done to provide better profit earning for corporate lackeys at the end of the fiscal year. As investors, we have bought real estate for a long time. Dealing with Lennar was a complete nightmare. The sales representative was always confused about the facts and would provide misinformation. Unfortunately, due to her incorrect information, we made many choices that we would not have made otherwise. The construction crew/managers were great.
