I moved into a home with poor workmanship (from a crack in the tub, cracks throughout entire house related to paint near stairs and crown molding, hole in closet and bedroom window, hole in kitchen cabinet, cabinet scuffs and scratches, evenly cut floor tile in kitchen, poor brick work, drywall in yard, damage to walls near butler pantry and behind kitchen exhaust, poorly painted bathroom mirror, poor tile work in master bath, etc.). To make matters worst, customer service is absolutely horrible!! There is no acknowledgment, follow up, or any level of good service provided by my appointed contact. He is the worst person I’ve ever worked with, and he is not held accountable. I moved into my house on November 30 and reported issues beginning December 6. My issues still exist. ... More

Finnished home is nothing like the model homes, from staged lamps in living rooms with cords hidden under rugs were no outlets are provided, to trim tile in showers that isn’t put in actual homes. Overall quality is terrible, Door openings uneven, lights not centered, outlets in wrong places, internet wiring frayed in walls/connectors loose, appliances not correctly hooked up, light switches not working, yard with construction debris all over, landscaping a mess!

I understand the labor and material shortage due to COVID but want get the new home completed even with delay. However, the new home has many items not finished such as the garage door. We have been forced to accept new house with many uncompleted things and defects. We have given Lennar construction supervisor a list of things need be improved but has nothing done so far.

Don’t purchase a new house because they put them up too fast with many errors. The homes are not sealed and protected from outside rodents. Let wide open while being built and rodents nest in these new home and the builders deny resolving the issue.

Never met my sales guy. Wasted money on a flight after getting direction from the sales guy. The loan office gave poor customer service. I understand they are under pressure for year end closing but... not acceptable. Quality of the home build is below standards. Based on my overall experience I will never purchase Lennar

Terrible experience. Be very careful with Lennar

Lennar insisted that they pay off my car with proceed from my sale in Atlanta. Payoff sent was 1000.00 over price and this money could have been put on mortgage. Lenders were VERY unresponsive, All of Lennars team except for one person in title were horrible at their job and never on the clock or in the office. Took more than 24hours for a return call and them they did not know anything.

Be careful of the quality and workmanship.

These has been a nightmare for me. The apartment was not ready at the time of close but under threat of losing money they forced me to close. 60 days after not a single Lennar employee has come to fix the 26 issue that I have in the apartment. Do not trust Lennar Sales team or you will pay the consequences.

No issues with the house. Other then maybe quality of appliances but every single person involved in trying to sell us this house was just a disaster. Not with the headaches

This is not our first new home purchase, but this was by far the worst. There is not enough room here to describe everything and I do not have all night, but I'll start by saying that we were rushed to "close" the purchase on November the 29th last year and it is today, almost 2 months later to the day that we received the key to our home after multiple attends and visits to their office from our realtor. We still do not have any documents what so ever that show that we purchased a home. To this day there is still work to be done in our new home as everything was rushed, but nothing done properly: scratches, dents, paint damage, wall damage, floor damage, water does not get to the irrigation system up front ....and so on. Consider a different company for a new home....... Terrible service, and no one gets back to you from the Lennar Title. No one....in 2 months.... ... More

The whole process was a nightmare from beginning to end.

I am having a very bad experience with getting issues corrected on a home I closed on Nov. 30th and paid way over asking price. The electrical company is yet to show up to install electrical fixtures, havent showed up 2 times already. Cabinet doors not set correctly, installed the wrong closet doors, grout in tile has all damages and dirt imbedded in it. Closet shelves are all crooked. I am very disappointed with what I am dealing with!!

Check the web before you buy

Lennar is a good builder who builds affordable homes. But significant attention is needed in the workmanship and review process after each phase of the build. When a house was delivered to us, we were initially happy until we started noticing issues almost in every aspect of the new house. At some point the workmanship and readiness of drywalls/carpets etc. made us feel like the house was built on a hurry just to meet a date. We were and are excited about moving into the community of Ave Maria. Our purchase of the Ariaballa not so much! The quality and workmanship of this build has alot to be desired. Lennar was quick to take our money and when we notified them of the several issues it seems to have landed on deaf ears. From garage overhead doors that don't function, to missing trim, missing shower doors, several damaged and marked cabinets, and a long list of other items. Our suggestion would be to run as fast and far away from Lennar as possible!

I totally get we are I n a pandemic and things happen however. I believe the home I live in was built cheap and rushed. I was told the carpet was back order then all of sudden I have brown carpet with gray floors. Like seriously, everything else has a color match yet brown carpet is thrown in the mix. There were things incomplete during final walk thru and if I did not look as hard a lot of things would have went undone. There were spots of paint left all over the floor I was told it would be cleaned and of course it was not. I am having to call customer service due to things either are broke or not complete. I should have done my research a little more on Lennar Homes because I would not have purchased. I know my opinion will not matter however maybe the person reading this or shall I say the pile it will go into maybe one day may make a difference. ... More

This was a HORRIBLE experience especially as a first time homebuyer. I understand delays because of COVID, but no reason for the craftsmanship to be so poor. I can’t even get in contact with anyone to come out and fix the piece in our contract that they legally have to fix and we closed 3 months ago! The communication has been TERRIBLE after we signed our commitment. Closing kept getting delayed because no one wanted to do their job. There was so much trash including beer cans on the property during building. I would NEVER recommend a Lennar home.

Price is too high Material is very cheap It’s been two month already things are getting bad

I submitted warranty requests more than 20 days ago, still haven't heard back from Lennar. Family room marble window sill still broken in two pieces. BTW, no one ever lived in this townhouse. All the defects are caused by the builder or sub-contractor.

Would not have purchased from Lennar if I had to do it over again.

Lied about picking options until after contract was signed. Then we were told we could not pick our options. Lennar lied to us on multiple issues.

they are not building very neatly, they put a laminate with humps, the tiles in the bathroom are crooked, the water ticks in during the rain from under the door! they don’t give paint to the wall and it’s not available in stores! you have to repaint everything with another paint in a different color, instead of a little grease! troyat quickly and badly! I don't recommend buying from them!

This house was closed on and the quality of workmanship was poor upon arrival. Items addressed before closing were not completed. The process to get things fixed under "warranty" as it is put is a horrible experience. I don't know how the house passed inspection with a defective furnace, a missing AC unit, and a missing drain pipe which was dropping water into the basement. Also many other thing like a defective shower pan which has not been fixed yet, and installation of defective doors through out the house.
