The people were great to work with. The actual house had many problems. Too many to list. Took months to actually have everything working properly! The contractors aren't worried about quality. They try to get everything done asap.

Punch List items not corrected at move in - couple were never addressed - had to fix myself. Sales team was awesome but construction manager not responsive to problems.

Great value and price.

Lennar responds quickly to any issues, however their resolution process is poor. These are not high quality homes, however they are priced appropriately for the product quality.

What can I say, it's new construction by a national builder that has to build quickly and cheaply. They boast their energy efficiency but use a construction grade electric hot water heater and there's no additional insulation in the attic. Cabinets are already chipping and we've only been here 5 months.

We love the design and style of the house. The layout is great for our family. However, there are a number of quality issues with the completed workmanship. The interior paint has a good amount of flaws, caulking is failing after only a few months, pieces of trim are separating from each other, the drywall finish is not great. I've been in construction for 5 years, so I understand the home is settling and creating some of these issues. That being said, it seems some items, like the paint and drywall, do not have a very professional finish to them.

It’s been 5 months since we closed and moved in ... there are still several issues that need to be repaired. Not a good experience with responsiveness. Also, I was asked to sign documents that stated that some of my issues were already fixed when they were not. Had to escalate!

We built the new “everything’s included” home. Sounded like such a great thing. In order to get and “everything’s included” home, they cheat everywhere they can. Downstairs cabinets have soft close hardware. Get upstairs, not included. Plastic faucet upstairs on an upgraded laundry room. Only one hearing/air vent for the entire kitchen, living room, entryway. Upstairs is so hot and downstairs is freezing. Workmanship is poor. So many thing have had to be fixed already. Carpet is so cheap. Buying a home with Lennar was a good experience. Anessa the Lennar rep is what truly made it worthwhile. Other than that I have not had any issues so far except for not enough coats of paint on the wall and having to kill bugs inside the house due to them leaving windows open etc while building the houses.

Dishonest, shoddy, never again

Home was promised in March. It was not delivered unitl the end of May. At the end of the quarter ( so it would look good on financials). A week prior to closing, we completed the home walk with lennar rep. 3 full pages of damaged items, inop equipment, broken tub and tile. Day of closing (7 days later) nothing was done. Some Repairs were done but here we are 8 months later, im still waiting for the last 4 items to be completed. NO SENSE OF URGENCY SINCE THEY ALREADY HAVE MY MONEY!

I am very glad that I bought my beautiful Lennar house.

Number of times took off from work to accommodate repaired makes it feel like a brand new fixer upper. Very disappointed I was not told that every time I refinanced my home, I have to pay $250 to have Sunstreet do subordination paperwork. Why is Sunstreet even on my title . Unhappy

Poor workmanship, over-promised and under-delivered. Needs to slow down the build process and monitor progress at all stages. Quality issues range from driveway, framing, drywall, paint, flooring, electrical, and air conditioning.

From the process to getting your keys, LENNAR was so generous, kind, responsive and very very helpful. Thank you so much for all your support for our first new home.

The workers dump trash everywhere including bottles filled with urine. Find these things when digging in garden. Takes forever to get them to repaint our side wall outside which is at least 2 different colors of white. The plumbers who came from problems were rather derogatory until they found that AT&T had drilled through our sewer. Also we are hooked into neighbors sewer before draining to city sewer. Both bathtubs had holes which took 2 months to get fixed. Workmanship is poor.

I feel I purchased my first home for builders who were out for my best interest!

1. Seller did not allow me to buy a home without signing Solar roof agreement. I was left with only two options, buy or sign for 20/20 plan. 20/20 plan is a hoax. ”First 20” indicates that it is a 20 year agreement. “Second 20” indicates 20% reduction in price per unit solar energy consumed from roof. In fact, instead of getting benefit, I am paying ~30% more per unit as compared to local grid. Furthermore, Solar billing is weird. They do not provide details of solar energy consumed but they charge for consumption. In other words, I am paying twice on solar energy I consumed (to local grid as well as Solar company). It seems Solar software/hardware is defective. So far, they are not able to provide details of consumption but send regularly bill with unit price ~30% more than the local grid. I am still waiting for answers from Solar. 2. Quality materials are not used for construction. For example: Patio-door outer-dark-brown-border material is detaching from outer wall. 3. They did not install many items described in the plan. It is hard to follow-up with the company. They gave home without really completing the home. 3. Many staff members are not trust worthy! It costed me a lot for trusting some of the staff here. ... More

We love our house that we bought from Lennar but it is missing small touches that we have to follow up with maintenance in regards to electrical work with out testing, same with plumbing as we had no cold water at the laundry room washing machine. Also some doors wood work in addition to internal / external painting.

1- ex. Paint pealing 2-a/c unit loud. Lennox & you say it’s normal 3- cabinets not finished yet! Closed in may! 4. Elec plate on side of house. Waiting for answer 5-over poor workmanship & work ethics mostly all trades.

The construction guys do a great job at laying the block, setting in the roof and handling most of the structural components. However, the outsourced painters, finishing trimmers, tilers and carpet guys are awful. Expect paint in the carpet and windows (the paint to basically be white chalk which comes off the wall when cleaning), the tiles to be irregular in height and to have missing grout (or just black mastic coming through the light tan grout). I won't even talk about how terrible the sod is installed in the yard. With all that said, these new constructions are great value for the money. Sure, you can't really make any meaningful choices, but you're getting a brand new house for the same or less than 2-3 year old comperables for sale in the area. The sales team is pretty honest and helpful in most things though the mortgage lender is awful - expect to have at least one or two major screw ups not in your favor. Once you're in the home, the guys that helped you in your walkthrough will do everything they can to set things right in the first few months. They're directly involved in setting up labor to fix errors. After that, they move on to new buyers, though you're still able to work with Lennar to fix issues for the first year. ... More

I was made to feel that I shouldn’t call with any complaints about interior and exterior construction.

Everything is awesome

This is the 3rd time we have built a home and we have had far less issues with the build with Lennar than any other builder. We are very happy with the quality and value of the home. There have been a few minor issues but things have been resolved relatively quickly. Our salesperson Jenny and Construction Manager Derek were both great to work with.
