Lennar made what should’ve been an exciting first home purchase feel like a full-time stress job. From day one, communication was weak, timelines kept shifting, and clear answers were almost impossible to get. Every step felt rushed, disorganized, and reactive instead of professional and proactive. For a first-time buyer, this is the exact opposite of what you need — and Lennar failed on all fronts. Issues were constantly pushed down the line, questions took forever to get answered (if they were answered at all), and promises made early in the process magically changed later. Nothing felt transparent. Nothing felt consistent. Everything felt like damage control. Buying your first home is supposed to feel secure and exciting. Lennar was great to work with from the time I started looking and continues to be very responsive to requests and needs. Brandon found the home for me and helped get it closed quickly. Marco walked me through lending all the way to closing, standing by every thing he promised. Miles and Guillermo have been most helpful on any repairs or requests after moving in. Quality of construction appears to be great, no issues so far! I do wish they would change the source for appliances. Overall they work but if I had to rate the appliances would be a low rating. Had very good experience with Lennar

We had just moved in ,yes you are correct , we’ve had problems since the day we finally settled in , handles braking off from bathroom,holding floor on top floor ,took quit some time for someone to come out and fix it , electrical issues ,the top half of the house kept turning off ,took them some time to come look at it . All was said it was the tv doing the mess up ,like whaaaatt. This house is very beautiful but for what we will end up paying for it it’s worth its price now that we are having problems . The side of our home was flooded with water due to HOA as we were told ,city of Phoenix couldn’t touch it,took them some time to come fix it,flooded our back yard . Yes sorry for this bad review but not sorry , this is crazy ,I’m sure any home buyer would be livid just as we are . But what can we do other then wait till it got fixed or looked at right . They installed a leaking dishwasher TWICE. The repair person they sent out no called/ no showed THRICE!

From the time we showed interest in our duplex the salesman Marc was very helpful to the closing with Heather was a very good experience. Heather was so helpful every step of the way.

This was my first Lennar home buying experience. It was the fastest smooth closing I ever had. The team was efficient and worked very closely with me. They answered all my questions in a timely manner. I LOVED the utilization of all the technological advancements. Way to go Lennar! I would highly recommend Lennar for your home buying experience.

House is very nice. So far we are very happy in this neighborhood.

To improve it would be nice to offer an upgrade in paint. What was used is cheap and feels like sand paper. Already have the whole down stairs re-painted. None of the light switches match up and we had to install a lot of lights which was shocking. We have many light switches that operate nothing that we can tell. No ceiling fans at all. Would also have been nice to add blinds or at least have the option to pay for them in the house purchase. Another expense to get this completed.

We had several minor issues that were corrected quickly. I grew up in Pa. and moved to NC. 10 years ago. Drywall finishing in the south is very poorly done. I'm guessing part of the problem is the rush to finish. It makes no sense to me that the garages are not painted. That could be done in less than 2 hours. Sales people were awesome. Very professional and helpful. Grass was put down in late October and were told there is no warranty on that. Pine straw is messy and blows around and we replaced that with mulch during Christmas week.

The homebuying process was smooth with Lennar.

The whole buying process was smooth. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The whole team was fast on responding and tried hard to help the customers.

Alston and Damien made sure everything was working correctly on our new house and made repairs if needed.

Going back on this experience we should have walked away in the beginning. From our final walkthrough to 2 months later I have had someone from Lennar or their warranty people here almost every weekday putting bandaids on their poor quality homes. From issues that we brought up to the construction manager Ryan that we were promised to be fixed that were never fixed to cracked cabinets, crooked walls, bad lvp, plumbing leaks, bad landscaping that was supposed to be fixed and then only have fixed the list goes on and on. I started looking for my perfect single level home with no backyard neighbors in June 2024. I met Mechelle at the Lebanon, OR development but that didn't have what i was looking for. She would contact me about every quarter for the update on construction starts in Albany which lot would meet that criteria. In July, 2025 one became available. She was moved to a different Lennar site before I would be able to make an offer on that lot and turned my information over to sales agent Aaron. He was wonderful to work with but if it hadn't been for Mechelle and her contacts to keep me posted, this sale would not have happened. ... More

Found our desired home in a desired neighborhood with a great view, there were some issues that we noted right off the bat and these were addressed with the builder and they promised to take care of these. Most of them were taken care of but some were still lingering. One of the major issues was noticeable issues with the roof in various spots, specially the ridgeline, flashing not secured in some areas, and low spots. you would think that a reputable builder, at this level of home and pricing would make sure these were addressed prior to listing but we were the ones who found them and addressed them. There was an obvious issue with the back windows where the frames are clearly crooked and they were to take care of these before we closed, it wasn't, it is currently being addressed. We're starting to discover a lot of issues with the piping, we're getting lots of sediment and the faucets have to constantly be cleared of sand, which is concerning. Lastly, we had issues at closing, Lennar was not ready at the set time, we had movers in place, utilities, etc. and we wasted half a day ending up costing us more on the movers and just not being an enjoyable experience, this is the third home we close on and that was the worst experience we've had. ... I can’t believe how this houses pass inspection! Connections paint and overall quality horrible !!

My experience with Lennar has been challenging and, at times, disappointing. From the outset, several issues were either missed or inadequately addressed, including problems identified during the inspection and final walkthrough. Some repairs were delayed, minimized, or proposed with solutions that did not meet reasonable quality standards. Communication required frequent follow-up on my part, and concerns often had to be reiterated multiple times before receiving attention. While some issues were eventually acknowledged, the overall process lacked consistency, accountability, and the level of care I expected when purchasing a new home. My first time looking at the 55+, I was very impressed. My salesman John Malone was patient with me since I was just looking and not ready to purchase. He checked in with me every few months to see where I was at with purchasing a home. When I was ready, he showed me the inventory that was available and I went to closing within a month. It was a great experience for me and I would not hesitate to refer others to him.

Closing on the house was confusing, we were given no updates until about a week before the closing when WE finally contacted Lennar and asked what was going on. The program the closing office was using to electronically sign didn't work, and they had to switch to a different program which stressed me out on a very busy day for me at work. The office we went to to pick up the keys was disorganized and very crowded with many people all trying to close. We were also disappointed that Lennar has cut out some basic components to the house, garage door opener, towel bars and toilet paper holders etc, making us have to track down and install them ourselves. Lennar's slogan used to be "everything's included", I guess not anymore. Also one month after purchasing the home, the hot water heater died. Warranty service sent a plumber out the same day, who said there was a loose wire, but he didn't say where the wire was. The manufacturer of the heater? At the circuit breaker? The home is beautiful, I love the openness of the kitchen and family room in one area. The whole house is well put together

Everyone was helpful. However, the technology is difficult to maneuver for a person without the knowledge to understand. And the mortgage process is so detailed. However I understand that is required. Lennar personnel helped me immensely.

Was not informed I had to buy and install towel holders . never bought a house with that not included. Also garage not finished off never had that issue as well. we have built 7 new homes in the last 10 years so I am aware of what other builders include. Price was very good for area.
