All was great until I came home one day and found 2 men replacing the air compressor on my air conditioner They were told the house was vacant which clearly it was not They could not provide me with any work order and told me I would have to contact the hvac company which I did without explanation other than they had a work order .The hvac company went ahead and registered my air conditioner so they could get paid for the service and I did not find this out until I went to register the unit a few days later.

This was one of the most stressful processed I have been through. If we hadn't loved the floorplan and neighborhood I would have walked away from a $15K deposit. To say that communication was terrible is putting it lightly. It was essentially nonexistent. I sent 100s of emails that went completely ignored and unanswered. Our sales rep deliberately misled us to calm us down when we were really exhausted from the process. While he didn't outright lie he did mislead and showed highly unethical service. This is my family's first new home purchase. I wish I could say that everything went as well as we wanted but that is simply not the case. Lennar moved our closing date several times. There was no infrastructure set up for internet in the home until 3 weeks after our closing date. The whole thing felt rushed and then ultimately stalled toward the end. I feel that Lennar just wanted to get this one penciled in the books before it was truly move-in ready. My buying experience with The Lennar Team was very good. All questions and concerns were answered in a timely fashion. I love the floor plan in my home and what other builders include as optional are standard in a Lennar home and for those reasons, I purchased my home. Lennar was huge disappointment. Lack of communication from sales agent and construction manager made the purchase and building process very frustrating and difficult. If we didn’t love the neighborhood we would have walked away.

Our New Home Consultant disappeared. After they got our EMD, the only time we heard from Karl was when we reached out to him. Nothing, not even a congrats on your new home when we closed. Our construction manager was nice but she was completely overworked and you could see it. She was juggling a lot of homes and it did not seem like she received a lot of help. The loan officers and sales representatives were very helpful. The second construction manager, Chris, DID NOT follow through on the items he promised would be fixed and they still are not fixed. This puts unnecessary stress on the buyer.

Everything about this home buying process was miserable and it was made worst when we moved in. We spent over a million dollars on this home and it is made so poorly. Our experience with a lennar has been a roller coaster. The agent that helped us from the beginning has been very helpful. She was especially helpful right at the end. The frustration comes with the construction manager. When we did our final walk-through, there was no power, so there were things that we missed. The overall home buying experience was not good. The construction manager was the absolute worse. The quality of the home is very cheap and already falling apart. I will never purchase or recommend a Lennar Home to anyone.

Overall we're happy with our Lennar home at roughly 2 months of living in it. Quality of the finish work leaves a lot to be desired though. Lots of little things that are somewhat hard to catch during inspections that need repaired or replaced. If you can avoid closing until every little thing is fixed do it, much easier to get it fixed before you close.

Absolute horrible experience from beginning with our sales person to the very end. They have no ethics and do not follow true building codes. Sakes people tell you lies, the floor plan is 3rd grade pictures, craftsmanship of the house is beyond low grade, project managers aren’t even licensed builders which is why so many issues occur. No follow up from top to bottom. I closed in September and have 3 page punch list that has taken forever. I’ve had to have outside vendors come in. 48 outlets on 2 breakers isn’t even electrical code despite them trying to convince you it is. I can go on ...

I have many outstanding items on my punch list--such as my deadbolts don't work. a cabinet door is damaged, poor shelving has left holes in the wall and the subs they want to send out only work Monday-Friday from 8-4 and are totally impossible to book. I would highly recommend you get a plan, with dates on paper from Lennar. The weekly status updates were in the form of a phone call and if it wasn't for my notes from those, there would be zero accountability. We faced numerous delays which is to be expected with a new build but hit a series of catastrophic issues as we got closer to the close date.
